Now he is TECHNICALLY correct, Shelby did help build the California special. The original Cali specials were built along side the gt350 and gt500s BUT they are not shelbys. That's just a bolt on coyote California special (obviously) he might have 500hp unless he is spraying nitrous (if he actually does have cams and stuff) that might be believable

Like the Gratiot Cruise last Sunday was a joke....and of course the weekend before Woodward Cruise all the way up to Thursday is a pretty good time..... really all the way into late October even November Saturday nights are busy

Howdy JD. I did some research on the Shelby California Special. It is a real mustang. This car is a Ingot silver California special, this is a 2011 model year car. If I understand him correctly he has a 5.0 302 V8 under the hood. The engine makes 412 hp stock with 390 pounds of torque. It does not have a turbo or supercharger. He did mention he upgraded the engine with some mods so it is possible that he added 300 hp to make around 700 hp. The last model year for the California Special is not 2015, but thus far 2017. They could bring out a new one in the future. Keep up the good work man.
The guy said its a GT500 and that CS stood for carol Shelby which it doesn't. Doing heads / cams and bolt ons on a 5.0 or coyote engine or any engine for that matter will not add 300 HP. They guy was delusional

I actually had the other car and dynoed stock at 999hp and 300 torque and I wanted 120K but dude put the title for a civic with the big wing on my hood and we traded even up o ya and civic was a BS edition so came stock with a Ls12 1000hp 301 torque so yep
