there was also another theory that the IPC follows orobouros of voracity because it said something about how the IPC keeps on taking everything from the planets in a very greedy way and then offer them to orobours I can’t remember who made it though
would it be okay if i bounce off of the “stonehearts being amber sealing propagation aeon” theory to make my own? with credit ofc. i have an idea of how that would connect to genshin too, so i just wanted to ask if it’s okay. if not that’s fine! idk if i’ll actually get around to it tho lol
@@softlyblooming Yeah, go right ahead! I love seeing people expand on my theories (with credit of course) - it's really really cool to see ideas I came up with pop up in fan discussions in different places on the internet :) If you want, I'd love a link to whatever you come up with!
Fun fact: Aventurine mocks the lance of preservation trailblazer, calling it “The architects flawed stone”. Reminder that the recognized group by The Preservation IS the architects.
I will say Aventurine is playing a role there, I don't take anything he said in that scene too seriously. BUT that role he's playing is one that's accepted in the IPC. And we've also seen the IPC scorn the Architects in Belobog. So yeah, yet more evidence that the IPC cares not for Qlipoth.
Random headcanon: Second swarm disaster BUT Ruan Mei successfully creates a synthetic Propagation emanator therefore making her the new Aeon of Propagation
Also remember, in this most recent update, Himeko mentioned bringing leviathan bones to Ruan Mei, so what if Ruan Mei is trying to clone Oroboros as well?
@shadowzerthefirst8061 well we do know that Ruan Mei wants to become an Aeon and Propagation does fit her MO. The question is can an Aeon be born from a preexisting path? Thus far we've only seen a path come from an Aeon not the other way around. If she does become the new Aeon of Propagation that opens a whole new can of worms that throws into question everything we know about Aeons, their function, and creation. I can see Hoyo pulling this trick but it's a lot of it happens. I'd be all for it but the implications are already making my head hurt.
She's not exactly propagation though. She's like...recreation or rebirth or something. But we have seen Aeons come from a path, sort of. Nanook is one of the youngest aeons, and he was specifically born because of the destruction the Swarm aeon caused, but we don't know the exact circumstances so it is iffy.
@@RomnilWaterRuan mei wishes to be her own aeon with her own path. Her experiments were trying to figure out why and how aeons were created, propagating is the most simplistic ideal thus most easily replicated, which she did. People often misinterpret her motives of bringing back the swarm, she proved her theory right so there’s no need for the swarm anymore. She’s most likely gonna take it up a notch and create something that breaks the fundamental rules of the universe this transcending to aeonhood.
@@Void-ui8sz It's currently my pet theory that the Stellaron's themselves serve as some kind of catalyst to become an Aeon during the disasters they cause; assuming it's not a mistranslation, at the very start of the game there is a conversation between Kafka and Silverwolf when discussing Zandar One Kuwabara, the supposed creator of the Erudition Aeon, Nous, where Silver Wolf makes a throwaway comment stating that the rumors/legend about Zandar creating an Aeon better be false because she doesn't want to be called a 'Zandar Hunter' instead of a 'Stellaron Hunter'. Welt has previously stated that, while many believe that the Stellarons come from Nanook and are certainly being used by his agents (and seemingly everyone else whom gets their hands on one) to further their own ends, no one knows without a shadow of a doubt where they're coming from or why. There are only theories and suspicions. On Jarilo-6 we can see that the Stellarons are as potentially as dangerous to the Destructions agents as everyone else --given how many were wiped out by the Eternal Freeze - and the will that drives them is not necessarily aligned with the Destruction.
Another interesting thing to note is that while the IPC may not be acting in the name of Preservation, we do know that atleast one of their emanators, Diamond, does draw power from the Amber Lord. If I recall correctly, one of the lines in the TB mission for the 2.1 update talked about how Acheron's blow against the cornerstone-powered Aventurine was somewhat softened by the fact that he was drawing power from the Preservation. Since the cornerstone is a portion of Diamond's power, we can infer that he truly is an emanator of Preservation. I just wanted to remind everyone as this can mean a few things concerning people's theories about the IPC.
See here's the odd thing - there is some implication that the Aeons and the Paths are not intrinsically connected. Like the path of propagation still exists in a pure state while the Aeon theirself is corrupted. The way it's described is the aeon is the being "furthest along the path" so that's really kinda strange and odd and I'm not sure what to make of it.
there's also the fact that IPC is ridiculously big that it's very much possible to have multiple factions in it. maybe diamond is following preservation, but i can't be sure ozwaldo schneider is the same considering boothill points him as the one responsible for nuking his planet and he likely has a hand in how sigonia ended up the way it did. personally, my bet is on a combination of corruption and someone manipulating the direction the company goes.
20:02 You mean the patch where an IPC grunt unknowingly found himself to be inside the stomach of a Giant Sting, and we learned about the Stings’ abilities to create hallucinations? Probably not as big but definitely somewhat interesting
Another fun fact is that Qlipoth builds walls between worlds preserving and isolating them from one another ... it's not just walls at the edge of the universe but also between the worlds so that just in case Oroboros the Aeon of Voracity can not eat all the planets at once. it servers as the defense line ... Also if one planet becomes effected it does not effects the other planets... The IPC does the opposite of this by connecting worlds whereas the Qlipoth aim is to isolate them from one another to save them from calamity.. So its clear that they doesn't follow thier Aeon
Doesn't count that big of a hint. Galaxy Rangers follow Lan but they don't search to kill abominations like the xianzhou, but all evil, likewise Memokeepers are split between the GoR and Cremators, but both follow fuli despite the latter going against THEIR will
@@darknessknows1235 Yeah you are right .... but in case of preservation i don't think that they follow the path and concept of preservation at all they are just monopolizing everything ,yet they still preach about the ember lord.. the examples you provided stands correct
@@laibanoor5571It's not like Qlipoth is only a defender, what they are doing still fits Preservation with the exception of connecting worlds but that can easily be justified by them not being able to create walls like Qlipoth, and even then, Qlipoth isolates to defend, not to separate
You were cooking with this one! Just makes so much sense that the "filler" patches actually progresses the main story instead of just being random little side quests.
Yep! I feel like the "Planet patches" are the Trailblazer's story and the "filler patches" are progressing the "villains'" story, and then sooner or later the two will collide :)
Honestly, the Path of Propagation being a separate Path physically attached to Qlipoth isn’t that crazy to belief. The Paths in HSR are … so incredibly flexible, I’ve recently found out that in one of Kafka’s dialogues when you’re questioning her in the Loufu, she reveals that the Path of Propagation used to be part of the Path of Permanence! It’s the complete opposite situation of Order and Harmony, and the reason why this was accomplished is because Tayzzyronth pursuits ONLY Propagation, nothing more, nothing less. Even the philosophy of Propagation is useless to the Path of Propagation. Aeons preside over their Paths, even when an Aeon is apparently incapacitated to some degree, there is no alternative being to preside over that Path. Then we have Qlipoth taking Propagation away from Tayzzyronth, and according to your theory, the Propagation is now corrupting the Preservation, however I wonder if instead … the Propagation enhanced the Preservation? Like I mentioned earlier, Propagation used to be part of Permanence, the Vidyadhara can no longer repopulate, and this is an issue they’ve constantly been trying to find a solution to. (Sorry, can’t help but trying to remember … didn’t Ruan Mei in her Trailer say something about “something something Propagation, Repopulate Permanence” or am I misremembering that?) Propagation was a minor Path of Permanence, but it was extremely vital! In the Path of Preservation, the Propagation should be considered a minor Path of Preservation, and yet … these two Paths have not merged together, the Path of Propagation still persists, which makes me wonder … has the Path of Propagation itself … duplicated? A Path of Propagation for the Swarm, and a minor Path of Propagation that merged with the major Path of Preservation? Now, onto my thoughts about the IPC, I wish to mention right now that … I’m a bit biased towards my thoughts, but I have been proven wrong on several thoughts of my own, so I’m always open to other theories even if they oppose mine. I believe the IPC is one of two things; A Faction of Equilibrium who disguised themselves as a Faction of Preservation, or A Faction of individuals who wish to take control over every Path. I cannot decide between these two possibilities since they both include the thought process that the IPC is taking control over every Path, one possibility suggests they’re doing this because of Equilibrium, while the other possibility suggests the belief that controlling the Paths means they control the cosmos. We’ve always never really mentioned the bad side about Equilibrium, the hardships it guarantees in order to sustain Equilibrium. When we first achieve Equilibrium, it tells us quite plainly that we will receive more rewards, alongside harder enemies. A rather easy form of Equilibrium to keep up with, but what about the more … complicated measures of Equilibrium? HooH is described as an entity whose already spun the web that everything has already fallen into, THEY are inevitable. For such an inevitable existence … why are there Emanators of such inevitability? What is the Path of Equilibrium, and who are the Pathstriders of such a Path? These are definitely questions that should be answered another time, but still rather important to address now and again. If everything is already in Equilibrium, then wouldn’t the followers of Equilibrium do their part in ensuring this remains true? This is how a Faction of Equilibrium was founded, made up of Equilibrium fanatics, however they’d quickly find out that the other Paths don’t really want to be controlled, until they found the IPC, who managed to perfect the Act of Control, so the Fanatics of Equilibrium joined/infiltrated the IPC, and consequently earned the control of Preservation. If you look closely to the IPC of today, you’d quickly notice that they have many ties with other Factions, Xianzhou (Hunt), Garden (Remembrance), Guild (Erudition), Penacony (Harmony), and so on, including the fact that they hide so much information suggests a connection with the Enigmata as well. The only real evidence I have to suggest the inner workings of Equilibrium, is the IPC levels, all the way up to Level 50, which is a number not so suspicious on its own, until you think about the fact that 50 is perfectly 50% of 100 … Equilibrium is the pursuit of keeping things 50/50 (something along those lines). My other IPC theory is the Faction who wishes to control all Paths in order to control the Cosmos. Question, where are the Paths? Answer, Absolutely Everywhere, including Nowhere (thank you Nihility! Love ya buddy!!) in Genshin, the Khaenri’ahns once believed that whoever controls the Abyss, controls the world, well what if that belief made its own way into HSR? (No, I’m not suggesting an in-depth connection between the games, only a similar way of thinking that anyone from both realities could’ve conjured up.) So, whoever controls the Paths, controls the Cosmos. One of the very first Paths they took control of, was Preservation, thus, they disguised themselves as a Faction of Preservation. And I’ve already mentioned the evidence of this control over Paths in my previous paragraph.
That first part there makes SO MUCH SENSE, and actually explains some of the plot holes I glossed over when making this video. Thank you! As for what you're saying about the IPC I like your second theory there - that they're trying to control all the paths. That lines up very well with what I've observed about them.
@@iamemamae always happy to share my thoughts, especially when it helps out another person! Also, I watched the Celestia Myraid video about Ruan Mei again, she said “Dissect Remembrance, Control Equilibrium, Deconstruct Beauty, and Reproduce Permanence.” In the IPC’s potential interest of Controlling Paths, they might soon find themselves looking into Ruan Mei’s research about Controlling Equilibrium, if not already looking into Ruan Mei herself, due to her intent of becoming an Aeon. Now please excuse me while I deconstruct Beauty, and dissect Remembrance before Ruan Mei gets a chance!
I would be SO INTERESTED to hear more of your thoughts on Ruan Mei, I haven't looked into her character directly, but you seem to have spent some time on her.
@@iamemamae Unfortunately, my thoughts on Ruan Mei are rather slim, I’m aware of some facts about her that might raise suspicion, I’m not saying there isn’t anything about Ruan Mei to learn about, just that I haven’t personally looked that deeply into her. My most significant thought concerning her is that Ruan Mei will very likely lead us to some extremely significant lore concerning Aeons and Paths. The likelihood of her becoming an Aeon is … well, it’s definitely a very interesting possibility that is as possible as the developers want it. There’s a chance that … Ruan Mei is a 4th Wall Breaker? In her Character Trailer, we literally see our Gameplay from her perspective, it could’ve consequently be due to us being in the Simulated Universe, so she’s simply seeing a Simulated Gameplay, but … it’s up for some debate I guess?
