Just so you know - I now got a msg on youtube to contact you on telegram - let us chat, it - it said. I turned it off. I know this is a scam, but just wanted to let you know. Hugs from me in Sweden!
I never comment on youtube vids but I have to say I'm very impressed with how Lou's composition, editing and storytelling skills have come on leaps and bounds since I started watching the channel. Keep up the great work.
Honestly this is my favourite channel for van life, content and cinematography is second to none x enjoy your reservations l travels and I look forward to the next installment :)
I truly loved the Soundtrack edition. "Desnail" what a word! Descaracolizar in Spanish. Two Min Tour should become a National Sport. Imagine to be celebrating your team winning something and finding these two girls jumping by your side... What a day!!! ¡PURA VIDA!!
La Rochelle is actually quite nice. I developed a hatred for that place after years of hearing about it in my GCSE French. Glad you no longer have a sandy fanny, sand gets everywhere. Louise I feel your pain, sunstroke is horrible. Great video ladies, constantly laughing out loud. 😊👍😊
Spent most of this half term binge watching. All I can say is OMG the pair of you are brilliant. So much useful information. Love the 2 minute review on campsites. Love the bite size fun facts and even useful advice with animals to electrics. Even having Mum having a go has boosted my confidence. Have to say the bee 🐝 comment was so funny as that would be me. Great content and look forward to the next one. In the meantime I have a lot of liking buttons to press.
You all just crack me up😂 I adore the banter between you because it's filled with love and respect any honor of letting the other person be their own person. Being conscious of that vibration frequency thing is so important because most people are clueless and that sometimes makes navigating through the world as individuals experiencing the same trip so to speak and at the same time having completely different experiences😂 ladies it doesn't get any better than that❤ I sure wish I could convince you all and the puppy dog and the kitty cat to come over to the US hang out in my home give it a little bit of love maybe a slap a paint here and there and hang out along the side of the Wilderness and go play in it till your heart's content❤ the van build-out continues❤❤
Hi Emily & Louise, We absolutely loved watching your video of you camping in the Charente-Maritime. We used to live there , right in the area you were in this video. We know the beach where you camped in the small car park where the snails are and smiled to see you sweeping the beach out of your van. We used to sweep it out of our cars too,. The Lidl supermarket was our local one, we lived yards away from there. The Ile d'Oleron is fabulous . Those coloured wooden huts at Chateau d'Oleron are traditional oyster producer's huts that have been renovated and people use them for shops and businesses. Enjoy the rest of your holiday.
At 2:48 Emily is sitting below the statue of Guy-Victor Duperré missing a perfect opportunity for telling us a fun fact. Duperré was a french admiral and minister but he also was the father of Laure Duperré who was a favorite pupil of Chopin. Chopin dedicated his Nocturnes Op. 48 No. 1 in C minor and Op. 48 No. 2 in F# minor to Laure Duperré. Today there are thousands of copies of the score around the world and everybody wonders who this lady was. The secret is revealed in La Rochelle.
AJ is the cutest & smart dog, he knows who Mummy is & off for a walk on the beach!! Loving this adventure in France & that Island featuring lifestyle via bicycles.....it was amazing!! 😁 France does cater for tourists & Vanlifers, wonderful & great tour Emily!! 👍💜💜
Île d'Oléron is our most favourite place in France - we love it. I'm not sure I should tell you (as you'll no doubt have moved on) but La Cotiniere has THE best ice cream parlour we've been to in France! Great vlog - thanks.
This video is such an example of just going with the flow....how cool that you got to see the people in the streets celebrating the rugby. What a stunning island. I have only recently learned about it and then you guys are doing a vlog about it. It looks gorgeous.
I’ve been watching you for the last year or so myself and the wife she thinks you’re both hilarious. Keep up the good work just in the process of making a small weekend van out of a Vauxhall vivaro Hopefully it will be ready this coming summer. Keep up the good work girls. Many thanks for many laughs so far. Thanks again Brian and Joanne Manchester❤
The Île d’Oleron is lovely. It’s also reached from the mainland by a toll free bridge. The charge for crossing to the Île de Ré is quite steep. I see both islands regularly but normally only from the sea. I sail from La Rochelle.
I’m from Leinster 😭😭 But the craic did look excellent in La Rochelle! Think that might have been a barrel jelly fish Emily, we get them washed up here too … no idea how bad the sting would be but the fright hitting it would get me alone 😂
Told you that rugby was a good point of interest in France. Every town and village is fanatical about the team AND want to show a good time to visitors 🏉👌👍💙❤️
Never mind Camper Vibe. It's more like Morecambe and Wise on tour! Anyway you put a smile on my face. Great vlog ladies as usual enjoy the rest of your tour.
I want to travel "that way" cause it's the most practical way to travel and bring the kitties along for the ride. Can't really leave them somewhere, one of them suffers from separation anxiety from me having an unexpected hospital stay. Also helps to not be depending upon what accommodations the local area has,
It's a pity that Brexit bollocksed up the pet passport. It was so easy to decide to jump in the van and take the tunnel south but now you need to plan a bit more in advance and definitely pay out a lot more. I must investigate getting an Irish one.
The nuisance of time lines and delays. I live an hour up the coast from La Rochelle and would have liked to say hi. In fact, I was probably within 20-30 feet of you during the La Rochelle V Leinster rugby match. Nevermind, safe travels 😁
You 2 are sooooo GORGEOUS AND INSPIRATIONAL 💕 *absolutely love your attitudes and SoH & your closeness💕 (& your beautiful +2, your fabulous furry/fluffy duo🐶🐱) Thank you for sharing all your amazing adventures - 9/10 of your episodes, leave me in stitches. Keep these video’s coming ladies xx Big huge Safe Adventuring hugs to the 4 of you xxx
That was one of your best, I think. Just a great vibe and that part of France looks terrific. The colouring seems different, really nice, or is that the colour of France? Maybe my monitor. Oh when Lou saved all the snails from the van - that was a relief to know they weren't getting squashed. Croissant dipped in coffee, must try that. You both looked pretty much sunburnt and I hope the aftermath didn't get too bad. AJ is so good with meeting dogs, he's a great dog. Take care and hope you're both well..
I was quite surprised that niether of you two complained of being 'saddle sore' after such a long bike-ride. it looked fun though. I remember my younger days of bike rides and being outdoors. Hi Guys - great vlog. Have you used your new awning yet? Thought it might have been out in the campsite shots but didn't appear to be. That island you stayed on looked fabulous. Emily I do hope you are playing Baz Luhrmann - Everybody's free to Lou. I am sure she will appreciate it 😜 Hope Joanie is coping ok in the heat - it's hard going when it is super hot and living in a van. Safe travels. Emma

