Hi! I’ve been a silent watcher for about six months now- I always return to your videos because they’re the only thing that entertain (s?) me without overloading my senses! 😅 I’ve been in a reading slump for a while (not so great when I want to start an English lit degree this year) but after watching your videos recently I’ve been managing to read a few pages each evening. I’m now halfway through Dune! Anyway, I hope you have a lovely morning/day/evening whenever and wherever you’re reading this. Love, Katie from the UK.
Just when you think Emma can’t get any more perfect, she goes ahead and tells you she dreams of opening up an animal shelter. Emma, coming from a rescue bird mom: bless you! That is a beautiful dream! I hope you’ll chase it some day.
omg the concept of buddy reading a book where you are actually reading the same copy of the book is so cute. you should leave notes for each other if you end up doing this again
Regarding falling out of love with coffee: Have you tried descaling your coffee maker? Or running vinegar through it a few times? Former Starbucks barista/coffee enthusiast here. Build-up in your machine can make your coffee either taste bad, or even affect how long the water has contact with the grounds before it drips into the carafe, resulting in bitter (too much time) or watery (too little time) cups. I've been really enjoying your videos and haven't commented thus far, but I hope you can find your love for coffee again!
Tips for switching between online and in-person (I've had to do it on and off for a while) - I like to utilise my uni's library on the days I'm on campus, and I designate those days to uni work days. It helps me separate uni and home, set up those boundaries, and it can be fun to study in a new environment. I completely empathise with the stress/exhaustion of long commutes to Uni - I live a 40 minute drive from my campus, 50 minute train ride! So I like to make the time worthwhile and save on parking. I am more productive and focused normally as well. So if that's an option for you, studying on campus or maybe in a library nearby, that might be helpful! It is a really hard time to be a student. I so feel for those who started uni during the pandemic, because it would be so difficult to focus/build good habits/be motivated. So just be kind to yourself, Emma. I always need to be reminded of that and find it helpful. Be patient with yourself and the adjustment and listen to your body. It will all work out, it always does - don't beat yourself up over not working at optimum.... Or even knowing what optimum is atm?? I've been feeling very supported by your honesty the past couple of weeks. Every few days I hop on to check if you've uploaded because I find your videos very relaxing. I've been having a really hard time with my mental health recently, so I cherish any breathing space I can find! I start back at uni in a fortnight (I live in Australia, our summer is Dec-Feb), and it will be my last semester and then I will be graduating. I am so unsure what I'm going to be doing... Thank you for helping me relax :)
It makes me so happy that there is a backlog of old Emma videos that I can graze when the mood hits, since I only found your channel about a year and a half ago ❤️
When I was a child, around 4 or 5, I started to dream about becoming an archaeologist. Fast forward 2 decades, I am writing my thesis and will graduate next year. Those dreams that might have seemed "silly" or "naive" when we were kids are worth chasing after. I can say, without a shred of doubt, that despite the mess the past 2 to 3 years were, that I've never been happier, all because my inner child is happy too. I wish you the best for your future, and I hope that you will get to open that animal shelter. Love, Olivia from France :) PS: As for the pain that can be uni life, when I feel bone tired, I give myself "me days", days where I just step away from anything uni related.
I was on a book subreddit last week and a redditor posted a comment mentioning your channel. my heart swelled with pride and joy for you. you soo deserve the recognition
Emma you are such a magnet! always reeling us all back to your cozy channel! 🥰😊 how does your bro (bless his heart) feel about retiring the handmade desk? 🤣 LOL your outfit while baking is adorable love the soft pastel colors! tu apportes vraiment de la joie dans nos coeurs. xoxo (also that's a BEAUTIFUL dream to live on a farm and have some property to breathe and just be with the Earth's animals, don't let a soul tell you different, yeah if after the Bachelor's you don't want to go to grad school or phD you don't have to, it's your life! ❤️ and you do what makes you content, feel safe, happy, alive, and fulfilled) another p.s. you looking like a mean QUEEN KARATE KID! very EPIC!