Before the video, I expected you'd talk about how the IPC followed Aeon of Voracity (hence the greed and consumption that both parties do). But boy oh boy the evidence you have for your theory is already more than valid. (The IPC and Oroboros connection I said was from Ashikai's video about Aeon Counterparts... if my memory served me correctly) Love the video as always, keep up the good content.
Oh I have THOGUHTS about the Voracity, and let's just say.......it's not out of the question they might follow THEM too. I have a way it makes sense, but there's not as much evidence for it. I'll make a short about it :)
Given Voracity vanished without explanation, if the same thing happened to it as Tazzyronth, then Qlippoth could be both Voracity and Propagation at once, on top of his preservation, and trying to square that circle is how everything is going wrong. The Swarm Disaster conflict is continuing inside of Qlippoth itself.
Except it might not be a conflict anymore. Because the Swarm very explicitly "consumed" everything in its path. Making the two of them ripe to merge with each other, despite their opposition.
Hey Ema just wanna say that you deserve mad props for taking the admittedly complex star rail lore, and explaining it in such a uniquely and funny way. Like every joke in this vid lands and I makes the lore so much more enjoyable!
STAR RAIL 2.5 SPOILERS BELOW THE CUT . . . . . . . . . . OK SO THIS VIDEO WAS INCREDIBLY WELL-TIMED! I'm still standing by that cornerstone theory btw. We now know that Luocha has PART of Tazzy in his coffin, but as for where the other parts are, them being in the possession of the stonehearts still feels incredibly plausible to me. And Ruan Mei's involvement is VERY important! I'm going to make a video about this, but I found it very interesting how in 2.5, all the factions involved are most concerned about Propagation - the Borisin, the Vidyadhara, and even the Alliance are making concessions to Tazzy in their Godslayer protocol. This is really fascinating how all of this is unfolding. Also, I don't believe for ONE SECOND that the IPC/Intelligentcia Guild was just an unwitting accomplice to the Borisin.
It’s all fun and games until someone with the Abundance stops focusing on their paths more obvious aspects and uses it to give Qliphoth a larger attention span.
This is legitimately super interesting! But there were a few things I wanted to mention and hopefully get your thoughts on? - Unless my memory has totally betrayed me, Ena herself didn't seem to be responsible for the Harmony in Penacony being tampered with. The actual culprits were (at least to my understanding) implied to be a hidden faction of essentially, Path of Order Fundamentalists. Its very telling to me that even Sunday, basically the ultimate end product of this group, still freely admits that Ena the Order is dead and gone. That said, the idea that the 'Path' that the IPC is on has been corrupted in someway is definitely still plausible. We know precious little about how Qlipoth ascended after all, and as for a means or method for that corruption, we know that the IPC started to radically alter course after...I believe it was De Wayne first made contact with the Iron Throne. - Very briefly about the "multiplying and intensifying suns" thing, I'm less inclined to take this as evidence of Tazzyronth's power, then instead as evidence of Qlipoth's immense power. If there *is* another Aeon manipulating or affecting this moment somehow, I think its actually Xipe. Causing 'The Suns to Rise' is specifically mentioned as the Third Deed Ena did when establishing the universe in Sunday's poem, and its mentioned a few times in Swarm Disaster that when Xipe ascended and absorbed Ena, multiple civilizations mention their suns blinking out. This leads me to ponder if this act, of 'diluting' ole Tazzy is the entire reason Xipe was born, as if something about this task wasn't possible for, as Jade would put it, two different kinds of Order. - And speaking of Tazzy's dilution - and I can't even take credit for this next part, I'm just paraphrasing part of a much larger theory that Ashikai did about a month ago. But I've recently come to adopt that Qlipoth's Path, like pretty much all of the paths in Star Rail, is at least a 'slight' misnomer. Its definitely Preservation, but Qlipoth's very active and violent transformation and imprisonment of Tazzy would imply that its not 'Stasis' but rather a kind of...loseless exchange of energy. Or in other words, a preventive counterforce to Entropy (which...would make the IPC basically a galaxy sized Anti-Entropy faction-goddamnit). - The final thing that caught me is that Oroboros completely disappeared in the middle of its scrap with Tazzy, and hasn't been sense since. Annoyingly, I'm writing all of this spur of the moment, so I can't find this exact passage again, but I feel *SO* confident that I recall something about the Oroboros seeming to either rise or dive into a vast, black body of water...which, sounds very, *very* similar to how IX and the Nihility is often described...so....I don't really have a follow up to this. I only remember this so strongly because the idea's been stuck in my head for months but I still don't know what to do with it. And that's everything! Um...sorry for hitting you with my insane, mad ramblings. Great video btw, looking for the next thing! ^^)/
- No you're not exactly wrong - Ena wasn't the one who caused the Order to take over. But it's been implied and it's my belief that the beliefs of humans (or halovians) can sort of influence the movements of the aeons - it's my belief that Idrilla merged with Xipe, same as Ena, because people began to view Beauty, not by a strict standard, but as somewhat synonymous with Harmony - and in the same way Order went from being viewed as strict adherance to a system of roles and regulations and more a system in which everyone works with each other without conflict according to their nature. These are ideas which have started to surface in the real world in general in the past few decades, and so it's a logical progression for characters which are meant to represent these ideas. But especially with Idrilla, it's explicitly said (I think by Himeko during the Argenti quest?) that the Beauty was one thing, and then *people began to believe differently* and so the Aeon of beauty began to change. All that to say, I do believe the "lower species" (lower than the Aeons I mean) can influence the Aeons themselves, and although Ena was completely Assimilated into Xipe, the fact that there was a fundamentalist group on penacony basically began to cause a schism within the person of Xipe, so Ena began to sort of "reawaken" or separate herself from Xipe. Sunday's goal didn't seem to be to ressurect her though. It was more like he was going to become an aeon himself (and he almost did it - the "Embryo of Philosophy" was him beginning to ascend). - Of course I'm partial to my own theory about the suns, what you're saying is logical though except for the last part. Xipe was very much alive and active before the swarm disaster, and if my memory serves, was recruited into the fight by Ena. - I like that summary of Qlipoth's nature, and it fits in well with what we know about previous hoyoverse games. Anti-entropy makes a lot of sense. But the IPC isn't following a philosophy of anti-entropy either way. - I'm going to do some more videos about Oroboros, so stay tuned for that - you're not wrong in what you've said there, but there's a lot more to it, I just didn't have time for it in this video. Thank you so much for this comment! It's really good and thought-provoking!
@@rickelmehanwinckel2699 I disagree - beauty can be found in bad things, but that beauty is tied to how the bad *harmonizes* with the good, how it brings closure, how it ends cycles, or maybe you're talking about the beauty of even flickering fire or something of the like. Harmony isn't limited to what is peaceful either.
@@iamemamae in Swarm Disaster we see Aha complimenting how good Xipe looks now after absorbing Ena implying that it's not only after Ena was absorbed but also that it either happened recently or Aha hadn't had a chance to interact with them since it had happened but also its fucking Aha so who knows bro lmao oof
Lol I didn't expect a random Mumbo to show up here xD And I loved that theory, I'm always impressed how much you cook with those and am looking forward to all the new ones you're coming up with :D
Your vidoe is awesome as always! I never really put much thought on the IPC following the Propagation, but after watching the your video, it definitely has merit. However there are a few things I don't fully agree with. The first is about the Trailblazer lance. It wasn't Qlipoth that given them the lance, but the will of the supreme guardian. That being said, Qlipoth did indeed glance Trailblazer way, but I wager that do to the fact that Trailblazer manger to pull out the lance that was wilded by Alisa Rand, the one who Qlipoth had given the lance in the first place. Second is while the IPC doesn't follow traditional way of Preservation, but there a reason why it's one of the oldestest and overall broadest of the paths. In a way, the IPC is preserving worlds by putting everything under it's own banner, in turn preservation the universe under one rule, just as Jade had said. Ofc I agree with you that another path has infiltrate the ipc(Voracity) and I even think that Taravan is one of its Emanator. But like you mention in the video, I'm sure only P-46 and above probably knows this, the rest still think the IPC as a whole server the preservation. Lastly is about the cornerstones. While I do think the IPC has pieces of the Propagation, but I fail to see why they would allow one single Department, especially how relatively young the Strategic Investment Department is compared to the others(It wasn't even there during the first Mechanical Emperor wars). And with the fact that Marketing Development(its rival and the head is the one Aventurine against) would be ever but against them. And if the cornerstones really did contain the Propagation, I'm sure Acheron or the dream master would've sense it during the battle with Aventurine. That and during his trip to nihility, it was the Cornerstone(preservation) that protected him from getting lost. That sounds more like Preservation then Propagation. That being said, this is me defending the Strategic Investment Department and the stoneheart rather then the IPC as a whole.(That and it could be my biased on the theory of diamond reclaiming the Ipc for the preservation…)
Fair enough on the lance, I still think it's a bit nitpickish tho - they got the lance and their fire powers at the same times, one was from Qlipoth, one was from the Supreme Guardians of the past - either way, blessed by Qlipoth. The problem with that second bit is that "putting everyone under one banner" thing is directly counter to Qlipoth's will - he wishes to preserve cultures the way they are by *building walls* and separating people, letting each culture endure, just separately. No matter what way you slice it, they're following Qlipoth only as a front. I do believe that the cornerstones hold the power of Preservation, as that power would be necessary to contain the propagation. So it's possible that the power pf propagation in that battle went unnoticed simply because the power of preservation is overwhelming it, like how the smell of really strong food would overwhelm the scent of say a little flower sitting on the table. There's also the possibility of Diamond and the Stonehearts working to defend the cornerstones so others in the IPC can't try to bring back Tayzzyronth with them? idk there are a lot of possibilities here.
@@iamemamae Yea, I was debating wheater to put the lance part or not, but decided to just do it. Sorry! Btw, this is a bit off topic, I had a simier theory about the Stone. But instead of Propagation, but with Equilibrium. At the end of the video showed Diamond throne and the Stoneheart reaching for it, where not confirmed and completely likely me headcanoning for the moment, is the Cast Iron Throne from Gold and Gear lore. It has strong ties to the equilibrium. And considering the usage of a 'scale' to judge Aventurine which symbolize equilibrium...What if the Concerstone were powered by both the equilibrium and Preservation? OFC, this is totally a headcanon from just two short second scenes and the scale could also be taken as "Order" as well(But since Jade rejected order alr, maybe it still has a chance...) . So similar to your theory of the stone made from the seal of propagation but instead with Equilibrium?(But considering we basically know next to nothing about Equilibruim in the first place, I could totally be overthinking this...)
I really love this video! Although I overall disagree with the theory as I'm a firm believer that all of those bad things ARE part of Preservation as we truly don't know what 'Preservation' is for Qlipoth, at best we can only come to guesses on what they've done so far but we will never know as we can't ask them. This video was really made well alongside all of the visuals! It's very nice, informative, and not at all boring to watch through! It's amazing! Keep up the great work!!
Here's the thing, I'd be willing to believe you except that it's EXPLICITLY stated in the game that the IPC is going against Qlipoth's ideals of preservation. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Great video! When I was making my own videos dedicated to Aventurine Topaz and Jade, I definitely noticed how much their terrible actions were done with the means of expanding their reach and take stock of everyone on the planets they essentially conquer. I really like your theory on how they're essentially becoming a second Swarm, that's super interesting. The idea that the game is building up its larger narrative in the background is great storytelling, allowing each planet to stand out with own main narrative while simultaneously building up something greater, kinda like how shonen anime like One Piece are structured.
I find it hard to believe that the aeon is trapped in the cornerstones cuz aventurine shattering his would have been a bigger deal, like some power from the aeon of propagation releasing or something
