You are Malfurion Stormrage, arch druid of the Night Elves and protector of Kalimdor. A great prophecy has foretold the return of the Burning Legion, who seek to destroy Azeroth once and for all.
For 10,000 years you have roamed the Emerald Dream, awaiting the day for your return to lead your people against the demons. However, you feel that the world has changed much during your absence. Despite Nordrassil being heavily guarded and Illidan the Betrayer sealed deep within his prison, you sense something terribly wrong that threatens your people's survival from the coming invasion.
Your mind is left in doubt, and the Prophecy's fulfillment draws near. Will you make sacrifices to ensure Azeroth's survival from the Burning Legion? Find out as you play Malfurion's Quest, the epic finale in Turnro's series of Warcraft 3 campaigns. - Ігри
To think this whole series of events started because lord uther turned himself into a chicken and a paladin had to smash up an entire farm to kill him

The whole story of this campaign is hard to believe. Why does furion suddenly go crazy for no reason and drink from that fountain's water even though he KNOWS it is corrupted.
@@seppwurzel8212 I mean, there are plans to a good path. The reason Malfurion drinks it is because in this universe he sees the Legion destroying everything and the Night Elves couldn't stop it...
So he gains a little voice that doubts the Night Elves powers and then he comes across a Well with great power. Malfurion either listens to his paranoia and drinks it out of fear or he destroys it believing that Night Elves can stand against Legion.

Its kind of Funny since the writter decided to kill arthas in the previous campaign and thought that nobody would notice how this Furion shares a lot with evil arthas

I think Magtheridon was the MVP in this mission. Also it was funny how Malfurion pulled the Finger of Death out of nowhere and one-shotted Faradrella.

Considering this is the bad guy ending path, you'll likely won't be getting what you desire.
The writers are laser focused on making Malfurion an evil unstoppable force. I have my doubts though as the actual writer told another user that this is the "Fallen Malfurion" story.
I have played this game until the end and guess what? Malfurion and his army will be the only ones left alive at the end of this campaign. He will simply slaughter everything and everyone. This campaign doesn't have any good ending. Even the dragon aspects will be slain by Malfurion.

It is more than a joke. In Warcraft lore, Elune is Cenarius's mother, but after he is brought to existence, Elune realizes that he mostly belongs to the mortal world rather than divine. So the lover of his father( the stag demigod Malorn), Ysera becomes Cenarius's adoptive mother and takes care of him until he grows up. (This explains Cenarius's powerful connection to the emerald dream that comes from Ysera the dreamer herself). I do believe here the mother is in reference to Ysera
( whom Medivh is trying to save by performing the ritual). Also, later in this campaign, in the final mission, Ysera says that the guardian saved her from a demon , which confirms this idea (although it is never mentioned that who this demon that had latched himself to her actually was.)
Ysera is Cenarius mother but i forgot how many times they retconned that, so Turnro is prob referencing that

One big criticism I have of this part is just how easy it was for Malfurion to take Ysera's heart, you'd expect Cenarius to protect it with dear life since it holds the entire balance of the land, or at the very least he could've put a fake artifact to trick Malfurion.
Instead it's just protected by one puny general, not even Medivh. Pah, really disappointing.
Maybe they weren't fast enough to reach the artifact before Malfurion does.

arthas is also a shame to his people since he was once paladin crown prince and next future king of lordaeron after he became corrupted by frostmourne to kill mal'ganis to save his kingdom and people but after he killed mal'ganis with frostmourne he killed his father terenas mentor uther and people and destroyed his kingdom and destroyed kingdoms of quel'thalas and dalaran.
After playing through this I want to see how different the good path will be....
if i had to take a guess i would say its prob insanely boring with Malfurion going around fighting the demons that were destroyed in the portal explosion (Jaraxxus, Varimathras etc) in this path.