Hi, my name is Julie. I'm 27 and currently in my second B.A I've been watching you for a couple of months now! I find your vlogs comforting, they keep me company when I'm working from home/studying.
hey emma! your talk in the beginning of the video about the future and everything kind of really resonated with me for some reason and it really made me think. I've been at my first actual job for like 5 full months now and for the first time in sooooo long i didn't have to think about the immediate future or what i wanted to do in life because at least i do something at the moment and that hadn't been true for a very long time so that was such a relief. I really remember back when i was at uni and when I was doing my masters I was constantly going through the cycles of being content and then feeling awful about what I was going to do and feeling confused about the future and then just like that i was back to being okay. That being said, i'm 26 now and i'm still confused and don't know "what to do" and i'm making a conscious effort not to think about it like this. Because everything I've ever done i didn't expect for example doing my Master's in a country I never expected and now having this job that i spent years dreading and finally realizing it's not that bad after all (i'm teaching english as a foreign language and this was kind of like my last resort plan when i was in uni and now i'm doing it and it's not horrifying which is a surprise to me). Either way, I'm reaching a point now that I'm starting to think about "the future" again and what my actual goals are, not so much in a pressuring way but more in a "how would I actually enjoy living my life long term" way which is kinda hard. It really made me think however how you said that those dreams that we have when we're young are not really that out of reach so i'm gonna have to think about that more. Anyway, thank you for these videos and for sharing your thoughts on so many things it truly means the world to me that we can all have this space where it's quiet and calm when things are good and bad so thank you and i'm sending you lots of love! ❤
It's interesting hearing your thoughts about Dune, and especially that you think it would be confusing for a non-reader. As somebody who hasn't read the books yet (at this point, I'll probably wait until the movies are done), I found it incredibly easy to follow. I also found that the world was set up really well, but I can definitely see how you might think otherwise if you read the book. Also, we love long format!
I absolutely love the long videos. Everytime you upload I see the length and if it's over 40mins I go yeeesssss. You can upload a 2hr video and I would still love it.
I love your long vlogs! It feels like hanging out with a friend. I'm really glad I was lucky enough to find your channel a few months ago. Hope you're doing well ❤
Emma I just want you to know you are never alone and beside having your favourite books you also have us,we can go through everything together ! I adore your slippers they are so cute ! Thank you for being my safe space
Hello, my name is saskia. I started reading somewhat last year again and I've been enjoying every minute of it.Your videos are so comforting to watch. thank you 🥰I am also doing some online classes, it can be hard at times but we definitely can get through this❤️
Hi Emmie! I'm Mariana, I'm 30 year old and live I Brazil. I've been watching your videos for the past 2 weeks and I love your content, it's real, raw, honest and absolutely lovely! Yes, January it's been rough on everyone it seems, and almost 2 year into this pandemic mood it's affecting so much of our mental health, so, I feel you dude! You're definitely not alone! I work on advertising and marketing and reading it's my happy place since I was little and also a way to feel connected to my dad who is now 73 years old and have a type of dementia called DFT, which affects how he understand words and retain information, as well as usual memory issues. But reading was always our happy place and so I love it cause it makes me feel closer to him. I hope you feel better and more motivated through February, and that you have a wonderful weekend 💖
I don't know what laws there are around disability accommodations in Canada, but here in the US you can get disability services at your college with a doctor's note or paperwork about your diagnosis. Some disability accommodations you could get for your headaches from screens are printouts of any visuals/powerpoints so you don't have to look at the screen during the lecture. I also get screen headaches sometimes, and rubbing peppermint essential oil on my temples and forehead helps, as well as sipping on hot peppermint tea, or vanilla mint tea.
