Im always surprised at how much lore is hidden behind these small texts, it's a shame so many people don't read them. Thank you for the vid, it's nice to have all the current known info about borisins in one single place!
Borisin being a mongol equivalent of this game seems like an overlooked detail. Their vicinity to the chinese luofu in the game certainly helps, along with the details of a sky deity, nomad pastural life and conquest. Though that Mihoyo isn't the most sensitive when incorporating real-life equivalents (adventurine) is also a topic that needs discussion
lol Hoyo is desperately trying to be western, gay and judeo-christian in everything they do and you *STILL* make things up to hate on them. Aventurine wasn't "insensitive", he was put up on a pedestal in VERY forgiving way. The real insensitivity is you not forgiving them for the crime of being Chinese.
Ok but the amount of details you explain things into, is amazing to say the atleast somehow you sooo talented that for the lore videos tou make from the images provided to the background to the lore and to the proof of the lore is all high quality like I love it when lore has proof and pics to it and it's exactly what you do and the way you explained the relationship between lBorisin and Foxian is amazing like now I don't have to check if the video you have posted is in my interest or not because I already know even if you picked up a topic it becomes naturally interesting and because my exams for now are over I've love to once again take a deep dive in Hsr's lore because I absolutely love it specially when you explain it❤❤🙃
This may be completely out of nowhere but does anyone else see similarities between what happened on Sigonia and with the Old Verdant Home? Like- -Two main factions: one known for intelligence and art related culture and the other known for their strength - both being the only cultures (as far as I know) to worship a god other than the aeons - harsh living conditions leading to enmity between each clan - went to a third, more powerful party (the IPC/Yaoshi) to ask for assistance, which ended up worsening the situation overall - the clan valuing strength ending up crushing the other, leading to the weaker clan being slaughtered and enslaved
You can even compare Kakavasha and Jiaoqiu with the state of the story quest atm (spoilers). Both are isolated amongst their enemies at the moment. They’re both trapped by the very people that condoned enslaving them. (Since it was heavily implied the IPC supported enslaving Kakavasha). And now both are resorting to trickery and manipulation as a survival tactic.
With the 2.4 story continuance out (SPOILERS BTW), the idea of the Borisin having a form more akin to Foxians *is* possible, as shown by the trailing segment with Yanqing, Yunli, and March 7th. However, it's implied that the form you see in battle is their actual form since Mok Tok mentions a pill that allows them to blend in with Foxians momentarily. The mech we run into while dealing with Skott (the one about cargo, we see him again with March 7th's training arc) seems to resemble the aforementioned mecha-beasts used by the Borisin, as well as appearing in cargo crates AGAIN in the Shackling Prison, most likely being a part of the 'army' that Mok Tok mentioned earlier. It's mentioned they're made with 'wetware', which is a mix of technology and biological tissue, so they likely are an altered form of the mecha-beasts or a replica made by the Intelligensia Guild. That's all I have to say, sorry about the rant.
AFTER 2.5 MY THEORY SHIT WAS CONFIRMED (SPOILERS) Anyways we get extra lore about these guys: Foxians officially also have a sort of "Mara" known as moon rage, although it seems to be demonstrated onscreen via Feixiao's sickness and the bites from the borisin. This means that borisin and Foxians both have latent transformative DNA of some kind that activates under certain conditions- which is most likely activated by those previous conditions. It's implied the pills work to sort of reverse this form temporarily- which implies that the genes are relatively irreversible once activated. However, it seems the borisin activate these genes more easily than Foxians, as they have shown to have better control and weaponize their forms. Whether or not using the pills on an ex-Foxian will return them to a state of "sanity" again is unclear. The machines used in the attack most likely were initially uninvolved- the DNA must have been activated by the borisin and used accordingly after realizing how useful they might be. The mechanic foxian might have been a borisin in disguise, for all we know.
