Did you look at any other 2 man flip shanties before purchasing this one? If so, what made you decide to go with the Nanook XT? I am looking to get a 2 man flip shanty here in the near future and I am trying to decide between the Nanook XT to the Eskimo Escape 2400.
The biggest thing for me were just the positive reviews I read and had gotten for people. Not to say that it’s better or worse than the Eskimo I just had more information about that one. I really did like the incorporated light bar for the Clam Ice Team. I have liked my Clam so far with only minor things I would change about it. Regardless which way you go hope you like it!
My son has the nanook XL and I have the xt there is a support for the back and we have never had any problems with it on real windy days it should be anchored just like any other portable ice shelter
