Auntie ji your criticism of idiocy of Meerab's character satisfied my heart. How can anyone love that character is beyond me. She's self-centered, arrogant, narcissistic and top it all off really, really dumb. True Yumna is wonderful actress. But i find it unbelievable that a dignified alpha male falls so hopelessly in love with a character like Meerab.

The whole (tere bin) drama should have been writer's biggest career mistake but luckily it turned out to do well for her. Just for the sake of production value that went into making it and murtasim exceptional fictional character has made it a hit. The biggest culprit of this drama is the writer itself. I understand its a fictional story but at least shouldn't have made it this dumb. The writing is really ridiculous just like "mujhe pyaar howa tha" writer. She also sucks in writing.

Amma nailed it. Other channels failed to note all the vital points. Well done, Amma 🎉🎉🎉 Dil main thandak par gayi. Just wanna say...Meerub always claimed she's not afraid of anyone but failed to own up to her colossal mistake in front of the family...or even alone to murtasim..chooeee jayi, but otherwise barking day n night to all. Hated Haya throughout drama but thoroughly enjoyed her exposing meerub. Overall, a garbage drama and writer 👎
Watching this show from bankstown hospital Sydney Australia. Had my laparoscopic surgery today and this show is an ultimate therapy. It made me laugh so much that when ever i giggle my stitches hurt 😂 but still enjoyed it alot.

About Jurm I agree with Momin’s opinion about it’s ending. They built a very strong story structure with a lot of suspense and the bar was rising with every episode until the second half of the last episode. Aur end may kya nikla khoda pahar aur nikla choha😅

The whole point of Jurm was to show how the media builds mountains out of molehills and we tend to blindly follow the media rather than our own senses. The drama clearly showed in the first episode that the driver was the killer. But then came in the TV and social media that twisted the whole story and created controversies for no good reason. It was a good lesson in how not to believe in the media circus. The only flaw was Ayla's mother who should've reacted more strongly at her death.
Not just that, the screenplay was created in such a way that even the audience were made to think like people on social media or people who react to the news, by making audience also question the intentions of innocent and good people and look for scandal, drama and mystery in other people's tragedies for our own entertainment. Till the very end we as an audience kept waiting for some big shocking twist that would reveal an even bigger conspiracy and or reveal bad intentions of seemingly innocent looking people; some viewers were even speculating that ayla may not be dead and faked it to get revenge on danyal thinking he and samia were having an affair. but every character in the end turned out to be exactly as they were shown from start, the characters who seemed good, were in fact, and the character that was shown to have bad intentions was the only one with bad intentions and the liar (hameed). The truth was not as scandalous as we were speculating it to be.
Well said. And I would like to add that the class difference and spending money by rich without empathy for people around can cause such incidents. In this case the murderer was a thief but it can make less privileged feel envy or angry on injustice.

@@eisha1313 Both the actress and director were flawed in this case. Not showing the dead body is fine but at least express grief and anger in a way that makes us believe that she's dead. Maybe it was intentional to fool the audience but it didn't make any sense in the end.
@@MultiBigbird01 They build a parallel between the media and the audience by giving us incomplete clues. This is just what the media does, it picks up rumours from here and there and then builds up their own version of the story instead of actually investigating the case.

Totally agree with Amma's take on Bandish. I understand where she's coming from. I do appreciate different storylines too.but black magic to destroy family leaves a bad taste in my mouth. And i dont enjoy watching it. This specific storyline takes away from my enjoyment of a horror drama.
I loved Jurm, including the conclusion. It was refreshing that the screenplay misguided the audience into thinking like any typical crime thriller, the character's who seem good may have bad intentions, and that there may be an even more shocking and bigger scandal to the truth, but in actual people read too much into situations and judge people as they seek drama and entertainment and so make mountain out of molehills too, and so the viewers were watching this story and reacting to the story and characters in the same way social media does when there is some controversy in the news.
I think your disappointment then stems from the fact you were watching this like a classic who-done-it mystery where you expect some big shocking twist, but don't see that was not what the show's aim was, but rather the show was intended to give a social message about how in this social media era we are quick to pass judgements and character certificates to people based on zero evidence and only on basis of speculations and theories without caring about the impact that it has on the people involved in that controversy.

I also found jurm's ending underwhelming. The 2 ppl who were in love in the beginning and wanted to together ended up together at the end. An innocent soul Ayla got killed in the middle. Felt bad for Ayla's character. A very tragic ending for her.

#Haya is the biggest culprit who knew from the start that it is Malik Zubair, still she kept silent. Even if she had been ignored for Murtasim's proposal, still Maryam took care of her at every step, Maan begum forgave her after black magic, pushing Meerub from stair case, what if she was pregnant in reality, still everyone forgave her, Murtasim still took her for shopping, they all wanted to get her married before Maryam and found a great guy like Naurez from a rich and educated family, still she stabbed the family on their back. She is against Meerub, everyone knew it. But now she is hurting everyone without discrimination, still she is the reliable one? She made up a stupid logic why she did not tell anyone about Malik Zubair earlier and Maan begum accepted it. and Sorry to say, #Bushra Ansari is such a veteran actor still she failed to act according to the situation. hair, make up and nill expressions on face, not a single tear or fear just to save her make up. She acted as a middle aged woman in Neeli Dhoop, an old woman in Angan Terha when she was young. And now trying to look younger when she is old. Even the portrait picture on #terebinamainnahin she is trying too hard to look young

i was also disappointed with jurm's end. I honestly thought when wahaj was staring out the window in the last scene that both wahaj and that woman was the ones who planned the murder and they would reveal it but no it was such a boring end.

Ammaaa😂😂 you rocked it 🙌🙌 you fully described tere bin just like we feel at the time watching the drama😅 but according to me mariyam is the main culprit because at the starting she knows that love marriage not allowed in her family than why she was doing that.
A major point of Jurm was to show how media makes big deals out of information, and we are inclined to follow media rather than our own mind. people treated this show as a proper crime thriller and expected to have a shocking ending, IMO it was a good ending I think bcos it went exactly how the audience didnt expected it. hope more story similar to these are encouraged and appreciated for their true nature
