Wow, that must be one heavy motorcycle! I love how you used the frame tubes as the exhaust pipes. 9:08 When you let out the clutch at idle and rode off, the RPMs never even changed. That's diesel torque for you!
@@Onir500 directional torsion from the flywheel. Ever played with a gyro on a stick? It's really hard to turn because the rotating mass pushes forward even when turning it makes for really bad wobble.
Klasse Leistung !!
WOW! You have created a true one of a kind motorcycle! Very interesting parts combinations. I especially love the engine with exposed valve train components. That is the icing on the cake for me and exudes pure mechanical engineering. I absolutely love it!
I have 2 Deutz diesels, one in my Bobcat, 22 yrs old, one in my stump grinder, over 30 yrs old. Excellent motors. The one in the stump grinder, the oil ALWAYS stays honey gold, never had black motor oil. Been a diesel mechanic over 40 yrs, never , ever seen that in any engine.
Servus, schade dass ich das nicht live gesehen habe. Gehe sehr oft dort in Feilnbach spazieren. Wäre der Hammer gewesen das live gesehen zu haben. Super Arbeit und sooooooo stylish.
Fabulous! Wish I had the skills to build something like that. I had a diesel bike..... 10hp, 400cc Yanmar boat engine in a Suzuki frame. It used less than 2lts for 100km. Loved it. But this is something else.
Can't stop looking at what you created . It's just amazing. Put some chrome sleeves slash cut over exhaust tube . One real piece of art looks perfect scale . Cheers new Zealand
Now, this guy really does think outside the box as opposed to those countless followers that know nothing except chrome and other forms of egotistic excess. Excellent work, DEUTZ Rocker! I tip my hat in respect to you. :-)
Stephie Heey, give a bit of credit to us in the bobber community. This oil burner is technically speaking a chopper, but built to the visual bobber doctrines. Besides the choice of engine, which isn't really functional, and the blow thru frame, which isn't functional either, not much thinking outside the box here. It's an ornamental bike, like the ones from OCC. Nowt wrong with that, I've got ornamental bikes myself. But don't slam the entire builder community on the aesthetics of a bike which cannot turn around corners.
@@thefreedomguyuk And yet they mostly follow that chrome - custom metal cut - fancy paint "box". At least that guy started it and rode around a bit, contrary to many fancy design chromed V2s that just enter and leave the exhibition on a trailer, and do not even start an engine. Sure it's not practical for daily riding, but at least it moves and I bet you turns a lot of heads, if not only for the sound.
@@thefreedomguyuk ~ Who's criticizing bobbers? I actually think they're great as I've had a couple myself, starting back in the mid 70's already. They were all shovelheads. No, I criticize those bikes that have ridiculously long forks and garbage for brakes, but thousands upon thousands of dollars spent on chrome or freaky gaudy paint-jobs. I'm also very aware of this particular bike's limited functionality. I see it as a break from the status quo, an excercise in innovative engineering, if anything.
I can tell that you are a genuine cool guy by your choice of music. The fact that you also built a torque-monster diesel is further cred for your rep.!
When I first saw the engine put into the frame I really REALLY didn’t like it. I appreciate that my opinion doesn’t matter anyway, but yup, I thought it looked awful. A very old agricultural engine in a rather modern looking frame etc...... And now? I could not of been any further from correct. This is EASILY one of the best bikes I’ve ever seen. Of ANY STYLE!!!! Beautiful bike. Since the exhaust is integrated into the frame, double-wall construction with ceramic coating would keep the exhaust from rusting out and requiring replacement of frame sections. I'd imagine that bike pulls like a freight train, with that diesel engine and huge flywheel. I'd love to see it with a supercharger.
Verbal detail would of put this build over the top, people like to know where parts were collected and what made you BUILD IT and how you are so skilled! Great build, need to know more . . . .thanks for sharing . . .exceptional build
You must love doing things the hard way, you have a ring gear on the clutch which gives you provision for an electric starter motor. Yet there is none.

Beautiful job on your frame! Maybe a cover to match the left side flywheel but for me, the only drawback is the springfork as, I used to make them and they look great but, just aren't road worthy over 80 miles per hour but who goes that fast anyway? Nice engineering! Different and I like it!
Imagino a difículdade em se fazer uma curva com a moto, devido a quantidade de momento gerada pelos dois enormes volantes na vertical, sem contar o risco a perna direita
Extremely practical and safe. A marvel of 1880's technology.
Slow down, turbo 😂😂😂.
But, yeah.

Is it registrated as a agricultural transport?
When I was in army, I had a 1966 faun tanker which had a 8 cylinder Deutz engine, no water. I remembered that sound. Nice job well done mate.

A real complicated build that turned out to be awesome. Lots of talent here.
This is just sick. I can’t imagine how many hours you’ve put in to this build. Really cool!!

The perfect blend of ingenuity & stupidity. Fantastic ! It's everything I have never needed in a bike.