Maybe it did, but remember, Aventurine's little adventure happened inside a dream, so while we know it also did shatter in real life do to the recent Myrad celestia, I don't think a "release of energy" like you'd expect would necessarily happen. You make a good point, though.
@@iamemamae I still find it hard to believe because it has been said multiple times that the cornerstones have portions of the emanator of preservation's (diamond) powers to help his 10 stonehearts
@@itsyaboiABG I mean, I'm sure that kind of power is necessary to control and subdue an Aeon of Propagation, though. The stones can't just be stone to keep Them there. They HAVE to have some kind of Power from an Aeon. Also, just because it's the power of an Emanator, doesn't mean the power was put there by Diamond. The cornerstones and the power in them pretty explicitly came from Qlipoth, but we've been told that They gave the stones directly to Diamond - that's what I'm calling into question there at the end.
@@iamemamae well an emanator of preservation's powers are Qlipoths powers or more specifically a portion of the path's imaginary energy. That's why i still find it hard to believe that the cornerstones hold the remains of tayzzyronth as aeon/emanator power is just the path's img energy if you get what i mean (might be speaking in broken English so i apologize for that). But i do agree with some of your points like qlipoth's corruption
Nice theory, as always. But... I believe that, rather Tazzy, I say that the true Aeon that they follow is Ouroboros. If not, why would they block Qlipoth information OR the Dusk Wars info? Also, they got a universal empire, but they still try to, greedily, get even more power and money. And what's the definition of Voracity? The state of eagerness to have a lot of something. That would explain why it is said that Taravan Keane, an emanator of Preservation, isn't even following the Preservation and even having some attitudes that align him to Ouroboros. So... What if Diamond's true intentions are to get more power inside the IPC to do an all-out civil war inside the IPC to reclaim control and re-orient it into the right direction? That would explain why he's going all-out getting the power of the Cornerstones to the 10 most capable people, to get him higher on the ranks of the IPC. Finishing with this, you forgot to mention the Cast Iron Throne, which is a key piece of all of the IPC's power because it can control the universal equilibrium and control the flow of wealth and poverty into the planets. Only three people went into the throne: The two founders of the IPC: Louis Fleming and Qixing, as well as the head Technological Division named De Wayne. To add more fuel to the fire, Qixing (one of the founders) is now in control of the Cast Iron Throne, the whole reason of why the IPC is so powerful economically (by having the power to generate money, thus, being able to be as greedy as you want considering that you can spawn money into your own two hands (I WANT THAT AAAAAAA)) In summary, my theory is that the IPC is more aligned with the Voracity, for just how greedily are getting the money loaned by Oswaldo's team, and Diamond is trying to get as much power inside the IPC to make an internal war to claim IPC's control (likely to get control of the Cast Iron Throne) and head it into the right direction (the Preservation instead of the Voracity). (Sorry if my English vocabulary is lacking) PD: You are the best lore youtuber I've ever seen, and I truly enjoy your content!
See, you're not wrong, but here's the thing - As the swarm expanded, they also took on a key characteristic of consumption, leaving planets absolutely devastated in their wake. This is something we also see with locust swarms IRL. Nothing is left when they finally leave or die out. As for the IPC following Oroboros directly, I actually agree with that too, I just didn't put it in the video. I'm going to make a short about it. Suffice to say, Propagation isn't the only concept corrupting the preservation. The IPC also has ties to a lot of other paths and Aeons, and someone in the comments said it's possible the IPC is trying to "consume" the other paths and bring them under the control of Qlipoth, which is a definite possibility. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! I need to look more into that throne, cause I actually don't know that much about it yet.
OK I'm sold on the overall theory. The IPC following the Propagation certainly makes sense. Looking events with this theory certainly makes things more interesting and alarming. I was already worried about Ruan Mei researching leviathan fossils but now it's more terrifying. The Question is: is she doing it for her own interests or the IPC's? Ether option is scary but worse if it is for the IPC. I really can't wait until we meet Oswaldo and Diamond. I really think we need to make our own opinions on them before we have any idea on who to trust. We know the Stonehearts are getting ready for war but now I'm not sure what side they're on.
I haven't looked into Ruan Mei specifically, only her association with other storylines and theories, but from the little I've seen in passing, that woman is INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS - She seems to be trying to become an aeon herself, or maybe even something greater than an aeon by creating one if that's even possible (Nous the Aeon was created by someone, I think she's trying to do something some similar). I'm curious to see how the Stoneheart stuff plays out. I believe Aventurine is trying to break the cornerstones to take away Diamond's power because he believes Diamond is to blame for his family's deaths, and that's a theory I've had for ages. Can you imagine what happens if he succeeds????
@@iamemamae I've long thought that Ruan Mei is probably the most dangerous person that we've met thus far. Her ambition, intelligence, and lack of empathy is a terrifying combination. Yah can certainly see Aventurine trying to contermind Diamond given his history and personality. I have some idea about the Stonehearts bouncing around my head right now but they haven't completely formed yet. I just feel that Jade giving the invite to the Stelleron Hunters, Aventurine teaming up with Boothill, and Topaz making a connection to the Nameless is important (Jade did mention specifically that she approved of the Jarilo VI negotiations because it put them in the Nameless's good grace's). Each Stoneheart we've seen thus far has extended their hand to another faction in the game. Of course each one of them may have done it for their own reasons but since it's now a trend we've seen with all three (currently) of the major IPC members makes me think there's something more to it.
Mhm, you're making good points. But this once again goes against Qlipoth's mission - he is an Aeon of barriers as well, keeping civilizations separate. The IPC is running directly counter to that.
@@iamemamaeimo Aventurine and Diamond are in quite good terms, afterall he was nothing but a slave to the IPC untill Diamond recruited him, and they both share an enemy which is Oswaldo. I'm getting a sense that there's currently a power struggle within the IPC, considering that the strategic investment department won another vote from the seven board members after their mission in Penacony. I'm leaning more on the theory that Diamond, as the emanator of preservation, is trying to cleanse the IPC from its corruption and preparing for the upcoming war among Aeons
I'd like to think hsr playable characters are not inherently evil except some super shady ones like Sparkle and Luocha but like Jade really didn't give anything away about her intentions at all and she looks the most sus out of all by being Lucifer like. I don't know if they can turn her character around.
Hey so, I don't know if you noticed, but... The IPC iconography is heavily into hexagons and gold. Now while gold and amber are basically the same for for this purpose you have to remember... Amber. Amber is not a rock like others. Amber is tree resin. Plant byproduct. It's also very often the color of something else made from plants, Honey made from nectar. This insect connect, along with the hexagon to honeycomb patters You Included In This Video (not gonna find the timestap but it was blue and white) makes the IPC's collection of gold... Incredibly hive like. Like bees collecting honey for their queen. Perhaps regular humans can influence an Aeon enough to change it... But we've seen little evidence of that so it's more likely that this is the Aeon of Preservation holding the concept of Propagation as well.
@@iamemamae maybe use that one rivers of gold clip with opal dropping it from his hands. That deliberate use of gold as liquid is also very interesting, as while can tie into the flow of wealth and commerce it is what also gave me the idea of gold being honey.
I like this idea. It adds a whole new context to the relationship between adventurine, topaz, and jade. Adventurine seemed to make it a point that while it hurts his position in the IPC, the distruction of his cornorstone was, to some extent, his goal. With former theories, it was simply a way to reduce diamonds power as his way to get back at the IPC. With this new theory you could argue that adventurine is doing what he can to stop the propagating. Correct me if im wrong, but with that in mind and the unwavering trust Jade and Topaz has in him, it gives me this feeling of a group of insiders fighting with extra knowledge. That would make some sense why in the end of 2.3 he seemed to be quite willing to help out boothill because if the entire IPC is corrupt it wouldnt be farfetched if a galexy ranger had come across this kind of information hence why boothill is so keen on getting to the strategic investment devision. Great theory. It adds a lot of potential context to charector motives already in the game without any very clear contridiction that come to mind. You could argue thats also why the stellaron hunters were soo keen on having things go a certain way in penacony as well. 1 stone down potentially 9 more to go.
I agree - I think Aventurine might have some kind of idea what's going on. Either that or he doesn't and he's going to end up accidentally releasing Tazzy with his revenge plot.
Interesting... With this in mind, Obsidian's words in the IPC Myriad Celestia trailer sticks out even more. How she would prefer if things were a bloodbath. And how even the highest ranking of the IPC are split. I wonder, when was the last time the Amber Lord truly gazed upon the IPC like it did for us in Belobog?
Just this week I connected some dots and thought the IPC could be serving The Voracity. Cause consumerism = consuming = eating = voracity. However, your theory does make sense. The kinda symbiotic relationship between Voracity and Propagation (one gives endless meat to fill the other endless hunger) always amazed me... There ARE links between Jade and the Ouroboros though, so I feel there's more in the IPC than just spreading (The Propagation) currency. Currency means nothing without the people hunger (The Voracity) for things they lack or need (or think they do). This is explored in a side quest in Penacony with that one weapons seller that sold guns to people who had their worlds invaded by other folks she sold other weapons to. She created the demand while also offering the solution. There's also something I saw about Qlipoth being a metaphor for the Principle of Conservation of Energy and how, by diluting the Propagation concept and converting Ena into Xipe, it showed THEY are not exactly about Preserving, but rather transforming without losses - he's pictured as a forger, after all, with a flaming core and a hammer. In this same video I saw that theory, though, it was proposed that Qlipoth fused The Order, The Propagation and The Beauty to create The Harmony (a three-headed divinity). There are clear ties between Ena and the Old Testament God and Xipe and the New Testament God. How it connects with the IPC serving The Propagation instead escapes me. Maybe these two theories are irreconcilable, but I believe both may be onto something... Food for thought. If you don't do it already, I'd suggest you to swap notes with Lalody from Lalody's Lore channel. She called well before (spoiler for current Trailblazing Continuance Mission on the Xianzhou) that Taoran and the preceptors were behind many of the plot holes in the previous Xianzhou arc.
Imagine if, in the future, when the ipc does decide to revive the Swarm aeon, he would be also shaped by the Qliphoth and just comes to him and starts helping him with the wall? And the sleeping dad would finally wake up, saying to the bug "nice job", and the ipc would go crazy after not getting any admiration for their work. Imagine how funny that would be. Or, like, Qliphoth being the new swarm disaster. Also valid option. Anyways, nice video, another emanator of erudition. And also, I do not care how bad their means can be, I wanna get into the IPC. Glory to the IPC, glory to.... Uh, idk which aeon
I appreciate the "Emanator of Erudition" comment, thanks XD Fair enough about wanting to be in the IPC. And hey, whether it's the Lord made of Amber or the Lord encased in Amber, it's "All for the Amber Lord" either way XD
BANGER THEORY another thing i noticed that could lead to this (might've already been mentioned) is the achievement where you get 10+ blessings of preservation in sim uni which just so happens to be called "MILLENNIUM BUG IN AMBER" (though millennium bug means computer error but still)
Yo? I didn't know that? That's a really interesting choice of name for that achievement! It could just be a reference to Qlipoth encasing the bug in amber, but either way, it's so interesting.
7:22 I rewatched that set of cutscenes a little while back and I noticed that Cocolia actually stabbed the Trailblazer with the Architect’s Lance (it was blue and icy though probably because she’s corrupted by the Stellaron).
Mhm! That she did! Then Qlipoth brought the trailblazer back and I assume also purified the lance. Or maybe it was our own trailblazing spirit that does that.
New viewer here from this video popping up on my recommended. I've wanted to learn more about HSR/ refresh my knowledge and this channel is perfect. The editing and overall video quality is so much higher than the 8k sub count would suggest. Thank you for the amazing video.
