Kid Kakashi was stronger than kid Obito, that's it. When it comes to them being adults Obito was vastly superior at all times and he "lost" their fight on purpose and was massively holding back.
I always loved the going blind aspect of the mangekyo as though to emphasize the idea the more you use the power of hate the more you become blinded by it and left in the dark
Anbu-Kakashi is stronger than Part 1 Kakashi because he was way more active. Kakashi in Part 1 hadn't been training himself hard, hadn't been pushing himself to the limits. Its only after the events in Part 1 where he realizes how far he's fallen (Land of Waves Arc and getting hit by Tsukuyomi mostly) that gets him to really push himself back to the level he had been at as an Anbu member aka as a child for the start of Part 2. So now he can use his Sharingan constantly without issue, but he's also unlocked the use of Kamui which hits him hard at first, but he grows used to it and trains to be able to wield it in the background of Part 2.
Yeah, that's called getting old. When you become 30, it starts happening to you. Edit: to anyone replying "BuT hE wAs In HiS 20s iN pArT 1" learn what critical thinking is, idiots.
The difference would be that a base activation of sharingan itself isn't allot of chakra, but his eyes is always active. But the MS takes allot of chakra
My theory is that the blindness comes more slowly then we are lead to believe. For instance, sasuke was seeing blurry after the summit, but if he had a chance to rest his eyes, they would have mostly recovered, with some permanent damage. Like looking at something bright. At first your sight is blurry, but then your eyes correct themselves, although some damage did take place.
I also bielieve depending of what form you use (using kamui/amateratsu/sukuyumi vs susano) the sight become blurry faster but some can be recovered over time unless the light is completly gone
I figured he just didn't use it enough. He was going blind, but that takes years unless you are constantly using it. Look at Itachi. Kakashi used it at probably the same rate for like a year. Kakashi also knew Itachi was losing his light which seems to imply that he was experiencing some impacts.
Yeah Kakashi's sight was affected towards the end of the war. He needed Gaara's help to bring him closer to Madara to Kamui his defense to help 8th Gate Might Guy.
@@JordanJensen Sasuke's fight againts Danzo was mostly just spamming MS though. Tsukuyomi(lite), Amaterasu and very heavy use of Susanoo and then Susanoo again when fighting Kakashi. Kakashi used Kamui very sparsely till War and when he started use it more it took a toll on his vision very fast too. Also did you completely forget when he heavily used his MS againts the five Kage just before fighting Danzo???? Compared to that Kakashi damaged his vision far quicker than Sasuke.
Kakashi was already losing his light. He asked Itachi "how far has your eyesight deteriorated?" when they fight with him on Gaara's rescue arc. It seems that it's also implied that Kakashi learned about the Mangekyou Sharingan after his first fight with Itachi.
All I see is tell don’t show. The story can tell people that his vision going away as much as it wants. What matters is having it actually impact his performance, *which it doesn’t.*
@@trutyatces8699 Yeah, I totally agree with that at the end, it didn't even matter, but at the time it was impactful for me, I remember getting the foreshadow there. Sadly, as you say, it ended up being unimportant.
Is it canon that Deidara was able to get his arm replaced so easily because most of it was still intact, just in Obito's Kamui dimension, so they just needed Kakuzu to sew it back on? Or am I headcanoning this?
Imagine being Obito, just chilling in your own personal dimension, and then Kakashi transports in Deidara's clone suicide bomb explosion right on top of you, later followed by Pain's flying nail attack, and Sasuke's susanoo arrow. It's a wonder that Kakashi didn't accidentally kill him.
Thank you i was lost why not one said it. Kakashi is half blinded normally and has a regular eye, so if he loses light in the other would it really bother him?
Kakashi isn't half blind. He lacks depth perception. When he uses a partially blind sharingan, the overlapping images in each eye are understood by the brain differently, so he would just have shitty vision in general.
Ironically, the strain that the sharingan put on Kakashi made it so he could never truly spam it before the war arc. Before then, he could barely use it before passing out.
Towards the end of the war it makes it pretty clear he’s going blind if I recall correctly he even states he is losing his sight. Kakashi also barely used his mangekyo pretty much only when his back was against the wall or it was his best option to end a fight quickly
and then we have the "narrator" talking about how he never goes blind all while there is a picture from the manga where he says he is starting to loose sigh... this comedy writes itself...