Aw you got me crying with you describing your dream life to be living on a farm someday. I came to the exact realization a few weeks ago. As a little child I always wanted to be a vet but kind of forgot about it, so for the last 5-10 years my dream was to become a doctor. I'm trying to get into veterinary medicine uni this year instead of normal med school but don't know if I will be accepted. It is such a undescribable feeling when you realize what you really want to do with your life. 💚
Love your long videos. They are really therapeutic and relaxing. I’m still inpatient regarding more details of new desk you got. I know it has a dark brown top but other than that it’s still a mystery. I studied interior design many years ago and curiosity regarding how people install furniture and plants in there homes is still present. Have a great weekend and hope you’ll get to walk in fresh snow and enjoy nature. Take care. Greetings from Belgium 🇧🇪 😊😉👋
Hello! I've been newly binging your content for a couple of weeks, and I just think you are absolutely top tier. Your vibe is everything to me, and I am rediscovering all my joys for literature. Your nature content gets me so emotional in the best way. It is magical. Thank you for all the work you put in and mental health discussions as well. Seriously, fave channel. 🖤
Emma this video and your whole existence means so much! I was really lost, burned out, depressed but this video gave so muc motivation and like power to me to get up and work. Not in a toxic way but like really positively because it made me understand that the stuff ive been going through is valid and like its ok im like this, its normal, im not alone. So thankyou so much!!!
I love the long format! Usually when people talk for a long time I get bored and click off, but you have a way of making it so interesting and I actually really enjoy it
i love your long videos!! i watch them while i work and it’s so calming, you’ve replaced my coffee shop ambience videos haha I’ve been into photography since 2007 and when you said you were looking into cameras to start shooting with Sony is the first one that popped into my mind for you! Definitely follow that lead!
hey emma! i'm from new zealand and i've been watching your videos for about a year. i put on your videos in the evening and they really help me to slow down and relax, esp your long form content. i'm almost done with high school (which is sorta terrifying) and i'll be off to uni to study english lit! what i love most about your content is the realism of it; i find a lot of booktube or studytube channels show a sort of flawless version of themselves with their elaborate routines and how they never seem to procrastinate or have bad days etc. i like how you are open about when you struggle with your work or have a bad health day and it honestly makes me feel a bit more human. however you've also inspired me to take a step back and appreciate things like a nice cup of tea and going on a walk (i'm very jealous of the canadian landscape btw, the snow and woods look beautiful). loved this video as always
Hey Emma! I'm sort of new here, I started watching your videos a few months ago and realised they really helped motivate me to read more often and read things out of my comfort zone, so thank you for that! I'm loving how open you are with struggling to study online and other life things, it is honestly very refreshing hearing someone speak honestly about these things. I'm in Australia and have been studying online now for 2 years with only a few weeks here and there on campus. I have almost dropped out about 50 times and have struggled incredibly with motivation and my mental health in general. I've never even had a lecture in the lecture hall :( But we are expected back on campus for this new semester in a couple of weeks and watching your videos right now has motivated me to get organised for my last year of Uni. The online study struggle is very hard but you (and whomever else reads this) is not alone! Much love from Melbourne, Australia
Hi Emma, I'm Didi and I'm 21 years old. I just wanted to tell you that you've really reignited my love for reading. I've always loved English but I only recently realized that it's something I want to study in the future so you're videos kinda help me understand what it's like. I also love how cozy and real your vlogs are too. Watching your videos has made me want to talk about books more on my channel! Anyways, thank you for your warmth and honesty. I hope you are having a lovely day.
just wanted to say i found your channel about 5 months ago and i never commented before but i thought i let you know you've easily become one of my favorite youtubers i came for the lovely book recommendations but stayed for your angelic personality and just the realness within your vlogs i truly appreciate your videos not matter the content
please show us more snow! the place where you live seems so lovely, i live in a tropical country and it makes me so happy when watching snow on your videos❤
One semester, I had consecutive classes from 12-4pm and I'd have the meanest migraines. So, I understand what you're going through. Sending my online uni strength over to you!
