I don't think enough videos about Planaria explain why you need to siphon out as many possible before treating. Simple but effective siphon technique just leave the bag in the sump and siphon away. Great informative video on dealing with Planaria.
I have a bunch of very small white tube looking things with red feather duster looking tips that pop out, Any ideas if it will be similar with a mass die off? Do you get infestations of red feather dusters?
Thanks for watching. The tank behind Kelly here is the Innovative Marine 50 Gallon EXT Lagoon lit with a Kessil AP700. Check it out below. mdshop.us/2CTeWg7 mdshop.us/2r19L3e
Yes but not the eggs! Quarantine and dip at least one more time before adding to main tank. I generally dip after purchase put in quarantine and dip again before adding to tank. Scrub the plug or hard shell of coral if possible while dipping each time.
Hey where were you guys at MACNA? I saw a booth, I saw a banner, but that's it... nada, no people, no table, no button for me to put on my badge! tsk tsk.
Thanks for asking sir. We were at MACNA collecting content and meeting with industry friends. We were not an exhibitor, simply an advertisement. Appreciate you stopping by, let us know anytime if you have questions.

would of been nice if she was knowledgeable enough to know it by heart instead of clearly reading of something just spouting back others knowledge just like a petstore thumbs down

Thank you young lady for this very informative video - I will use the tube with a filter mesh into the sump to rid my tank of these vermin! :-)
I had to manually remove them from my tank.. just got a pipette and sucked them out when I saw them.
This is a crucial part of the process and I am glad to hear you were able to effectively remove them from your system.
Will coral rx remove them before adding the coral to your tank?