Yea, he did lose his sight. Idk what this video is about. Before the climax of the war, he used kamui very sparingly. After spamming it during the war he mentioned that he had nearly lost all vision in that eye
Did anyone ever consider the fact that Madara was merely fast enough to reach the portal that Kamui made in order to teleport into the dimension before it disappeared? The portals clearly take time to make, otherwise Minato never would have been able to avoid them, and since Kakashi's Mangekyo clearly picks a specific spot in space away from the point of origin of the jutsu aka the eye, it stands to reason that if you're quick enough, you could make it to the portal and get sucked in before it dissipates.
@@ExtraVictory A plot hole that can be explained away using the lore of the series. Ah yes, the definition of a plot hole... wait, which way do definitions work again?
@@TheSkullkid16 any plot hole can be explained away using headcanon lmfao. That was never stated In the series you're just speculating to fix a blatant error
@@ExtraVictory Headcanon? So, are you trying to tell me that Juubi Madara isn't extremely fast? Because I can easily prove that he actually is, and it has nothing to do with headcanon. In fact, I'll just do so right now to get it out of the way. When Naruto got his first official buff after taking chakra from Kurama, his speed during his small scuffle with the 4th Raikage was said to be on par with his father Minato the 4th Hokage, who used the Flying Thunder God technique, a jutsu that allows for instantaneous teleportation. To be fair, however, Naruto had to focus in order to dodge that attack, but regardless, he still dodged it. After that, Naruto befriended Kurama, giving him his version 2 cloak, making him faster and more powerful. After getting his version 2 cloak, he then stacked Sage mode on top of that making him even faster and stronger than his version 1 cloak before fighting on par in taijutsu with the same Juubi Madara that took the Kamui eye from Kakashi. In other words, Madara at the time he used Kamui was 2 tiers above a guy who had to focus to dodge the 4th Raikage in a way that was on par with Minato's Flying Thunder God, which had previously allowed him to avoid being sucked into Kamui. Now, to mention Kamui itself and Minato dodging it. Kamui, as I've already stated, clearly takes time to use, otherwise Minato using Flying Thunder God to avoid it wouldn't work. Being said, when Minato avoided it, he only had the prep of having his marked kunai in other places already. Kamui came out of nowhere from his perspective, he couldn't see it coming at all, and yet despite that surprise factor, he still avoided it. Madara, on the other hand, knew Kamui was coming because he was the one making the portal to the Kamui dimension, and I think it's safe to say that it's harder to dodge a Kamui that you don't know is coming rather than to enter one that you know is coming, even if that one is a bit of a distance away from you. So, you want to talk about headcanon? Go ahead, be my guest. However, unless you have an argument other than "stupid headcanon lol you're dumb", you have no power here.
@@TheSkullkid16 The reason everyone considers this a plot hole is because no explanation was given lmfao. If it had been said in the series that movement speed allows for that it wouldn't be a plot hole.
Let’s also consider the possibility that once he was revived by Nagato his eyesight was restarted completely meaning that it was using it against Sasuke was like a fresh start. There is also the possibility that his eye became stronger during the war because it was close to the other eye, meaning it works better. In any case he was also close to lose his eyesight so I think it is fine in a certain way.
That’s a decent theory. But if the Rinne Rebirth had some sort of healing side effect that took away people’s ailments, we would have seen more evidence of that. This was never mentioned or even alluded to in any way. Same with the eyes being together: that’s something you completely made up. I don’t think there is any kind of lore and hint about that. Still really good theories though
I think once he was brought back to life all the restrictions have been removed in his Sharingan, so it was pretty much an EMS as he was reborn with it, wasn't a foreign organ anymore.
@@robmarsh918 just theory crafting but wouldn't be far fetched as a good explanation, i mean he was reborn with a fully awakened mangekyo sharingan so it is fair to say if he was brought back to life to full health, then the same was done to the sharingan, was incorporated in his body like it belonged there. And his saying that he was going blind during the war might have been just him being low on chakra, not that the eye was actually going blind.
@@fs5866 I mean, not really. That’s good logic. But it’s not in-world logic. There’s no indication of being born or reborn with a Mangekyo Sharingan would make you more resistant to blindness. The only in-world way we know is by swapping out for different eyes. Nor has going blind EVER been an indication of low chakra. For Uchiha or anyone else. The cause for going blind with a Sharingan has been strictly due to using Mangekyo abilities. That’s not even head canon, bc you are making up new rules.