Hi👐🏻 I am Angela from Hong Kong. I have been watching your videos for a month and I love your style of talking. Your voice kind of calm me down and I am so grateful to have you when I am lost XD. After watching your videos, I pick up my hobby of reading again in the lunar new year holiday(don’t know if you know that😹😹(because high school students in hk are very stressed. We always have lots of assignments and quizzes so we don’t have much relaxing time in school days). I just want to thank you for giving me so much strength💕💕
“The strongest of all warriors are these two - Time and Patience.” ... said by Leo Tolstoy, from War and Peace. your vlogs are like the icing on the cake. So goood.....
I’ve been here since about halfway last year! It’s been amazing here?!? Always feel warm and fuzzy when ur notification pops up. I don’t use Insta or socials really anymore so these videos really are a nice time for me ! Always sending you good vibes , LOVE FROM AUSTRALIA ❤️❤️✨✨
I can totally relate. I'm so sorry you have to go through all this Emmie :( . Idk if this would make you feel any better, but I'm going through the exact same issue. I'm a medical student and I'm in my third year rn. We had to stay home and attend classes that definitely needed clinical postings as well to understand, so in the beginning it was really hard, but then we got used to it. It seemed a lot less stressful for the body because there would be no commuting. We could save hours on the subway to college and back, we could use that time to study or relax and try to work on yourself. After a while it kind of became a sort of assurance to me. I used to tell myself that i was safe at home and that the professors (ngl they're mean 😂) and the college and the virus couldn't hurt me or affect me if i was home. But then we were suddenly asked to start attending offline classes and my heart just dropped. Things were all crammed up. I didn't want to go back to my hostel, but there was no way i could travel from home daily, but what with the virus spreading and peaking. On top of everything we were set to have our final University exams in a week or so. It was really stressful and even traumatic in a sense. Now in third year we haven't even had proper classes. No one was motivated to attend classes (offline), we all just felt unsafe, disinterested, unmotivated and it wasn't just us.. even our teachers wouldn't show up to class most of the time. So instead of having class from 9:00-4:30 everyday of the week except Sunday, we used to attend classes every alternate day or twice a week because what's the point? Travel for an hour to and fro, just to attend classes for one or two hours at most. It's really hard to stay motivated. My point is, i know it's hard. But it's the matter of our lives and our careers and we have to hold on for now. We have to hold on because there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Let's all try and reach that light together❤️ . I know we can all do it! Love you and will always be here for you 💞. Thank you for your content. It's the only thing that makes me smile every day at this point. You even inspired me to start doing Yoga! So thank you. From the bottom of my heart. Sending love and warm hugs 💕
I've sort of been around since about July-ish of last year when I began reading more again. I used to read so much when I was younger, but until last summer I had sort of stopped since I was a mid teen. I'd put aside reading to put more time into my social life and other hobbies, but picking it up again I can't believe I lived so many years without it. I've read so many good books since then and I can't wait to read many more! I love seeing what books you recommend (and cosy vlogs of just everyday life for you) and I have an ever growing 'to read' list thanks to you!
Emmie! I just read Things Fall Apart for my African Literature class. I HATED it at first but then started to analyze it more in class and found a new appreciation for it. I did love the tales and folklore the community has and I would love to hear your thoughts on it when your done reading.
It's so embarrassing to me to write this comment because I'm not a native speaker and I don't speak fluent English. But your videos are so well organized and they really speak to me. I'm impressed and stunned with your clear speech. A simple listening to you helps me in my language journey a lot. Whenever I have a chance to watch your new video or old one which I haven't watched (for some unexplained reasons) I do it with such a joy I just can't explain it. Your channel is a real addiction to me because after finding it I can't stop myself from watching every video no matter what they are about. You're a wonder and nothing comforts and inspires me more than you. Thanks from Russia 🇷🇺
Your channel is literal a lump of comfort. I've been in a reading slump for almost 4 months, it's the worst one yet. Do u have any recommendations of books that will get u out of a slump?
