      Do yourself and the tattoo community a favour, go look for an experienced artist that is willing to give you a proper apprenticeship learn properly from a professional and you will also earn respect from respected artists.
      This was a sacred community help keep it that way.
      Its great to see so many people wanting to be a part of the industry but do it properly you will thank yourself.

    I've been waiting ages for a stippling video like this, thanks for the sacrificial offering of the leg. You literally put your blood, sweat and tears into this channel. I find that setting the depth and riding the tube during stippling helps a lot to control the depth of the needle during the rapid hand movements.

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  3 роки тому

      LOL no problem im happy to give up a little leg space. And your right you can bring the needles in a little bit and ride to tube as it can help keep a more consistant depth as well, again assuming the needle depth is set right. Thanks again man appreciate the support!! 🤘🤘

    I really appreciate these videos that you make. I live in a small town in the mountains where there's no one to really apprentice under... The more I read online The More I got discouraged due to the gatekeeping surrounding tattooing, but then I found your videos! I ordered a machine and a whole bunch of stuff that you recommended along with a whole bunch of fake skin and the passion for learning to tattoo is back!!! So just kind of wanted to say thank you for being so open to teach people like me the basics so we can start learning about tattooing in a safer way. Really appreciated, and I look forward to all of your videos!

    Great stuff and insightful as usual brother. Thanks for sharing the tricks of the trade.
    I hate when people learn from others and then hoard information so others don’t learn. I’ve had that happen many times when people ask me for tattoo advice, shading coloring etc, and then turn around and tell me, “Dude man, I can’t share that, my mentor told me to never share my techniques.”
    Flabargasting, but very real. What comes around goes around the-way-of-the-Universe!

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  2 роки тому +1

      You can Stipple with almost any needle. Liners, Round shaders, and with Mags. its all about getting the needles to skip across the skin like a stone on water leaving little dots as it goes. And this can be done again with almost any needle configuration. Hope this helps and thanks for watching and supporting the channel! 🤘🙏🤘

    Would this cause trama to the skin because you'd be slightly ripping and pulling the skin?

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  3 роки тому

      It may tug a little at times depending upon hand speed and voltage but not really any serious trama.

    i am subscribed. quick question about this. how is the needle depth? Do you wip it like you are lining just a bit faster? or does it just barely touching the skin?

    Whats the best way to tattoo fingers and hands?

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  3 роки тому

      Fingers and hands are tough as the tattoo fades fastest on hands and feet. (those areas used A LOT). So you have to push the depth a bit but not to deap as to blow the line out. And when saturating color or strait black ensure you getting a very good saturation as again these parts can fade quick. This is just my thoughts on it and im sure other may have different opinions.

    Hey I’ve had the same machine as you for while now and it’s worked great until recently it’s been making a horrible sound and bogging down the needle and I was trying to break it down to see if it the bad but I can’t get the part we’re the battery pack plugs into loose , I was hoping you can give me advice how to get it loose or fix it maybe ? Thanks for all you videos tho man much appreciated