I don't comment on videos often but I just wanted to say you are like the Matpat equivalent of HSR to me, I absolutely love your theories and energy and it reminds me so much of him!! Ever since watching the Aventurine theory video, I've been hooked and your theories and evidence sounds so compelling I can't help but think, "no way, that's absolutely gotta be true." ON ANOTHER NOTE, I LOVE THIS THEORY VERY MUCH AND THE CORNERSTONE REVEAL HAD ME GAPING LIKE A FISH THAT GOT DRAGGED OUT OF WATER!!! It really made me think, "oh gee, everything actually is connected to Scott Cawthon's masterpiece of a decade ago and WALLS" and I've always been wondering what the IPC, a company that has "Peace" in the name and basically rules the economy, been actually working and waiting towards for. I would not be surprised if this theory becomes canon or at least a part of it canon. You cooked and served a gourmet meal, this is and will be my dinner for the week, thank you chef
THE IPC VIDEO IS FINALLY OUT LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO This now takes the cake as my favorite theory on your channel. I hope that it eventually becomes reality in-game :) Keep up the amazing work as always bud :)
If we talking the influinnce on the universe and Preservation (ironically), most of neutral Preservation comes mostly from Diamond Alliance faction as we know it as a fact, yeah (tho they still was voting if they will be Preserving or ignoring the victims of Aeon War in Ave Trail). Some of the other factions of IPC and especially Oswaldo's one is a very bad news. And yeah, we dont know if ironically the Voracity, Oroboros (the Leviothan against whitch Qlipoth also buiding the Wall) is what those folks are currently secretly (or unknowingly) follow.
The reason why I'm not entirely sure about Diamond is, the stuff the Stonehearts do was done under his leadership. So either he isn't aware of their actions or he doesn't have as much power as we've been led to believe. I'm not sure what to think of it yet.
This is an amazing theory 😮 I have never thought of this i just think that the 10 stone hearts lead by diamond who realized the ipc is not helping their aeon so they will start a civil war in the ipc so that they can eventually win and become an ally to the trailblazers in the endgame style war that will be sure to happen againts the big bad of the story Nanook.
mmmm I honestly am not sure that Nanook is gonna be the big bad. We'll find out, but I think this guy isn't as much destruction as we've been led to believe
I'm so glad someone else picked up on how god awful Topaz was in that Belobog questline..... This theory was a lot of fun and I LOVE where your brain went yes yes gimme all the crack theories!!!! Also, Qlipoth as a 'husk' is supposed to be that which... surrounds the Kabbalah (tree of life), which is a map of god = existence. They should be responsible for all of the firmaments around the planets, and biblically the firmaments are supposed to separate the sky water from the planetary water (broken firmaments cause floods). Honkai also often refers to space as an ocean, too. You know how our planet-themed relics have those domes around them? I think that is the effect of Qlipoth, as is the ball surrounding the universe in Ena's art.
Well, the Stonehearts MV and even in places during the Penacony arc mentioned they WERE preparing for a war among the Aeons. This information now makes those statements make sense.
Great video as always. I originally thought IPC might be Voracity but this also makes sense. Also IPC's small Qlipoth's picture looks like a bug's head
You lost me at the Cornerstones. I still think that Diamond is a true believer in the Preservation who is attempting a hostile takeover to get the IPC back on track. The rest, though, is a fascinating thought, and also probably correct. I am sorry if I missed it (and I never did much of the Swarm Invasion in the SU), but is there any reason that Tayzzyronth couldn't be encased in Qlippoth's main body?
Yeah, the cornerstone stuff is a bit of a leap, but it's one I'm willing to take for the sake of a theory. I don't think Tayzzyronth is encased inside Qlipoth (although that was part of the theory originally), because he was broken into pieces and encased into SEPERATE pieces of amber pretty explicitly. Maybe this is another "author's flowery language obscuring actual events" case, maybe it's a translation error, cause those happen, but with the information we have, no I don't think that's what's going on.
I think everything in the video made perfect sense except for the part where you said that the cornerstones were parts of the aeon of propagation.... I say this because I think it was made known that the cornerstones were powers that were given by diamond himself and that he was an emanator of preservation. Although this still plays into the theory aforementioned, in the penacony quest, Adventurine's cornerstone was actually destroyed so if technically a part of the propagation was inside the cornerstone, it would've been released because of it being decimated. This is just what I think however, so I personally thought that this was sort of a hole in that last part of the theory. Thoroughly enjoyed watching this tho!!!!
We were told that Diamond got the cornerstones directly from Qlipoth and they hold "the power of an emanator" but part of the video was that I'm wondering if he was lying, and that even though the Cornerstones did originally come from Qlipoth, Diamond lied about being given them directly, and simply just found them. We don't actually know that much about Diamond. We've been told he's an emanator of Preservation, but so far, I don't really have a reason to believe he even exists. There are so many questions yet to be answered. As far as the Aventurine stone being broken - we didn't actually see it get broken. It was brought into Penacony broken, which means if there was something inside, it was released when we didn't see. So yeah, still a lot of unanswered questions, but we'll get more answers the more we go along.
omg you might be my new fav hsr lore giver and theorist honestly. you brung up things I didn't even know and ideas that just make sense ITS SO GOOD please keep up the good work!!!!!
This theory is absolutely insane, so well put together as well!!! (Also potential leaks spoilers) If the leaks are right, Luocha and his coffin is going to be a PROBLEM
Heeeyy, I missed you Ema! Great video to look forward to the future of the story! Also, now that I've tried making videos myself, I can really appreciate how amazing your editing is! 👍🏾
Thanks for the video, another theory that I can tell my friend so they keep looking at me like I’m some sort of crazy being (Black Swan IS Razalina you must believe me and I assure you that Misha was the victim of the bite of ‘87 or something. A trustworthy woman on the internet told me that, you should check her vid- WAIT DON’T RUN AWAY). But really, good job on all the researching and putting all the pieces together. Also the editing and the script are top notch as usual!
1:55 MUMBO JUMBO SPOTTED i have a few things abt the ipc -the astral express feels like its too buddy-buddy with the ipc -topaz is the ipc's star child, she's seen that they can do good and genuinely believe in their ability to do so despite their 'planet restoration' efforts only being ~60% successful. from the newest myriad trailer, topaz's poster looks like a recruitment poster. -i have a feeling the aeonic war will kick off due to the actions of the IPC(they can profit off of medical aid, weaponry, defense etc). -maybe we'll destroy the cast iron throne? -if the ipc wants total control of the cosmos, who's to say there isn't Order lurking in the IPC(but i doubt this bc of how prevalent the order was in penacony, it feels kind of redundant) -maybe theres enigmata thrown into the ipc since they refuse to fund any research to figure out the universe before their beloved qlipoth -hoyo is now starting to throw in elements of voracity. in penacony theres a readable in the banquet hall of the radiant feldspar and it has a list of dishes. one of them is momentary voraciousness, if memory serves, and its written in red text. also it doesnt help that when i played SD, my first aeon encounter was ouroborous. theres a leak do to with the voracity which i will leave out(mainly bc it could be false and spoiler-y) -why are their only 10 stones active? we know from topaz that each stone has its own gifts, what aventurine can do is different from topaz or jade, but what is preventing them from using all of them? is it because when they are all used, tazzy's coming back? -i want to believe the astral express fights the ipc, if what you said is right, and the ipc is acting in the interest of the propagation, then the express could be something like the voracity? EDIT -what reason does the ipc have to research into the borisin and mecha versions of borisin. what are they trying to prepare for? the ipc is definitely shaping up to be a bigger threat and we can't do anything to stop them right now
YES IT IS THE MINECRAFT MAN! He's so cool XD - I agree. Astral express needs to back the heck off. - Topaz is definitely the bait for a lot of groups. She's chill, and then you agree to her terms and she doesn't realize the devastation that happens in her wake cause the IPC (and my money's on Jade specifically cause we SAW THIS HAPPEN on Penacony) shields Topaz from the horror that they actually do. Topaz will be devastated if she ever finds out. - Mhm, IPC will profit from any war that happens. - Mmmmmaybe. Pull a GOT and burn it with dragon fire or something. - There are a LOT of different paths represented in the IPC by different members, but they all bow to Qlipoth. There's been a thought thrown around that they're maybe trying to take over the paths too. - Enigmata is definitely in there too. - I have a lot of thoughts about Voracity actually. I didn't include them in this video, but I think there was a sort of merge that took place before Propagation and Preservation, if ya catch my meaning. Also, thanks for not sharing leaks. I avoid them as much as possible. - I don't know why it's only ten. Maybe Diamond is keeping his cards close to his chest, since the other departments of the IPC aren't exactly friendly with them, and they need bargaining chips that others wont expect. - I don't think Voracity and Propagation are currently as opposed as they look, but yeah I do firmly believe that the Express will be opposed to the IPC the further we get in the story. And your edit... - It has little to do with the Borisin and EVERYTHING TO DO with destabilizing the Xianzhou. The Xianzhou is one of the few factions that's managed to stay allied with the IPC without becoming dependent on them, and that's not good enough for the IPC, they want to CONTROL the Xianzhou, not just be able to ring them up when they need them. The Borisin are their key to doing that. My guess is the IPC is going to try and do a "swoop in and save the day" move like they've tried on Belobog and Penacony, but the thing is, the Express keeps cleaning up messes before the IPC can claim credit for the victory. So...we might become a problem for the IPC somewhere down the line.
@@iamemamae i cant believe i didnt think the ipc would try to destabilize the xianzhou but omg it makes so much sense, *thats* why they wanted to buy aurum alley. also the ipc trying to control the paths theory is also such a really good future plot-line, i really hope its true. maybe we'll reach to a point where the ipc orders a hit on the astral express, or one fo our members(most-likely mc cos.. theyre the mc) to cut their losses im only good with mcrp lore LMAO
Your entire script and editing is fantastic and easy to understand. Stuff that I Knew and didn't know, but also good for my friends who clack 2 braincells together LOL
So here is something i'd like to say. Maybe the propagation isn't directly controlling qlipoth but has changed the concept of preservation in its root, and maybe through the corner stones it fused with qlipoth since it has become a part of his body. So now the preservation wants to spread as far and wide to preserve anything, and make more things to preserve by putting its influence over more planets through the ipc?
@@iamemamae idk how Yaoshi hasn’t gazed at her tbh. All she does is cultivate, create, reanimate and even simulate life. The cherry blossoms during her ult are kinda sus too lol
Great theory as always. Honestly makes you wonder how much each Stoneheart knows because as you say Jade and maybe Opal would probably know considering their position but the other ones I’m not sure
Great video as alway E^. I like to point out 3 thing: 1. A faction and an Aeon are similiar in that both operated on a set of iron protocol. While concious judgement matter sometime, 90% it didn't. 2. There are 2 main way Aeon affect mortal: Direct Event & Protocol Inspiration, and the later is how a faction are created in HSR. A group of people look at the Aeon's Protocol and act upon it. 3. A faction's oparation protocol can change, and while Aha or HooH have a hand in making it happen, it the mortal who have the final judgement and carry out the action. Maybe it HooH who guide the butlet that almost kill Robin, but it Sunday's and his family decision to abandon Harmony and be inspired by Aeon/Ideal of Order. HSR at the end of the day are the story of people and their story, not the god. The fact that the IPC, who claim "All for the Amber Lord" but more inspired by "the Ambered Lord", Qilipoth's Opposite, is quite a tragedy. So, i think it less "our CEO are brainwash by magic space bug" and more "damn, we let our greed guide us to do a 180° of our god" is the reason why the IPC acting like a new swam. Finger cross on IPC CEO actually mind control by a magic space bug, this still a fantasy game after all.
@@Koscacio i agree It you makes no sense at all How ipc follows voracity or Propagation, why they would seek to revive It when this would Destroy ALL the things they are on Control right now?
My GOD how can you make each theory more exciting than the last? I love this theory! I just don't think the 10 stonehearts actually would have the pieces of Tezziroth, it feels like something way too powerful go give to just 10 members on a section of the IPC (And it wouldn't be so easy to break one like Aven did). But i could see the pieces being given to the higher ups, and maybe Diamond used his to create the 10 corner stones.