Always really calming and reminds me to slow down. Feels like Emma is my sweet fun friend. ❤ Helping me push through with college and inspires me to read when I can
Emma, you are a champion. Honestly, it has been bizarre times for everyone, students, professors, parents, kids, ups and downs and just the fact that you are dealing with each day as it goes, letting you feel down when you are down, fighting for the things that make you feel joy, etc. in my book that makes you a successful human. It's okay to not know what you are doing with your life and I feel like it's a privilege to simply have the time to figure it out. You can have one dream, you can have many dreams as years go by and that's okay too. (if that makes any sense) lol. English is not my first language and sometimes it's hard to express a thought :D
I think the animal sanctuary is a wonderful plan. You seem to have the kind of presence that animals find comforting and gravitate to. Ohh! It could double as a sanctuary for introverts who just want to read books and pet animals all day! Like a cozy reading hotel. 🥰
Thank you for this vlog. I love this type of video too. It's so peaceful and cozy. I love when you mix a reading video with a bit of nature and walk. The reading and the snow together create such good vibes.
Hi *e m m i e * I'm JYOTI from Nepal I have been watching your videos since 4 months ago. When I told my sister that I'm taking major English for my undergraduate course she recommends me your vlog for study motivation and it helped me a lot . I really like your videos and I'm rooting for your more upcoming videos.. And it's okay to cry sometimes just pull back to yourself as a happy Emmie again. Stay safe, happy and take care....👍😄😄
I have a suggestion for the headaches while looking at the screen issue. Try adjusting the refresh rate for the monitor. Most of them are set just below 60 FPS (Frames Per Second), oftentimes, at 59.9 FPS. Go into the display settings for the secondary monitor via Settings and see whether it can be adjusted to a higher frame rate. I would try it out with my MAC, but it's dead right now.
hey Emma! I just want to thank you and say that I really really love your videos! they make me feel sooo cozy and relaxed, and really help me deal with the quarantine and this isolation period (since it's being very tough to deal with it here in Brazil) you are an amazing person, a grace to this world 💫 sending you cozy hugs and lot of love ❤✨
Hey! In response to your Q of whether anyone can help with the constant headaches, I find blue light blocking glasses genuinely help! (I know you already have prescription glasses, but you may be able to get them tinted..?) Oh and lots of green tea (as much as I love coffee, it really doesn’t help the issue)
For your hand cramping and muscle fatigue from writing, if you're using a ball point pen, I'd suggest changing to a different kind of pen. Ballpoint pens require more pressure and effort than pretty much all of the other kinds of pens. Felt tips are my personal favorite. :)
My daughter had a Zoom faculty meeting when my 4 yr old grandson decided to do a naked dance behind her. LOL! School started in person and she said her students are feral. LOL! I also love the snow but here in Oregon we are lacking, love watching you enjoying it. Reading A man called Ove because" laughter through tears is my favorite emotion".
Guess I'll say hi. I've been here for a while, and I love all of your videos. You're one of the reasons I'm studying Literature this semester, so thanks for helping me get back my love for books and the written word. Much love!
Hi, Emma! I'm one of the new subscribers you were talking about. Wanted to say hi from Latvia (northeast Europe) and thank you for making my evenings better with your vlogs. Got an e-book reader for Christmas so I was searching for some book reading inspiration and stumbled uppon your channel and found so much more than book recs in your videos. Watching your vlogs makes me feel so calm and at home, on of the 1st videos I saw was were you and your dog played in the snow and it brought such a big smile to my face haha. I'm also a bit struggling to get through the last months of winter so hearing you talk about your stuggles made me feel not so lonely. I know I'm never really lonely as all people overall struggle with similar things but sometimes it's hard to get out of your head and emotions and think clearly. So yeah, your videos are a bit of a hiding place for me when the world around me gets too grey and gloomy. Btw like how lengthy and chatty your videos are so I'll be looking forward to see more of these kind of vlogs. Have a wonderful day! -Astra
I spent the last year and a half of high-school online and now i am a first year student, in my second semester of online university and we 'll start going face to face in april and the whole concept is wild I don't even know how long it will take us to adjust again. Wild times.
