One of my only "complaints" about the Eastwoods is that they made them _too good_. In most cases far better than the originals. And this has had two main affects. The first, a negative affect in my mind, is that some of that great feel, tone, and vibe, is lost along the way. As well as the weight issue with some models where wood has replaced fiberglass. The second, a positive affect, is that these guitars are for the most part far better than the guitars they're emulating. The necks are more playable and stable, things like the bridges actually work and can be intonated, a definite plus. And the added benefit of keeping some of those old, great guitars, around in spirit and in the hands of a new generation who doesn't know that Fender and Gibson weren't the only sound of great rock, jazz and blues.
+greatvanzinni We try to put most of the gear we demo into a live band context, make sure to check out the rest of our channel if you like the live band stuff!
Whats the groove played at ua-cam.com/video/SDWooioCAPE/v-deo.html ? Is it a song, or just something you were running with? Thanks again - great video!
I've always loved the Chet Atkins rendition of Mr. Sandman. You did a great job Joe!

Oh man, Reverb covering the Classic 6... But I want more demos of the Classic 12 D:
+Brandon I'm personally interested in the HB version
One of my favorite Neil Young songs!
Anybody know the body depth of this beautiful guitar? Thank you.
Would you recommend this one or a Gretsch G2622?
Gretsch I feel has a wider variety of tones.
Behind That Locked Door - that little riff SOLD me
Is that model made in China?
PLAYS BETTER THEN MY ORIGINAL GRETCH

One of the cooler vids I've seen lately. A band playing. Who would a thunk? What's the bass?
+greatvanzinni That's a Warwick Pro Series Star Bass. It's got some killer tone.
+Reverb.com Ah Probably a take on the old Framus Star like Wyman used. good on Warwick.

Everyone tries to avoid saying this is made to resemble a gretsch. Why?
Looks like one, sounds like one (with more bite), and cost more than one.

+Slowdy "Southern Man" by Neil Young. For future reference, we do always try to put the songs and riffs list in the description. Thanks for watching!

+PSPbrtag The one at 2:00 is Mr. Sandman
An excellent demo - thanks. Can you tell me what amp and FX pedals you used to get the sound for "All My Loving".
Many Thanks.
+Erik Thomas No effects, just the sweet tones of a VOX AC-15 on the Top Boost Channel.
Thanks for the information. Its a lovely sound!
Does this sound like a Gretsch to you?