Man, a non-Uchiha having access to an Uchiha-only ability was such a baller idea, thematically. It made Kakashi very unique and immediately ingratiated him to Sasuke and the life he's had to live. It all went downhill when Sharingan became the end-all-be-all of superpowers (along with everyone's favorite E.D. treatment, Hashirama Cells.) The addition of Danzo and his ridiculous arm just reduced Kakashi's uniqueness, and people just straight up "getting over" the blindness aspect of it through plot hacks was... man, it was just the worst. This series is a deluge of awesome ideas and characters treated poorly.
remember when hand signs and how much shurikens you could throw at the same time determined your popularity was ya know still there. Now we got giant tailed beast balls being thrown and being produced in a single second
@@ilovekids-kx1bq that was set up ever since part one and kishimoto need to save time and page and he can't waste them on hand signs so stop complaining and hand signs were used but not like part one
@@ilovekids-kx1bq just look at madara and hashirama and Naruto and sasuke and others they are very popular and Naruto vs sasuke final fight is more popular than minato vs obito so having a long hand signs for all these fight well be boring complaining about hand signs is stupid
So I think part of the reason why Kakashi doesn’t complain even if he is , is because his choice to keep the eye covered unless he’s using it, he has already lost that eye once and there’s the obvious fact that he felt guilty that he has Obito’s eye and had to kill Rin
He’s covering it because he can’t turn it off and having it exposed drained his Chakra faster than when he had it covered. He mentioned his eyesight going during the war when he needed Gaara to get him closer to madara plus he mentioned itachi going blind to itachi so he knew about the blindness
4:05 Out of Chakra?!?! Dude how the hell can you interpret that? He doesn't complain about chakra when the Susanoo fades. He show no signs of chakra exaustion nor prior no after it fades. He still standing floating above water and still has chakra to make another Chidori vs Naruto, but couldn't mantain not even a ribkage susanoo. How the hell it's chakra? It's clearly related to his vision being weakened. Out of all the moments his susanoo could fade it happens preciselly at the moment his eyes hurt and he complaisn of his sight, with his vision almost fading, and that just coincidence? while it was all chakra related? C'mon!
People seem to forget that when kakashi joined the battle with the gedo statue, kurama gave him some chakra which fully healed him and gave him an amp. Additionally, later in the battle he fought in close proximity to obito, which Led to additional strength in his sharingan from proximity to it's pair. It's explicitly stated that two sharingan together lead to it's fullest release.
@@mikeoxlong3676 Totally pointless because did we ever see him use Kamui like a lot before the war? Not really unlike the other uchihas. Sasuke literally just use Amaterasu one day one and later susanoo XD. Kakashi awakened his mangekyo the same age as obito during their teens. We never saw him use ms that time until Adult during Deidara one time
There are several possibilities 1: Obito's Sharingan ability may simply not cause that 2: Considering who he is (basically the one person Obito cares about) it may be a pseudo eternal 3: something about only having 1 eye causing less strain 4: PLOT As for why Obito didn't lose sight, his ability is the only one that doesn't project something outside of the eye
also for obito he had the first hokages cells and in mass witcha are known to regenerate body parts, you can see this with danzo since shisuis eye is still perfectly fine and all of his other sharingans are also in perfect mint condition
Didnt Kakashi say during Might Guy (8th gate) vs Six Paths Madara to Gaara that he has to bring him closer to Madara in order to use his Kamui on Madara's shield sphere because his vision has deteriorated heavily at that point?
@@Nurix09 But it can be argued that was because of his chackra reserves being very low as he kept spamming Kamui. Obito also spammed, but he had Hashirama Cells that boosted stamina and chackra replenishment.
@@lisboah no it cant, your sight doesnt get worse because you are low on chakra lol. He said he cant target Madara accurately because his vision is getting worse.
The reason he was so drained from using it during the zabuza fight was because on top of using it and it requiring so much chakra, he used water dragon. Which is said to require a lot of chakra and chakra control. Seeing as how he’s already using all that chakra to maintain the eye, using the water dragon drained him heavily.
water dragon + water vortex + sharingan + all of it while maintaining chakra on feet so he could stand on water to do the jutsus? bro destroyed his chakra so quickly although it was worth it because he did beat zabuza
Kakashi said to Itachi when they fought him first time (clone) in shippuden: How bad your eyesight is? So he knew that ms takes vision and I think he knew because he started to lose it. And Kakashi started spamming Kamui when he got chakra from nine tails. Maybe becouse of this he could prolong his vision. Remember that biggest problem for kakashi was low chakra reserves. Nine tails gave him much more to work with. Just my observation:)
I think people underestimate the number of use the eyes have before going blind. People with eyesight problem often notice it before it way before it get to the point of preventing them from functioning normally. From the blurry panel we see in the manga, Itachi had already lost way more eyesight before his fight than Sasuke had lost at the end of the submit. The end of the submit was just the moment where Sasuke noticed he didn't have perfect vision anymore, he could have probably fight a lot more in this state before going fully blind. So yeah, Kakashi could definitely have notice the declining eyesight without it being a hindrance yet.