Hi emmie, I'm a pretty new subscriber. I just wanted to let you know that I always gravitate back to your videos. Something about them just appeals to me. It's probably because you use calming sounds or you're voice is soothing and we share the same love for books. Anyway, I can relate to that feeling of being lost and I'd like to share what one of my professors said: "it's only those who are seeking to find their way, that eventually finds their path home". I hope you have a good day.
Hii I'm Lilli I've been reading ever since I was small but especially during the first lockdown I really got back into it again. I only discovered this channel about a week or two ago and I love it here so much!! The vibe is just right it kinda feels like I'm on facetime with a friend. PS: i love your voice its so soothing!
Hi, I am Sam. I started watching your channel for the reading content but now I enjoy your Vlogs and cozy videos. Thank you for the videos. Good luck with the classes. wishes all the way from India.
I still get anxious when I think back to my online-school time. I get you. 💜 I‘m glad you managed to enjoy the rest of it!! Yes! The change of setting is exhausting. I remember struggling to get back into productivity each time we changed from present to online schooling and back.
Thank you Emmie for each upload. Your videos are perfect to put in the background (hope that I didn't offend you 😉) . I just love your voice, music u put in ur videos. The peace and calm coming from your videos is just beautiful 😍. Thank you !!
Loved the vlog. Felt so cozy watching it while drinking my favorite black tea and eating honey toast 🥰 Btw, those martial arts poses looked real good! I only did Taekwondo for 2 years, but I sure as hell couldn't do movements like that anymore. Anyway, I totally get the answer of just wanting to live on a farm or having an animal sanctuary. A good friend of mine pretty much has the same dream. In fact, you are pretty similar in general, though she hates the cold and winter :D Hope you're having a great weekend, bestie
Very much relate to the online work thoughts. I finished 3.5 years of Uni back in January and in the end we ended up doing half of our total school time from home, plus our graduation. During our third year we had to do our animated graduation film in groups and all of us got more and more disconnected from the story and our work. It was really tough on people because the grad film is this big thing at school and some people use it to pitch tv shows etc. Towards the end some people from my group was allowed into the school because they were more crucial to the production than me and 2 other from my team and it was such a weird feeling seeing them finish our year long project together in person and not feeling like you are a part of it at all. My friend got so burned out my the whole thing that she didn't show of for graduation at all.
Hi, I’m Anka, I also play the cello, and I’ve been watching for about a year (I think)! Your videos are so calming and I really enjoy hearing you speak? Idk if that’s weird, but you have the loveliest voice :) I had to do online school for about a year and a half and I hated it, so glad to be back in person full time. I’m sorry you’ve been going through a hard time, this January was honestly pretty horrible and hopefully February is much better❤️
About to go into a grad school interview and I am freaking out - thank you for once again being a way for me to chill out and get through this semester 😭❤
The person watching 38:36 and seeing the earring that they lost😂😂😂Lovely vlog Emma, I really enjoy all of the winter vibes you've been giving, since we're in the pits of summer right now. Also really enjoy the long form, it feels like catching up with a friend
I am feeling so much better after watching your video today, I can't thank you enough! I am currently reading "For the Wolf" because of your recommendation and I love how it is written and all the roots wound around the words. Also I look envious at your beautiful snowy weather - I just have grey soup and rain. Oh well, I'll make the best out of it and read more... ;) Take care and until your next video.
New sub here- I joined because there is something so calmly wonderful about your 30-40 minute vlogs, but your Agatha Christie video just got me absolutely addicted, it was the best thing I’ve watched in SO LONG
hello ! i know im very late but your long videos are my absolute favourite. I can cosy up on a nice warm evening and stitch whilst watching your videos. It feels like the biggest reward so thank you so much for everything you've made ! :))
I think uni and reading together makes you like us, we bookreaders are great multitasker and I guess we are also good with doing school and reading books at the same time. hope you're okay!