Quick theory, what if the cornerstones are the 'amber' the propagation is held in and 'amber' isn't meant to be taken literally Edit: I just finished the video and I just realized I agree with her
(Spoilers for 2.5) I see a lot of people speculating Voracity but honestly Propagation is extremely interesting, it brings up a lot of questions like why they would seek the Propagation, these insects are gigantic locusts with zero self control that constantly multiply. Wanting them around sounds like a recipe for disaster. But after 2.5 I kinda wonder if they want to use the Swarm to fight the aeons, if the reveal about what was in Luocha's coffin is anything to go by. Plus now, Ruan Mei seems to have gotten herself involved with the Luofu and according to Himeko now has some Leviathan fossils for some reason? So maybe Jingliu, Luocha, and the IPC are working together to revive Tazzyronth with Ruan Mei's help or maybe she'll become Tazzyronth, since she does want to be a god.
I never said the IPC didn't serve Voracity :) I just didn't say that they did. There is a LOT of evidence that they do. I'm gonna explain how that works in a youtube short sometime soon. My next major video is going over 2.5 and it's major implications. This game is shaping up to be something even more incredible than it already is.
while i agree with most of the theory like the propagation within the ipc, i dont think taz is within the cornerstones, mostly because of adventurine and him breaking his, if the aeon was truly contained inside i dont think diamond would have been able to easily repair it like that
Personally, I don't see Tazzy's presence as hindering him fixing the stone that much. I mean...he still fixed a freaking cornerstone, that's somethin to heckin look at either way.
Didn't know i was watching game theory with the intro😂 Side note : truly a crack theory, can't wait for it to be true like most of yours. I had a question have you seen the new bailu not made by dan feng but dan shu master theory? Its really gud
I'm so glad you liked it! I don't watch other peoples theories (I do keep an eye on what theories people are talking about though, so I don't duplicate someone else's too closely) because I don't want it to influence my own theorycrafting :) Thanks for letting me know it's out there, though - I'll keep an eye out for in game evidence now.
The idea of cornerstones containing aeon parts is fascinating, and raises speculation as to what side of the looming aeon conflict that the Ten Stonehearts are on. Are they aggressively amassing resources and uniting planets under 1 banner because the IPC saw the war coming and are trying to get ahead of the fighting in the name of Preservation, or are they going to be the ones that light the metaphorical match? Both?
I mean, they might be amassing resources to defend the world, or they might be amassing resources to feed a "big daddy leviathan" or just because swarm's nature is to consume? idk? there's a lot of possibilities here. They could go either way in the war
Did you take into account the light cone "On the Fall of an Aeon"? It shows where Tayzzyronth's (supposedly) sealed in Amber, so I have a hard time believing that the Ten Cornerstones is the same as that, since unlike what the video says, Tayzzyronth's concepts were stripped into pieces, not Tayzzyronth's body.
Here's the thing - I didn't see a need to for a few reasons. ONE being I don't think that's Tayzzyronth pictured in that light cone. If you look at the actual THING in the red orb - that's a larva - it looks nothing like the other depictions of Tazzy we've seen up to this point. If anything, the sort of "claw" things around the orb look more like Tazzy - like THEY'RE holding the orb. But TWO, we also know that the art for some of the light cones especially any that don't include playable characters in their art - are a lot more "conceptual" - the art is meant to evoke an idea, not necessarily tell us anything concrete.
@@iamemamae I learned something new, surprisingly. (That being it was an orb and larvae.) Light Cones are unique, in that they're merely solidified memories, which implies every image has been seen, whether in dreams or in reality. I understand the conceptual point, but the situation can be taken the same, which implies it's what it is happening. "One by one, THEY fell as the threat of expiration loomed over THEM." is taken literally as Qlipoth actually loomed over Tayzzy's body. This is also not the first time we've seen Tayzzy switch from insect to insect. Granted, all forms we see of Aeons are what they conjure up to the world, and Tayzzy has just been stripped and diluted, so the "larvae" might have symbolized that.
@@myhl See, the presence of dreams and/or visions as still acceptable memories for a light cone is what throws this into question for me. Especially with the "conceptual" nature of the light cone art. The other reason I don't think this is depicting Tazzy in amber is because it's explicitly stated that Tazzy was broken into pieces and sealed in separate pieces of amber, but we're seeing a WHOLE larva there.
@@myhl The piece of the prison was shown to her by someone who claimed to be a time traveler from the future. It's possible they just had a piece of the broken amber cornerstone to show her.
Fascinating theory! I would not be surprised if we got a Swarm Disaster Two Electric Bugaloo due to the IPC's shenanigans, definitely seems like something they would bring on themselves lol. But also this makes me slightly more curious about the supposed "fate" that Elio and the finality bring. Like, we got this crazy thing that could end in a universal war, Aeons coming back from the "grave", and quite frankly ALL of the Nihility if they ever do something, but the thing we need to worry about the most is "eventually Facing Nanook". Then again, it would make sense that if the second Swarm Disaster happens, Nanook would step in like the Voracity but destroy EVERYTHING in the process, rather than just 2/3, so that tracks. But yeah, it makes me curious that Nanook is supposedly the biggest problem we are ever going to face, and not any of the other Aeons, and more than anything, that Lan (or The Hunt) is going to be VITAL for this future. But idk, maybe I'm just spewing nonsense.
See I'm wondering if Nanook isn't the big bad we've been told they are. We've been TOLD a lot about them, but what we've SEEN of the Aeon theirself is just...it doesn't quite match up in my mind. Something's odd there.
@@iamemamae haha yes definitely the appropriate first impression. idk all the details but generally there's a theory going around that ratio was sent to infiltrate the genius society (unknowingly or not) by aha and failed (aha vs erudition beef goes crazy). this isn't the first time aha's pulled this stunt, and even sparkle says something about wanting to infiltraite the genius society herself etc. a lot about how ratio is very aligned subtextually with the masked fools/aha (his colour scheme for one; that one suspicious divuni equation about the erudition+elation (the elation path as a whole...); his role in the 'mundane troubles' quest was very sparkle of him; his og design having a very obvious mask; his penacony sticker description; the fact that "allegedly" the next planet is greek inspired and who's our resident greek inspired character we virtually know nothing about?) all conjecture at this point but knowing aha. well.
What about the theory that clipoth version of preservation is building a wall that acts like a container and his power is that of transmutation because during the swarm disaster he destroyed propagation's shell and transferred him into xipe along with another aeon possibly ena. He can transfer 100% energy without causing heat waste.
I do like the theory that Qlipoth is a sort of anti-entropy being, that makes a lot of sense. The theory that he transferred Tazzy to Xipe just doesn't hold water to me. I believe there is more than one Aeon that was incorporated into Xipe - one is 100% Ena, that's made explicit in the Penacony storyline. I personally believe the other one to be Idrilla, because the thing is, as far as we've seen Aeons can only merge with another aeon if they represent adjacent concepts. So Xipe being Harmony and Ena being Order, Harmony and Order aren't that different and so the two merged. Idrilla the Beauty also merged with Harmony because in the Star Rail universe (and in our universe as well), Beauty recently shifted from a "standard" (certain skin color, hair color, eye color, etc) to an expression of harmony, regardless of the specific elements. So it would make sense that she also was integrated.
The IPC's goal being described as spreading their influence across the galaxy and to as many planets as possible reminded me of team rocket from Pokémon's mission statement thing, specifically the "to extend our reach to the stars above" part
Awesome theory! I think even the ideals of the different cornerstones (Aventurine's gambling, Jade's contracts) kind of embody the idea of Propagation in a sense. The chance to multiply your earnings to an infinite degree, collecting debts, seducing clients into a trade with the prospect of higher rewards, etc. Even looking at the quotes both Aventurine and Jade use before activating their Cornerstones don't exactly read very Preservation to me. And I appreciate how you point out the importance of the filler patches. It's kind of sad how they get dismissed so easily because they aren't mainline planet stories when they contain some of the biggest lore drops in the game lmao. Even 1.4 gave us a more in-depth explanation of heliobi and introduced us to members of the Ten-Lords Commission, both of which are important to the Xianzhou storyline, aka another contender for the second potential Aeon War with Jingliu and Luocha. Add in the fact that we now know Ruan Mei is an important figure for finding Tingyun (hopefully), I really wish Trailblaze Continuances got the appreciation they deserved. Also I'm sure you've already been told by someone else in the comments, but Aeons all go by they/them! Except for I think Idrila, who's been referred to with she/her pronouns before. Regardless, this video was great! Keep up the good work!
Yep, the abilities of the cornerstones as we know them are definitely similar to Qlipoth's abilities - at least for Aventurine. I think Jades has something to do with ANOTHER aeon that's in the mix, and I'll be making a short about that sometime very soon :) The filler patches are SO underrated, not just in a lore sense, but their stories are so compelling and fun - I'm glad more people see that, and those patches are getting the love they deserve. And yes, thank you - I put a note in the desc about the pronouns :)
They can Just have diferent Powers because they think Different imaginy energy can be shaped into any Form de user wants, and its not necessarely to follow the Path at 100% to still be a pathstrider because This is a Thing only aeons can do
18:34 OH. MY. AEON. Sure emanators are powerful but it really depends on how far you stride on their path and how one's interests aligns with an Aeon. The Stonehearts/connerstones are actually quite powerful. Knowing that the IPC doesn't align too well with Preservation, this makes sense too me now. Aventurine with the cornerstone made me think he might as well have been an emanator. I thought they were trying to create their own Aeon that embodies and implements their own idea of preservation to take on Qlipoth and use their resources they've let pile up for whatever. But this makes so much more sense to me for some reason 😭. Thank you for this!!!!!
I feel like if it's not the Propagation that they are following. It could also probably be Ena, because of the whole controlling the entire universe part. Although, the propagation idea sounds more likely, and overall cooler, since the Order already got their share in Penacony.
during your video i noticed something about the ipc, their logo looks like a bug face, and then you confirmed it by saying that the swarm infected the ten stonehearts wielders. so the ipc are lackeys of tyzzaroth no wonder qlipoth doesn't care about them ,his followers backstabbed him by taking the swarm king pieces sealed stones he threw away and used it's power along with it's infections.
@@rickelmehanwinckel2699 first qlipoth simply doesn't care, he only build walls that act like a container to the part of the universe he's trying to preserve it, even when the universe was on the verge of destruction he never acted not until ena literally inviting him and striking a deal with him in order to stop the mess called propagation, second his stonehearts are the best containers for tyzzaroth pieces even when aventurine broke his nothing ever happened besides weakening it's effects ,so basically in qlipoth eyes the ipc measures to nothing, he is ignoring them because he can't notice them.
@@homuraakemi2932 his? The ipc follows Qlipoth or not you need to decide, its Said on the game It Just one part of tazzyroth body could make the swarm disaster to erupt again so destroying It would make tazzyroth wake up and reawaken the swarm again
@@homuraakemi2932 Qlipoth do actually care about all the worlds or Belobog would't be noticed by they. Ena called they because they are the "Preservation" so they are the one that protect The universe
HOLD ON I just noticed something and it might just be a complete hallucination on my part BUT, I think that when looking at Aventurine mask when he is using his cornerstone, The design of the mask is reminiscent of the flowing drops used in the propagation path icon and the propagation adjacent dice faces. Again, I'm really grasping at straws and it's most likely a total miss on my part or, at best, a character design choice made to show the connection between the propagation and IPC.
Very interesting theory 👏👏 *SPOILER ALERT* I wouldn't be surprised if the potential next storyline leads to the swarm incident (especially gold & gears). If you go to shackling prison, you will find prisoners who call themselves "unity". Who openly declare war between inorganic life forms and living beings (various races). But the possibility of the storyline leading to the resurrection of aeons is also possible (cough *Ruan Mei), or aeon vs aeon.