Ok, removing the Ion Cannon was the last straw. Bad desicion after bad descion... I initially had hope for this series but time after time its shown that they haven't learned a thing, especially after the actual writer decided to interpret my criticisms as insults. Decent gameplay weighed down by a terrible story. #FireTheWriter
Many seem to overlook the essence of the story, and perhaps you’re among them. Remember, this is an alternate universe-a realm never intended for solemn scrutiny. Each campaign carries its unique twist. It’s easy to criticize from the safety of your comfort zone.
I didn’t perceive your critique as “insults” (lol), but it seems that’s your assumption. Let’s not misinterpret my previous comment. I responded because, in every video, you consistently voiced negativity. Yet, this fan-made campaign contributes free content to Warcraft III.
Remember, some content aligns with your taste, while others don’t. It’s evident in your case. Our purpose isn’t to please everyone; we hold a vision, a tale, hard work, and gameplay elements.

You then sarcastically asked about my own projects, the intention clearly being you trying to see if my own ideas were worse than yours and you then mentioned how nothing I said perturbed you despite that never being my intention. Your every interaction with me had been one of getting defensive and insecure. My criticisms until now have been negative but constructive because I had hope you would see it and try to improve because I genuinely wanted these campaigns to get better. But I now see you're just egotistical, "it''s not that it's bad it's just that people don't understand", no it's bad. Being an alternate universe doesn't mean you can just throw away every but if established lore, especially when Rowan the Wise was the apparent divergence point, a goofy campaign that shouldn't be canon to this timeline for the sole reason of being a parody that you yourself said shouldn't be taken seriously. If it's a parody, why is it apart of your canon? The Legion became an afterthought despite being the big bad villans since Jeopardy of the Horde. The pacing was horribly slow at first, then rushed for the portal, then slowed back to a crawl with pointless plot twists that ultimately added nothing to the story beyond showing that Malfurion was evil, something that was already painfully obvious. When every twist is "person betraying other person" it's not a twist, it's predictable. You became so focused on showing how evil Malfurion has become that you lost sight of the original goal you put into everyone's head: Malfurion fighting the Legion. And when people mention this, did you go, oh maybe I could have done that differently? No. You patronize the most vocal of your critics instead. This mentality is exactly why many projects fail, because the writers let their ego get in the way. My criticisms have been negative, but that doesn't mean they're wrong, if you can't take criticism than I suggest you stop writing all together. I once had hope for these projects, but not anymore.

I did not intentionally implant any specific ideas in the players’ minds. The story unfolded as planned-an alternate timeline featuring an Evil Malfurion within a fan-made canon narrative, complete with twists both foreseeable and unexpected. I harbor no desire to compete for the title of ‘best’ storyteller; such claims were never made, nor have I compared my work to others’. Myself and Turnro are just two guys trying provide entertainment and somewhat something new wrapped in War3 gameplay.
If you wanna see Malfurion's struggle against the legion, then you'd have to wait and see if it's worth when the campaign is 100% complete and both story paths are released.
Your assessment, however, seems rooted in your own imaginative lens. And truly, that’s acceptable.
You keep commenting about " the writer this, the writer that", you keep hounding bad writing and stupid characters and you try to hide all of this under "constructive criticism" and then you act bothered and call me "insecure" because I've thrown a bit of sarcastic shade at you.
Now you write a novel to try and prove that you're right against me whereas, besides my sarcastic comment, I simply gave you more context and now you're using that in another comment by stating your last "straws" because you don't have the spells you want and the writer is horrible because he didn't take your criticism and left a sarcastic comment to yours.
Regarding criticism, I must clarify: out of the numerous individuals who downloaded and played ‘Malfurion’s Quest,’ or any other campaigns throughout all these years each shared both positive and negative feedback.
Curiously, you stand alone in accusing me of an inability to accept criticism and being insecure, largely based on assumptions sprung from my comment towards you as I tried to give you a bit more context to everything since you seemed emotionally involved in writing your comments and I would've rathered prefered if you were less upset.
My error, perhaps-I find myself investing as much time in this discourse as you do in critiquing and setting expectations for others’ work.