I'm currently in the market for a good filming and photo camera. I'm leaning (well, pretty sure I have decided) on the Canon EOS R. I feel you on not liking shopping for a camera. Has been one of the most stressful things ever. Also, the tree and the traffic (about 13:58) struck me. Don't know why. Like a moment of the loud hussle of life passing by and not noticing the wonders of the natural world, it's magnificence and wisdom and beauty. You are so good at catching those little moments. Thank you for taking us on this cozy little journey with you. "Un-earth old parts of myself" - that completely verbalized what my year has been. Hi Emma's Grandma!! Hope you are well!
I like the long format, it's cozy and feels like having tea with a friend
Me too!!
I agree!
Yesss
Anyway, I hope you have a lovely morning/day/evening whenever and wherever you’re reading this. Love, Katie from the UK.
good luck on your future degree!! and in general, hope you’re doing amazing !

loved that you combined the reading and uni vlog this time 🧚♀️
definitely been easier and more fun for me as well!
@@emmiereads wonderful you've got this. Ive been inspired by you and other booktubers as well as my classmates motivation
@@emmiereads its alright to cry Emma i did today and im trying to reset. Yeah we are in this together 😃

Love, Olivia from France :)
PS: As for the pain that can be uni life, when I feel bone tired, I give myself "me days", days where I just step away from anything uni related.
❤️ and you do what makes you content, feel safe, happy, alive, and fulfilled) another p.s. you looking like a mean QUEEN KARATE KID! very EPIC!
hahaha i thought the same 😅

haha he completely understood, it was definitely a learning process! thank you so much, your words are so comforting xx and baha I try my best!
Hi, my name is Julie. I'm 27 and currently in my second B.A I've been watching you for a couple of months now! I find your vlogs comforting, they keep me company when I'm working from home/studying.
hi, so nice to meet you
You constantly finding jewelery on the ground since you were a little girl sounds like the beginning of a fantasy-cottagecore novel! 👀🍄🍃
hey emma! your talk in the beginning of the video about the future and everything kind of really resonated with me for some reason and it really made me think.
Love a good productivity vlog and I LOVE your new desk! It fits your space so well ☺️💜
thank you! I love it so much :')
Okay but you’re so pretty in and out and you would def be a main character i love your vibe🥺
I've been watching you for almost 2 years Emma and I love you so much
I love your long vlogs! It feels like hanging out with a friend. I'm really glad I was lucky enough to find your channel a few months ago. Hope you're doing well ❤
i hope feburary is better for you queen
Emma I just want you to know you are never alone and beside having your favourite books you also have us,we can go through everything together ! I adore your slippers they are so cute ! Thank you for being my safe space
Love how everyone is sharing their stories on the comments. Such a safe and comforting community you've created Emmie❤️ love from Argentina!
Hello, my name is saskia. I started reading somewhat last year again and I've been enjoying every minute of it.Your videos are so comforting to watch. thank you 🥰I am also doing some online classes, it can be hard at times but we definitely can get through this❤️
hi saskia! (I've always loved that name, it's so beautiful!) I'm so glad, and yess we've got this
The long, combined format is really lovely!
Usually when people talk for a long time I get bored and click off, but you have a way of making it so interesting and I actually really enjoy it
This vlogs are so comforting and cozy in a way it feels like we already know each other
Your videos are always part of my cozy nights
i love your long videos!! i watch them while i work and it’s so calming, you’ve replaced my coffee shop ambience videos haha
I’ve been into photography since 2007 and when you said you were looking into cameras to start shooting with Sony is the first one that popped into my mind for you! Definitely follow that lead!
Longer videos= more emma = happiness
Your videoes are like a very good book that takes me away from reality for a while and makes me feel good
hey emma! i'm from new zealand and i've been watching your videos for about a year. i put on your videos in the evening and they really help me to slow down and relax, esp your long form content. i'm almost done with high school (which is sorta terrifying) and i'll be off to uni to study english lit! what i love most about your content is the realism of it; i find a lot of booktube or studytube channels show a sort of flawless version of themselves with their elaborate routines and how they never seem to procrastinate or have bad days etc. i like how you are open about when you struggle with your work or have a bad health day and it honestly makes me feel a bit more human. however you've also inspired me to take a step back and appreciate things like a nice cup of tea and going on a walk (i'm very jealous of the canadian landscape btw, the snow and woods look beautiful). loved this video as always
The Truffle Hunters is such a beautiful film. I hope you enjoy it when you get to it ❤
Please do more vlogs combined like this? This is just a cozy way for me. I love the studying for school and the essay writing stuff.