Bro imagine the nickname/title 'Amber Lord' is actually talking about Tazzyronth. Qlipoth doesnt really remind me of amber, I mostly equate him with gold/earth. Your theory has ringed the alarm bells for the true reason why they refer to their Aeon as the amber lord
Something about the ipc I find really interesting is that there are two “main” branches, Oswaldo’s branch & Diamond’s branch. Oswaldo seems to ignore the preservation part of IPC while Diamond is a devotee of Qiploth (if memory serves)
There's more than that actually. Oswaldo and Diamond are the department heads we know of, but many more exist (there's someone named Madame Something-Eye that I can't recall but she's there too). Here's the thing, I think a lot of the things we've been told about Diamond are false. We assume he prioritizes preservation, but let's not forget that the missions on Belobog AND Penacony were carried out by his agents, and not only the methods used but also the underlying goals of the missions (so can't just blame it on the person acting on those planets) were severely anti-preservation. My current theory is that Diamond himself doesn't exist, or if he does, he either doesn't have NEARLY as much power as we've been told, or he's being lied to about what the stonehearts are actually doing.
@@iamemamae See, I agree with the fact the IPC as a whole has strayed from the path of the preservation. I fully expect that to be a plotline one we get to Pier Point. I have to disagree about diamond tho. He is in a weird state rn because we, as players, don’t know what he’s doing. That said, we do know that Diamond is an emanator of preservation and was able to fix Aventurine’s broken cornerstone. Now, because he fixed that cornerstone and b/c of imagery in the “cornerstone trial” video of a diamond being on a giant metal throne, so I think that Diamond is currently on the cast iron throne, or at least has access to it. We even see him tuning into the meeting in that video. I also don’t think he’s being lied to about what the stonehearts are doing by either the other nine or Tazzy because he’s been shown to be active in the stonehearts AND if Tazzy was actually in the cornerstones, Aventurine destroying his would have been a MUCH bigger issue than what it was.