I'm pretty sure there's technically one more thing that Foxians received is that they give off pheromones that they can use to create illusions. No idea how that works, but it's there apparently.

The Borisin sounds like a disgusting combination of Werewolf, Troll and mad scientist. So they might be one of the hardest enemies the trailblazers may have to face 😮
What gets me is that as much as they look like terrifying monsters they're literally people (and smart ones at that) and people are the scariest of all...
Borisin POV equation lore in divergent universe is also awfully graphic. I don't understand why people want to play as sadistic beasts who literally enjoy murdering living things as gruesomely as possible. Antimatter legion and borisin seem dangerous, but the real fun shall begin when HoYo get Sky People out of their sleeves. Imagine civilization that already conquered countless others worlds when dinosaurs still walked Earth and hides it's existence from other civilizations even when attacking them. That's Venusian aka Sky People, 250 millions years old civilization that use body snatching robots to sabotage all planetary defence of their victim, shoot planet with huge meteor and then come to ravage ruined world that doesn't even suspect artificial origin of their calamity.
I don't remember anything mentioned Hanunue to have any like Moon Rage, so I think he's not a borisin? Although werewolf still implies transforming, which makes them feel very similar. I'd like it more if werewolf means naturally born anthropomorphic wolf in hsr... Anyway playable borisin/werewolf when?
@@Josh-qt5zi I wouldn't discount the idea entirely, unlike the Antimatter legion, the denizens of abundance can be reasoned with or at least can be convinced to take certain courses of action, an example of this is Xili who was a wingweaver that the ten lords commission convinced to attack the borisin in exchange for their clans safety. So it's not impossible that there exists borisin who don't agree with or like how their society and religion operates. The theory of the Foxian having achieved reincarnation and having some relation to the Vidhraya would explain a bit about Bailu and Baiheng's relationship, or am I overthinking it?
Nah I don't think so. @@LalodysLore I've seen your other theories and I love them, I'm just saying that maybe because they were aware of this resemblance between Foxians and Viridahya, they chose Baiheng when creating Bailu because of her relationship with Dan Fenge, and because his abstinence and sin was perfect to cover it up. Its funny how people ask Yaoshi for something > she gives it to them > then people are pissed off af 🤬 I find it fascinating how Yaoshi is one of the most hated antagonists in this universe because Xianzhou hates her and chasing her through universe destroying eveything she touched, while all she did is gave Xianzhou people what they asked. It's funny how even in the game dialogues xianzhou people doesn realize all contradictions of their hateress. Millenias ago their people were looking for Yaoshi to ask her for eternal life and when she gave it to them, they were devastated. And let it sink to your mind - super developed nation was able to build starships with one goal to find Yaoshi, but was not able to come into very common conclusion that everything comes with a price. So I see it this way: Yaoshi was minding her own business > Xianzhou people found her and asked her for immortality > she gave them what they've asked for > now they hate her and making henocide on any planet where they smell traces of Yaoshi. This is also funny because Xianzhou people are kinda good guys, but I see that that them and their Aeon is doing henocide all the time and nobody cares (e.g. when Lan destroyed whole planet because they were infected by Yaoshi). Any time i raise this topic, i get so much hate from xianzhou fans thats crazy 😅
You're very right. Yaoshi is one of the more likeable aeons and all of the flaws with their blessings seem to stem from mortal flaws, not the blessing themselves. The fact that mara is a Xianzhou secret tells us it's not a natural outcome for long lifes but something to do with Xianzhou culture, otherwise it couldn't be a secret. I think Lan is easily one of the worst aeons morally so it feels very backwards. To be honest, same with Ena - they are one of the best aeons morally but are currently demonized in the story. I think we will see them positively later on as the story progresses.
Yaoshi brings Illness and Destruction as well as help and healing they are not all kind they look like nurgle. And lan also brings Salvation through hunt
monkey’s paw effect, I feel like yoashi operates on genie logic and is maliciously compliant with wishes only to vanish and move on to the next sucker.