I always have two thoughts about kamui. Did Obito ever just stumble across deidaras rotting arm and be like "AYO wtf". Also what if Obito was in the kamui dimension when kakashi absorbed a jutsu and Obito just gets smoked by Sasuke's arrow randomly.
I've definitely thought about this, and it's even funnier when you consider Obito's durability from Hashiramas cells and "Tobi's" demeanor. I can here Tobi phasing to avoid a sucker punch, or hiding bombs for Deidara, "oh Deidara! Look what I found..* sees a GIANT blue arrow soaring towards him* Ooohh shiiitttttt! .*phases back as the arrow passes through him, then deidara's bombs sense him and start blowing up, he phases back just in time to split the difference of the explosions and just starts running around his own dimension having a fit trying to figure out wtf just happened*"
Wasn't kakashi going blind in fhe war arc and he doesn't use his eye as much as Sasuke or itachi. Using the power of mangakyo way to much in a short time period will cause blindness to occur faster like what happen to Sasuke when u over use it
14:29, He only got possessed by Obito, that's why a temporary mangekyo manifested into his eyes. Obito soul was also boosted from becoming the Ten Tails Jinchuuriki, hence Kakashi could manifest the full Susanoo fueled by Obito's remaining chakra.
I know this video is 2 months old but: 2:54 - 'Every time he encounters mildly power opponents, which he probably doesn't' ... Bro. He was in an organization hunting Bijuu and Jinchuriki. Encountering not even just mildly powerful opponents, but the MOST powerful opponents was like... that was his entire job.
Itachi did have to put Sasuke in Tsukiomi in order to motivate him once again, since Sasuke started to lose it cause of Naruto, he needed to bring vengeance juice back, so he would grow stronger faster. Also Itachi didn't spam MS, he used it only when there was a reason to do so. Kakashi is very skilled shinobi and Itachi knew it since he worked with him when he was in Anbu, so he needed to take him out fast, otherwise Kisame could step in and massacre him, and Itachi didn't need it to happen, he didn't want Leafe Village shinobi to die. He also had to use Amaterasu in order to escape Jiraya's jutsu, even Samehada couldn't help in this situation. Also he was taking a break every time after using it, he was resting and taking care of his body and eyes. Sasuke however did start going blind, since he used MS a lot without stopping and resting properly, re-read manga or re-watch anime episodes, this dude WAS spamming MS powers, especially Amaterasu and Susano. The last one uses lots of chakra, puts lots of strain on your body and is the worst jutsu for his eyes, it puts lots of pressure on them. So yes, unlike Itachi he used MS only when it was needed, Sasuke was like a baby with a new toy. So it is wrong to assume that Itachi was spamming his MS, it is shown enough that he is powerful enough to take out strong shinobis without using MS, he is incredibly fast and can use jutsus so fast, you can't even see him making seals. Also there is no need to make a whole video about Obito, you can put it in one sentence - Obito has Hashirama's cells, they are healing his eye.
Kakashi started going blind in the war and he only used it a couple dozen times up until that point? So really not that crazy really, he just used it very very sparingly until the war
The letter J wasn't invented until 1524 . Just some food for thought, if you love "Jesus" I think it's important that people know his name. The name Jesus was made when the Greeks made the New testament. While the meaning of Jesus Christ is right, i will address him by his name while he was walking the earth as a sign of respect.
Reason why I think Kakashi is better at using the MS than Obito Kakashi isn't the original user obviously, and what makes it worse, he isn't an Uchiha If Kakashi had a boost like Hashirama cells, he'll definitely be better than Obito I wouldn't be surprised MS Kakashi slaps even MS Madara I'm not a Kakashi fan but that's the way I see it
Kakashi fanboys and their alternative versions of Naruto 🤣 And people are complaining about Itachi fanboys when here you have it, Kakashi APPARENTLY is not only stronger than Obito (😂) but also beats Madara (😂😂😂)!
I think the reason people overlook katashi saying that his eye sight is getting fuzzy, is because kakashi himself thinks he's just tired. I don't think it's ever stated that he knows the drawback of using it, so he probably doesn't realize it's permanent damage.
I don't think you need brains to transplant an eye in Naruto. They don't need to attach the right nerves or have blood types match. Heck I bet you can just scoop bIood from the floor and use that as a bIood transfusion and save the patient's life.