Firefly is going to be fucking pissed. Also Qlipoth hyper focusing on his wall is so funny 😭

(Sorry, can’t help but trying to remember … didn’t Ruan Mei in her Trailer say something about “something something Propagation, Repopulate Permanence” or am I misremembering that?)
Propagation was a minor Path of Permanence, but it was extremely vital!
Pretty solid theory tbh
@@iamemamae always happy to share my thoughts, especially when it helps out another person!
Also, I watched the Celestia Myraid video about Ruan Mei again, she said “Dissect Remembrance, Control Equilibrium, Deconstruct Beauty, and Reproduce Permanence.”
In the IPC’s potential interest of Controlling Paths, they might soon find themselves looking into Ruan Mei’s research about Controlling Equilibrium, if not already looking into Ruan Mei herself, due to her intent of becoming an Aeon.

@@iamemamae Hell yeahhh, I'm curious about your thoughts of Voracity. Will wait for the shorts to come!

I'm so glad you enjoyed! I look forward to putting out more!
I've only watched a little bit of one piece, but I definitely see what you're saying. They're doing an INCREDIBLE job with this story!
To add more fuel to the fire, Qixing (one of the founders) is now in control of the Cast Iron Throne, the whole reason of why the IPC is so powerful economically (by having the power to generate money, thus, being able to be as greedy as you want considering that you can spawn money into your own two hands (I WANT THAT AAAAAAA))
In summary, my theory is that the IPC is more aligned with the Voracity, for just how greedily are getting the money loaned by Oswaldo's team, and Diamond is trying to get as much power inside the IPC to make an internal war to claim IPC's control (likely to get control of the Cast Iron Throne) and head it into the right direction (the Preservation instead of the Voracity).
(Sorry if my English vocabulary is lacking)
PD: You are the best lore youtuber I've ever seen, and I truly enjoy your content!
@@iamemamae There's not so much info of the Cast Iron Throne. Frankly, all the info known to this day are in Gold and Gears.
@@ThatCynicalDude Good to know where to start, though. Thanks!