From my pov, Yaoshi's actions are akin to a doctor giving out a prescription without telling them the risks. Sure, the ancient Xianzhou people are to blame. But those guys are either dead or mara-striken. So the only reasonable thing is to stop Yaoshi from spreading their uncertain blessing. Also while I'm at it, Yaoshi is biased af. The Borisins got all the cool stuff while the Foxians got uh.... run faster and jump higher?
If the Xianzhou are like the Eldar, then the Borisin are pretty much an unholy mishmash of the White Scars, the Death Guard, the Space Wolves and the Orks
If I'm recalling correctly, the pacifist faction of Borisin - the Claretwheel Temple - is too young to be Hanunue's origin story (unless a LOT of wacky time dilation/FTL travel/black hole physics? are involved). Their existence DOES makes the "Borisin Hanunue" theory less cracky, if still unlikely when other human-canid subspecies DO exist. It would be pretty interesting if Hanu WAS a Borisin, one who refused to participate in their atrocities & turned "traitor". The conclusion to the War Dance arc ended up resolving some of the tension leftover from Topaz's attempted take-over of Belebog so it's definitely possible that a special connection between the Xianzhou & Penacony will be made too (eventually). I'm keen to see how the different "moondrinkers" will end up connected - Dan Feng's time in the Shackling Prison DOES have some overlap with Hoolay's, though it's unlikely they'd have ever met. There are a LOT of surface-level similarities between Hoolay and Blade. It wouldn't surprise me if Borisin (or their biology) were involved with the Sedition. Did Dan Feng attempt to give his dragon &/or Yingxing "Moon Rage", to REALLY get that Immortal Tree cut down? Would HoYo REALLY miss an easy opportunity to make a cheesy werewolf reference amidst their existent moon people (Dan Feng & Yingxing) and moon rabbit ones (Lingsha)? Then there's the way that the Claretwheel Temple questline tied Gold & Gears back into the "present". With Sampo, Svarog & a cure to the Anti-Organic Equation already positioned for Belebog... all we need is to get Dr Ratio & Screwllum there to REALLY kick things off. Clara, Luka & the Claretwheel Temple all seem like organics well-suited to work with Screwllum in order to represent how to resolve the samsara of [Gold&Gears] for good. Maybe Ratio will even get an Aeonhood out of it (whether he wants it or not)!
Which of the sources in the description contains the stuff about Foxians being turned into powerful warriors by the Borisin and were controlled with their birdile? I read the Borisin lore on the wiki not long ago and it wasn't there. Is it on a relic?

Hear me out tho...
ur videos are amazing. are you ashikai of hsr? 🦇
Love your videos keep on cooking 😂😂😂
I def plan to
It makes me wonder if there was ever a time where the Denizens of Abundance fought for supremacy against the Borisin
Which of the sources in the description contains the stuff about Foxians being turned into powerful warriors by the Borisin and were controlled with their birdile?
I read the Borisin lore on the wiki not long ago and it wasn't there. Is it on a relic?
Duran's Mechabeast Bridle!
@@LalodysLore Okay thanks
Everything can be found in game. The planar spheres/ropes and books found throughout the world are a great source
They do the L4D hunter leap and i think its funny
One small unrelated question, did Xueyi also “die from lux’s arrow or was that a different situation?
Nope she died to Shuhu 1800 years ago on Cangcheng. Same event from Jingliu backstory.

Ok but when are we getting real furry Borisin characters?
These new furries might make me pay attention to the xianzhou story more 🤣
Yaoshi: helps
Borisins: create a cult around aome arrogant random borisin, enslave foxians and blame it on Yaoshi (as if THEY would ever be pro slave culture), f ck around and find out
Borisins: ask Yaoshi to fix their mess again
Yaoshi: doesn't respond
Borisins: 😮 pickachu face
Yeah... it's "really hard" to see that coming 😊
