Glad you are showing these on you tube. I don't use Spotify and like to put a face to a voice when listening to a podcast about the Irish

Pete Sampson, giant wet blanket. How this dude continues to have a job kills me.

Somehow, I remember a guy named Blake Fisher started as a true freshman against Florida State back in 2021. It doesn't feel strange to me that they would ponder having true freshman, Anthony Knapp start against Texas A&M in 2024.

True freshmen starting on ND offensive lines remains the exception to the rule.

Fisher’s start was the first freshman to start on the OL in 15 years. And that start lasted one half due to a meniscus injury

Pete is so dry and a true pessimist. Man, I bet he’s fun at parties.

So who thought Jayden Daniel's was a Heisman guy when he played at ASU? Good coaching will always elevate a players performance. Let's just relax and watch what happens. Coach Denbock is a proven winner.

According to ESPN, Riley Leonard has 17 career rushing touchdowns (all at Duke from 2021 to 2023) with 11 alone in 2022.

Why no talk of Tyson Ford? He played some last year. Was a 4 star recruit. He isnt getting any talk with the 2s on the interior?

He’s no longer on the roster. He’s on medical scholarship now.

The answer to the 3d and 6 question is obviously MITCHELL EVANS.

Don't quite agree on Sampson's take about Notre Dame offensive personnel being not as good as what LSU had or that's even comparable. They might not have that star receiver or Heisman winning QB but it's pretty darn close with a quality core of receivers with Kris Mitchell, Beaux Collins, and Greathouse along with Riley Leonard who could end up in the Heisman race not too mention a better backfield and better TE's.

WTF are you talking about? LSU's offense a year ago was one of the best in CFB history. There's absolutely no comparison. Nor is ND's TE better than LSU's. The only thing they have in common is Denbrock. And I would go so far, as a ND fan, to say LSU's offense this season is also probably, presumably better than ND's, having lost all three 1st round picks. And their replacements are better than ND's current offensive two deep.

@user-zh1th8sz2l Mitchell Evans is on the All American watch list. The TE's are better along with the RB's. They might not have a star receiver but the overall depth is better than what LSU had. People are underestimating the talent they have on this team. Nobody predicted Daniels as the Heisman winner going into the season and a lot his development was because of Denbrock. This team is very comparable.

@@joshphillips8307 Obviously our WRs are not comparable in any way to LSU's of a year ago, though they may be comparable now, given who LSU lost. I do like Mitchell Evans, he'll probably be another NFL TE, but I feel like Mason Taylor could be a cut above, not to mention his backups who also will probably end up being better. LSU's OL is one of the best, while ND's is a big question mark. And at the all-important QB position I'm guessing Nussmeier is going to put up big passing numbers, and who knows what Leonard will do. RBs are probably a wash. So overall LSU will presumably have a more potent offense, and that's in the SEC. Fortunately, ND has a standout defense, and doesn't play in the SEC, and all we need to do is win the games on our schedule and we're in the playoff. And I would say our offense should be good enough to do that much. Playoff or bust, baby!

I hope Steve being 2nd string QB is just a courtesy and if someone needs to step in for RL after week 1 it’s CJ
