Are the seats easily removable? I imagine taking them out shaved off a few pounds when loading and unloading.

Yes they are easily removable. They are about 14lbs a piece. Even with them in, it is pretty easy to load. I prop up the rear part up against the tailgate, and lift the rope side up and it slides right in.

Does it have a stability pole in the front????? Because what keeps that from not flipping over from back to front? There nothing holding the front top pole to the bottom. Meaning it would flip over from back to front in the wind since the sled is only 1/3 the total length of the sled opened

On super windy days, I use ice anchors on straps near the back of the sled that installed. I bought a front stability bar from clam, but have yet to use it. The entire shanty is pretty stable. Been out 10 times this season and so far so good. Better than the nanook xt version I had last year.

@@JasonT-i3pI’ve used my xt in 15 mile winds and it just tipped over because they don’t have a pole in the front. What gets me is the sled is only 1/3 the over all length of shanty, meaning 2/3 ( leg area to front of shanty) have to be supported by the sled, the 2 chairs and your body weight, once you leave the shed in not even high winds 15 at most it flys over falling face first because the loop that lays on ground don’t even lock, it’s just free moving 😅 I’m calling clam tomorrow and see if they say I need stabilizers if so I’ll tell them there product is junk it don’t even withstand a 15 mile winds, only calm days

Are you pulling that by hand or with an ATV?

By hand. Pulls pretty easy, but we haven't had much snow this year either. I have a smitty sled I use to use with my old shack.

Looks SWEET!! With the seats out and canvas folded down for transport, how tall is it with the runners you added? I have a Chevy crew cab short box with a fiberglass tonneau cover so height is a concern.

@wadesaathoff3734 22.5 inches with the seats in (they push down even further with the cushions on). It fits just under my hard flip tonneau cover in my 2020 ram with short bed. With the seats out, I would guess about only 15".
