Willys jeep 5:1 transfer case gear kit

Want a better crawl ratio in your Cj2A? With this custom 5:1 gear kit you will got from a measly 36:1 to a 75:1 final ratio. This kit requires no extra modifications to the jeep. Just the transfer case cutting and grinding shown in this video. This option is cheaper and way easier than a 4-speed swap with the same results. You will retain the stock 3-speed t90 transmission. I don’t understand why most manufacturers never seem to get low range gearing low enough.
Only 4x4s I’ve ever owned with a fairly good low range is my Suzuki Carry and my Ford F-250 manual with the granny 1st.
My Suzuki sidekick and my manual Toyota FJ definitely could benefit with a lower gearing ⚙️
The silicon bronze TIG rod is good stuff for that cast iron 👍

I wonder if you could do the same to a Dana 20. I know gears can be swapped on these cases. I forget the details though.

That would drop my 2A from like 85:1 to 173:1 😅 they would be awesome for a guy who wants to keep their T90 instead of swapping to a 4 speed.
