Thanks to Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, music from the 40's and 50's are very very close to my heart. They've opened up a whole different world, one I really wish I could've been a part of. This song is amazing and Peggy has such a pretty and haunting voice with so much emotion. I kinda cringe when thinking of today's music. But whatever; I'm quite comfortable in this section of UA-cam (: cheers to Fallout!

People are too ignorant now and there's no respect for anyone/anything. "Women" don't dress like they did in the 40s/50s and all the music now sucks. I hate it

At least now women can dress as they please, domestic abuse wasn't properly illegal in 1950s America. Entertainment at the time wasn't all too great either, the 20th century stuff I'm particullarly fond of was mostly "Black Music" and heavily frowned upon and television is now leaps and bounds better. The 50s were only great if you were a white man.
I prefer the way women women dressed in the 40s and 50s. They didn't look like sluts Women hit men now A days and ask for equal rights but when a man hits a women, women flip out because they aren't strong enough and shit. And they're is still a shit load of racism going on today. Black on white, white on black, Muslim, Mexican. Etc...

She wrote alot of her hits, too, like this song. And she can swing harder than all the rest...incredible vibe and incomparable timing.

I went to school with her sisters children at the Avery Coonley School in Downers Grove, Illinois. Peggy's sister was equally pretty, but apparently not as talented. "Fever" was high on the charts, and played every day on the radio for minths at this time. All this more than sixty-four years ago! INCREDIBLE!
