Some fans need to take off the Geordie-colored glasses in regards to Longstaff. Play Bruno in the 8 and keep Tonali in the 6 where he belongs, and have the Willock-Joelinton duo on the left side with Gordon over on the right. Guys like Longstaff and Murphy are good squad players but shouldn't be in the lineup unless absolutely necessary.
110% agree. Howe has shown we have to take players in and out for formation and create more ways to work. We noticed straight away we had more lads in midfield. Tonali, Longstaff, Joelinton & Willock worked great. They bossed it, while Willock provided an attacking sense on the left-hand side, Joelinton was a Beast holding the ball up and winning tackles. Not to mention the great work the defenders did, it's so much better. Gordon will work on the right for now (though everyone would disagree) with Barnes coming as an impact sub.
Cole Palmer is a quality player but i was never under any illusion that Chelsea would win at SJP even if Palmer had started and our performance away at Stamford Bridge wasn't a bad performance. We practically matched them but Chelsea do not like playing at SJP.
My pick is Kelly in for Schar. Schar got destroyed away at Arsenal last season so I'd keep Burn for defensive corners and move Kelly over to the right.
It’s highly likely that we will play a big six team in the final if we get there. Unpopular and bizarre opinion but I wish we could have a great manager in charge of the team at Wembley. Howe is a great coach but not a great manager.

@@Jettplayzgames how did this nonsense end up with 5 likes? Deluded and clueless of a take.

Gibbo is spot on ... its not the MOTM that made the difference, its that a lot of the lads turned up to produce a true team performance 👏
Bruno starts v Arsenal with Tonali and Joelinton, he's such an outlet for me is Bruno.
We can only celebrate if we win the trophy 🏆 imho, for me, after 54 bloody years of nought😢😮

Drop players that aint preforming bruno aint been that good dont be afraid to drop him . Play the strongest in that position
Guys, surely you didn’t see Muryak walk past Joe several times, it was embarrassing, I love Joe but it’s as if you didn’t watch the game.
everybody av spoken to since last night seems to think we are in the semi final already...let's hope the team don't write brentford off so easily
Man Utd away is far bigger than a carabao cup game for Chelsea.