Pretty much XD
Notice, I never said they DIDN'T serve Voracity :) It's just not the focus of the video
I'll be releasing a youtube short on the topic soon
I appreciate the "Emanator of Erudition" comment, thanks XD
Fair enough about wanting to be in the IPC. And hey, whether it's the Lord made of Amber or the Lord encased in Amber, it's "All for the Amber Lord" either way XD

another thing i noticed that could lead to this (might've already been mentioned) is the achievement where you get 10+ blessings of preservation in sim uni which just so happens to be called "MILLENNIUM BUG IN AMBER" (though millennium bug means computer error but still)

This is an amazing theory 😮
I have never thought of this i just think that the 10 stone hearts lead by diamond who realized the ipc is not helping their aeon so they will start a civil war in the ipc so that they can eventually win and become an ally to the trailblazers in the endgame style war that will be sure to happen againts the big bad of the story Nanook.
mmmm I honestly am not sure that Nanook is gonna be the big bad.

Yeah, I did a little research into the Kabbalah when making this, it's really fascinating!
Hey, they could be voracity AND propagation. I'm making a short about that :)
Qliphoth, champion of doing whatever the hell he wants cause hes just build better
Amazing video as always, you absolutely blew my mind Ema.

i have a few things abt the ipc
-the astral express feels like its too buddy-buddy with the ipc
-topaz is the ipc's star child, she's seen that they can do good and genuinely believe in their ability to do so despite their 'planet restoration' efforts only being ~60% successful. from the newest myriad trailer, topaz's poster looks like a recruitment poster.
-i have a feeling the aeonic war will kick off due to the actions of the IPC(they can profit off of medical aid, weaponry, defense etc).
-maybe we'll destroy the cast iron throne?
-if the ipc wants total control of the cosmos, who's to say there isn't Order lurking in the IPC(but i doubt this bc of how prevalent the order was in penacony, it feels kind of redundant)
-maybe theres enigmata thrown into the ipc since they refuse to fund any research to figure out the universe before their beloved qlipoth
-hoyo is now starting to throw in elements of voracity. in penacony theres a readable in the banquet hall of the radiant feldspar and it has a list of dishes. one of them is momentary voraciousness, if memory serves, and its written in red text. also it doesnt help that when i played SD, my first aeon encounter was ouroborous. theres a leak do to with the voracity which i will leave out(mainly bc it could be false and spoiler-y)
-why are their only 10 stones active? we know from topaz that each stone has its own gifts, what aventurine can do is different from topaz or jade, but what is preventing them from using all of them? is it because when they are all used, tazzy's coming back?
-i want to believe the astral express fights the ipc, if what you said is right, and the ipc is acting in the interest of the propagation, then the express could be something like the voracity?
EDIT
-what reason does the ipc have to research into the borisin and mecha versions of borisin. what are they trying to prepare for?
the ipc is definitely shaping up to be a bigger threat and we can't do anything to stop them right now
YES IT IS THE MINECRAFT MAN! He's so cool XD
- I agree.
@@iamemamae i cant believe i didnt think the ipc would try to destabilize the xianzhou but omg it makes so much sense, *thats* why they wanted to buy aurum alley. also the ipc trying to control the paths theory is also such a really good future plot-line, i really hope its true.
maybe we'll reach to a point where the ipc orders a hit on the astral express, or one fo our members(most-likely mc cos.. theyre the mc) to cut their losses
im only good with mcrp lore LMAO
@@its_dark_girl9811 I mean they've already acted very aggressively towards the Express on Belobog, but to be honest we were in their way.
YES. YOU GET IT. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS GOING FOR.

Big ups for saying "omg the filler patches are important"
I JUST FINISHED PLAYING THE PATCH OH MY GOODNESS
Great video as alway E^.
I like to point out 3 thing:

My GOD how can you make each theory more exciting than the last? I love this theory! But i could see the pieces being given to the higher ups, and maybe Diamond used his to create the 10 corner stones.
I mean we already know the stonehearts contain the power of an emanator, we just assumed we knew which one before it was confirmed :) :) :)
Quick theory, what if the cornerstones are the 'amber' the propagation is held in and 'amber' isn't meant to be taken literally

I WOULD IF I COULD!
(Spoilers for 2.5)
I see a lot of people speculating Voracity but honestly Propagation is extremely interesting, it brings up a lot of questions like why they would seek the Propagation, these insects are gigantic locusts with zero self control that constantly multiply.
Bruh what if the stone peices are low key part of the propagation that would be crazy.

(That being it was an orb and larvae.)
Light Cones are unique, in that they're merely solidified memories, which implies every image has been seen, whether in dreams or in reality.
It has been seen that this prison also exists physically, as we know Fu Xuan has seen a piece of it.
Something's odd there.
your theories are always so interesting. any thoughts about the worm theory? (ie. ratio's relationship with the noblesse worm and aha)
uh.....what?
@@iamemamae haha yes definitely the appropriate first impression. idk all the details but generally there's a theory going around that ratio was sent to infiltrate the genius society (unknowingly or not) by aha and failed (aha vs erudition beef goes crazy). this isn't the first time aha's pulled this stunt, and even sparkle says something about wanting to infiltraite the genius society herself etc. a lot about how ratio is very aligned subtextually with the masked fools/aha (his colour scheme for one; that one suspicious divuni equation about the erudition+elation (the elation path as a whole...); his role in the 'mundane troubles' quest was very sparkle of him; his og design having a very obvious mask; his penacony sticker description; the fact that "allegedly" the next planet is greek inspired and who's our resident greek inspired character we virtually know nothing about?) all conjecture at this point but knowing aha. well.
17:32 Ema would make a great Nous follower
I'm an Emanator of Paradox. I can be anything :)
14:15 Team rocket?
heh?
I think Jades has something to do with ANOTHER aeon that's in the mix, and I'll be making a short about that sometime very soon :)
The filler patches are SO underrated, not just in a lore sense, but their stories are so compelling and fun - I'm glad more people see that, and those patches are getting the love they deserve.
And yes, thank you - I put a note in the desc about the pronouns :)
They can Just have diferent Powers because they think Different imaginy energy can be shaped into any Form de user wants, and its not necessarely to follow the Path at 100% to still be a pathstrider because This is a Thing only aeons can do
@@rickelmehanwinckel2699 I mean, they don't HAVE to have the same power, but it's interesting that they appear linked.
18:34 OH. MY.

@@Pointbreak435 I love him so much - Aventurine is by far my favorite. Mans deserves the best, most peaceful life ever.
I feel like if it's not the Propagation that they are following.
It could also probably be Ena, because of the whole controlling the entire universe part.
Although, the propagation idea sounds more likely, and overall cooler, since the Order already got their share in Penacony.
It's almost 100% not Ena, because of everything we saw on Penacony. Maybe we'll get some evidence to the contrary in the future, though. We'll see.

during your video i noticed something about the ipc, their logo looks like a bug face, and then you confirmed it by saying that the swarm infected the ten stonehearts wielders. so the ipc are lackeys of tyzzaroth no wonder qlipoth doesn't care about them ,his followers backstabbed him by taking the swarm king pieces sealed stones he threw away and used it's power along with it's infections.
If that was true why Qlipoth Just don't Destroy ipc and take the corpse It they?
@@rickelmehanwinckel2699 first qlipoth simply doesn't care, he only build walls that act like a container to the part of the universe he's trying to preserve it, even when the universe was on the verge of destruction he never acted not until ena literally inviting him and striking a deal with him in order to stop the mess called propagation, second his stonehearts are the best containers for tyzzaroth pieces even when aventurine broke his nothing ever happened besides weakening it's effects ,so basically in qlipoth eyes the ipc measures to nothing, he is ignoring them because he can't notice them.

SEE, UR NOT WRONG??? It might be a bit of a stretch, but there's definitely some similarities worth paying attention to there.
Very interesting theory 👏👏
*SPOILER ALERT*
I wouldn't be surprised if the potential next storyline leads to the swarm incident (especially gold & gears).
