After a week travelling along the West Coast of France, starting just below Bordeaux at Biscarosse. We arrived on the Ile D'Oleron and falling in love with the island very quickly, we decided to extend our stay. This vlog will show you exactly why we did!

Thanks for the tip - I'm on Oleron tomorrow on a cycling trip and hadn't planned on visiting Chateau D'Oleron, but now I'm definitely going!

Isn’t it a bargain! We were quite happy paying that 🤣 Needless to say I had to stay in and drink cheap wine because it wasn’t free 🤣 The oysters weren’t cheap either (luckily for me I’m not a seafood person so I’m a cheap date)!
@@menopausalmotorhomer staying in the van and drinking cheap wine (or beer, or vodka or whatever...) is story of our lives 😂 Yeah I bet the oysters were pricey, it annoys me a bit because I feel like the image around them has created that. Think I'll have to find my own! 😁
@comealongdear Much cheaper here in the south of France - we saw 6 for €10 here the other day. You pay that for one on Oleron 😳