Hello, I enjoy your videos. I can understand a fear of jellyfish but there are no deadly jellyfish off the coast of France. Portuguese man o war can sting but usually use their inflatable mantles as sails and thus CAN be seen and avoided. Should you be stung by an errant jellyfish, vinegar and baking soda provide much better sting relief than pee. I’m from Florida and would avoid swimming off the French coast based on water temps alone. If you use a wet suit you are protected from jellyfish AND cold water!
Love love loving this new video you two, thank you! I'm a new subscriber so hi! La Rochelle looks sooo nice and I'm really excited that it is only about two hours away from Poitiers. I went there years ago, loved it and want to go with my husband when we start our mororhome adventure, not till 2028 but nothing like having a plan!🤣
Hi Louise and Emily, once again really enjoyed your travels around France. It looks like a lovely area. I really enjoyed you guys going out on your bikes. it looks like a lot of fun. But I must say Louise, you really need to get creamed up!! Maybe Emily could help you with that🤣!!!! before you go out on that bike again. And when you're walking, you should know better.☹️ Love you guys, take care. I'm looking forward to the next one❤👍 Steve from sunny Wales 🏴

Can only echo that. Was thinking exactly the same myself. Top job! 👏🏻
Hope Joanie is ok , missed seeing her this week, and Lou I can sympathise , sunstroke is horrible 🤪

You take such incredible care of AJ. Lovers of doggos are ALWAYS the best people!
Most, if not all , of the province of Munster, Ireland, were cheering on La Rochelle due to their manager being the Munster Goat, Ronan O'Gara .
Really?
Funny when you mentioned GCSE French. Exactly why I know of La Rochelle too, and I failed badly!