My day is always brightened by Emmie vlog ✨❤️ we're definitely blessed!
please show us more snow! the place where you live seems so lovely, i live in a tropical country and it makes me so happy when watching snow on your videos❤
Your videos bring me so much comfort. 📚💗
This just made my day. Your videos are the only thing keeping me sane. I love you. Hope you have a lovely day
awe I'm so glad, sending you so much love Fiona
Your English is great 🤗 and I agree with everything you said!

Your channel is literal a lump of comfort. I've been in a reading slump for almost 4 months, it's the worst one yet. Do u have any recommendations of books that will get u out of a slump?
I struggle daily with anxiety, and panic attacks. I love your videos, and the way you film them. I hope you are healing. Cindy
I just wanted to say that you're one of my favorite humans. I love your vibes so much and you seem so kindhearted

I’m a senior in college too so I totally understand the stress you’re feeling right now! I hope it gets better for you soon ❤️
Your videos are so heartwarming ❤️❤️❤️❤️
And your voice- is bootiful and CALM, like how-

Much love!
hi dear

❤️❤️ All the walking with back to school is brutal. Sending good vibes
ohmygoshhhh i love the reading and study vlogs 🥺❤️❤️
I spent the last year and a half of high-school online and now i am a first year student, in my second semester of online university and we 'll start going face to face in april and the whole concept is wild I don't even know how long it will take us to adjust again. Wild times.
I love your long videos, I watch them while doing art or chores. I also love the mushroom hat :)
I love these cozy winter vlogs so much especially cuz i never get to really experience winter in LA 💜
When I saw you posted a new video I got excited and thought "I hope it's like 40 minutes long" and it is! Thanks Emmie!
Hii I'm Lilli
I've been reading ever since I was small but especially during the first lockdown I really got back into it again.
I only discovered this channel about a week or two ago and I love it here so much!!
The vibe is just right it kinda feels like I'm on facetime with a friend.
PS: i love your voice its so soothing!
Just the sound of your voice is even comforting.
these vlogs give me life.
Hi, I am Sam. I started watching your channel for the reading content but now I enjoy your Vlogs and cozy videos. Thank you for the videos.
Good luck with the classes. wishes all the way from India.

these videos are so therapeutic
i honestly aspire to make a vlog as beautiful as yours! thank you for making such amazing and soothing content ❤️
I still get anxious when I think back to my online-school time. I get you. 💜
I‘m glad you managed to enjoy the rest of it!!
Thank you !!
not at all - I love that! so much love xx
Loved the vlog. Felt so cozy watching it while drinking my favorite black tea and eating honey toast 🥰
Btw, those martial arts poses looked real good! I only did Taekwondo for 2 years, but I sure as hell couldn't do movements like that anymore.
Anyway, I totally get the answer of just wanting to live on a farm or having an animal sanctuary. A good friend of mine pretty much has the same dream. In fact, you are pretty similar in general, though she hates the cold and winter :D
Hope you're having a great weekend, bestie

New sub here- I joined because there is something so calmly wonderful about your 30-40 minute vlogs, but your Agatha Christie video just got me absolutely addicted, it was the best thing I’ve watched in SO LONG
This video made my day. Loved it so much. Your voice is so comforting. Sending you love. Thank you for making long videos like this. ❤
hello ! i know im very late but your long videos are my absolute favourite. I can cosy up on a nice warm evening and stitch whilst watching your videos. It feels like the biggest reward so thank you so much for everything you've made ! :))
Your videos made my day. One of the things I look forward to each week.
