You are Malfurion Stormrage, arch druid of the Night Elves and protector of Kalimdor. A great prophecy has foretold the return of the Burning Legion, who seek to destroy Azeroth once and for all.
For 10,000 years you have roamed the Emerald Dream, awaiting the day for your return to lead your people against the demons. However, you feel that the world has changed much during your absence. Despite Nordrassil being heavily guarded and Illidan the Betrayer sealed deep within his prison, you sense something terribly wrong that threatens your people's survival from the coming invasion.

@@notshockwavedemon7543 Dang, I remember reading somewhere that Pit Lords are very intelligent beings despite their preferences in cleaving their enemies directly hence their position in the Legion being just above the Dreadlords.
But yea, the Pit Lord's decision in this campaign weren't that smart. Too bad the author turned him into yet another betrayer which is unnecessary imo.
You might not gonna believe but Kazzak and Malfurion shares the same voice actor. I used Izual's voice from Diablo 2.
His voice alongside Azshara's are the best imo.
Medivh has no one to blame but himself for what is about to transpire.
The guy has zero tactical skills.

I'll admit I was really rooting for Magtheridon. I like how his character build up from being bullied and kicked out of his citadel to drinking the blood of Shan'do through Velinde and besting Kazzak.He is the underdog in the whole series. I was hoping that his character would last much longer and have more airtime.
Nice, a fellow Mag supporter. I wish he survived till the end so he can become the true president of Outland for the demoncratic Legion.
Imo the author turning him into yet another betrayer in the last seconds is an unnecessary move and even just silly. The Pit Lord's goal is to rule Outland unchallenged, free of Kil'jaeden's meddling and leave Azeroth forever so it doesn't make sense if Magtheridon suddenly wish to seek the artifact and sought to claim greater power all of the sudden.
Same, i wanted him to survive this and appear in other campaigns.
@@peoplesaidmypfpiscursedafb6902 I mean... if Malfurion got the world tree, there's no way he would have spared Magtheridon. He would have killed him or made him submit, just because he could. Magtheridon might not be the most savy Pit Lord, but it would have been crazy of him to trust Furion. I think it was a case where both were bound to betray each other, if only to avoid getting betrayed first.
@@navynahibel873 Yup. That's why I'm rooting for him to at least survived till the end, fam. I agree that Malfurion would either kill or make him submit after he complete his transformation into the Dark Titan and chances for Magtheridon to actually remained alive are slim.
Imo it'd be interesting if Magtheridon keep his promises and later got betrayed by Malfurion though, that'll add a nice twist of irony seeing Malfurion being a supposedly heroic character committed villainy on a villain like Magtheridon.

@@allshipper2158 false on both accounts, Garithos retook Dalaran Ruins from the Scourge and was winning battles until Sylvanas betrayed their deal and killed him in cold blood because the plot demanded it

Honestly, Magtheridon always made me so sad on this campaign. He's the last of his kind and it's painfully obvious he's not cut out for this cloak and dagger stuff. He desperately tries to imitate others just to survive, and the moment he thinks things have finally turned around, that his plans took him to the top, that it's his time now, he dies.

Even if Magtheridon hadn't attempted to betray Malfurion, I think when he consumed Velinde's blood, Malfurion would've had the intention of turning Magtheridon into another slave, which would've been ironic due to the fact that Manoroth's blood tainted the orcs and enslaved them into becoming servants of the Legion.
The end comes soon...(I had honestly hoped that Magtheridon makes it till the end...Kind of an Anub'arak + Garithos scenario from mental Maiev.)

Awfully nice of Kazzak to allow Magtheridon and Velinde to have their conversations instead of simply attacking.
I think Kazzak is the most polite demon out of the bunch in the demoncratic Burning Legion.

Not only that but he only threw his escort at Magtheridon when was close to defeat, could have done it right after he cheated with the blood.

really nice touch using Legacy of Kain music. Medivh is voiced by Raziel after all
The story is pretty silly ( and borders being dumb at times, like how Magtheridon just helps Furion access to an op artifact that lets him turn into a tree )
But there is something charming at how over the top and ham it is.
The Medivh/Furion talk is also ripped straight out of Game of Thrones so...
Dunno how I feel about this campaign. Equal parts great, and dumb at the same time.
It's just an epic story, so logic can suffer sometimes :D
What really like that Malfurion is just evil. Not "Blah me misunderstood, I am actually good...", no, just evil and enjoy it. A bit similar to Dungeon Keeper, but less silly funny and more grim way.
As if Uther becoming a silly hammer swinger who turned himself into a chicken isn't silly enough, here we have a character journeying into path of villainy because he consumed some murloc gamer bath water.

Did Archimonde also die in this story or is there another reason why Kazzak goes around with his blade?
Poor Magtheridon, i hoped he would survive this for Turnro to make him a character in Demon campaign but it seems everyone is dying in this part.
The three way battle between MalGul'Daniel, Medivh, and Azshara was very good even Medivh is hesitant together with the greatest enemy against her until Azshara have enough to do some heist to Nordrassil and Medivh fight MalGul'Daniel but in the end MalGul'Daniel won.
Unfortunately, the spell animation doesn't work during the three way battle then Medivh vs Malfurion in the Nordrassil entrance due to Reforged. Make me sad that the story will end. Any ideas what are your thought 'To The Bitter End' custom campaign?

Can you share what tools you use for the AI made voices? I'm still impressed by Azshara's voice, given that she doesn't even have that many voice samples for an AI to have material from, far as I know at least. Would love to play around with the tool you use myself as well.

I play Blizzard games, spesificly Starcraft 1-2 and Warcraft 3. I will keep switching between these three games while also listen to the requests.
Malfurion's Quest has non-evil part which will be released soon, so I'll play that campaign too once it's out. Stay tuned for it.

Mary Sue/Gary Stu's are often "perfect" characters that are impossible to beat. They're just the best at everything and beat everyone forever.
They're most commonly seen in FanFiction ( with either author self inserts characters, or author favorites ) and are used to criticize characters that are seemingly overpowered, or somehow just asspull being op and beating everyone.
Right. I think the character "Rowan the Wise" can be considered as a Gary Sue self insert as well.
The writing of this wannabe serious story is really taking a nosedive at this point. Maghteridon being killed off like this, Medivh facing Furion alone, Azshara being mostly a pushover and even betraying Ilidan instead of ganking Furion togheter and Kazak just letting Magtheridon and Velinde talk it out. And thats not all even...

Plot armor is too thick! At this point, it's like watching The Slap 2
Azshara should have won here the Naga can travel on water and avoid the 1st closed gate entirely yet she didn't bring her whole army? Fine not Illidan for story reasons but not even a few trusted Elite Royal Guards? It would also make the boss fight even better. The story was great up until this point.

I don't think this Azshara is great, but still vastly superior to what Blizzard officially did with her in WOW.
Sure got Soul Reaver when Medivh met Malfurion... Ozar Midrashim to be exact.
Also, not to be mean, but the fight Medivh shows a lack of vision... the Guardian of Tirisfal... the most powerful mage in history... and he has one blade master ability and pew-pews you? Come on.
He has Chain Lightning and Soul Burn as well, but yeah, its underwhelming tbh