One thing i always found insufferably inconsistent from the author when watching the series was Kakashi's strenght. At first we learned about this man that can take on kage level shinobis like Zabuza and akatsuki members by himself a man that it's known and respected all over the world even by the strongest of characters a man that has 1000 jutsus off every type on his arsenal, but we never see him do more than 10 different jutsus in the whole series and that's 1 of my favourite aspects of your rewrite because Kakashi has a shit ton of things he can do which make him seem like a man that can fight literally anything because he would always have some technique that fits the situation and it's not forced because for a man that has that many techniques it feels perfectly natural
Zabuza was nowhere near kage level. He was just a high tier jounin. Kakashi was a mid tier jounin without the use of the sharingan, but a high level one with it. Jounin were always a small amount of elite ninja that were all complete badasses.
Maybe 80% of Kakashi's jutsu are worthless like any version of Lotus, since he doesn't choose what to copy. And 10% are too chakra consuming like Water Wortex. Usefull chakra-cheap technique - shadow possession and that would require a shadow clone. Which moves it into category "too much chakra to use". Mind reading doesn't have hand seals to copy, is unknown if mind transfer can be used by a clone, probably not. And since Konoha is the only village to have any working abilities - Kakashi doesn't have a choce with garbage from other villages. The only usefull jutsu are - Great fireball from Uchiha, hidden mist jutsu from Zabuza. And water wall he probably hadn't copied. It's unclear if Kakashi knows wind jutsu from Orochimaru or Danzo.
@@bobjohnson1633 a high tier jonin is kage lvl. Being kage level doesn't necessarily mean you're on the same level as kage like hashirama, tobirama or even Huruzen, just means your one of the strongest if not the strongest in your village. And you sound slow calling calling Kakashi mid tier like he wasn't years out of practice from anbu prior to fighting Zabuza. Zabuza was just lucky Kakashi was rusty and out played him.
I think too the fact that Kakashi has his one normal eye may be kind of important with the concept of him not saying anything about becoming blind, at outside of the fact he didn't use it but a handful of time pre war arc. Wouldn't just his eye with Mangekyou Sharingan become blind?
Answer: Kishimoto dropped his brain while writing the last arc of Naruto Shippuden, the 4th ninja war. During the 5 kages summit arc Kakashi was stumbling and getting blurred vision just from using Kamui against Sasuke ONCE(reminder that Sasuke was exhausted and Kakashi just arrived he was FRESH) to evade his Susano arrow. several weeks later Kakshi fights for days using lightning jutsu and THEN proceeded to spam more lightning jutsu like crazy ALONG WITH KAMUIS, dude even teleported the entire Eight Tail and suffered ZERO AFTEREFFECT-despite a few weeks ago was exhausted from using Kamui just once against Sasuke. and then spammed against Kaguya and THEN suddenly awakened PERFECT SUSANO WITH KAMUI IMBEDDED INTO SHURIKENS despite Perfect Susano requiring ETERNAL MS not MS like Obito has. Kishimoto said fck logic in the last arc with Kakashi his brain went straight out the window, Kakashi should have died like half a dozen times from running out of chakra ALONE not counting combat factors
Maybe having both sharingan instead of one gave him a big buff since he didn't have to strain it as much anymore, either way it,s still poor writing without a real elaboration.
well when its the last arc.. ya fuck logic i want to see DMS Kakashi and everyone doing absolutely stupid broken shit in a war. plot logic can fk right off
as Hagoromo said he spread chakra so people will be linked and can communicate. Even if the sharingan is on Kakashi the eye is still linked to Obito and he has hashirama's cell. Facts to support my theory 1. Kakashi's Sharingan can still evolve while Obito is in the vicinity. 2. Kakashi used Kamui only when fighting Madara and Obito. Pain doesn't count because he got resurrected and he dies of exhaustion after abusing it. 3. Kakashi got blessed by Nine-tails yang chakra when Naruto buffed him.
Itachi used his MS a lot (72 hours vs Sasuke's 24) against Kakashi because he wanted to be in a weakened state to use as excuse to make Kisame think they couldn't take on the Leaf. (Gotta protect the Leaf) He also used it against Sasuke (only 24 hour because little bro love) to keep up appearances with the Akatsuki. Kisame even comments on how ruthless Itachi was. If Itachi held back more than he did, it would be viewed as suspicious. He also needed to conserve Chakra because Jaraiya was there. Remember, Itachi was undercover the whole time. He even gave Jaraiya a clue saying it was there highest goal to obtain Naruto (aka Akatsuki will come to the Leaf). He definitely didnt have to say a word to Jaraiya (look how he reacted immediately when Kakashi mentioned the Akatsuki). Itachi did EVERYTHING for a reason.
Blindness from overusing the Sharingan and mangekyou Sharingan is temporary, becoming an actual psychotic heartless person while using mangekyou Sharingan would leave permanent blindness, Tobirama explained how Sharingan reflects one person's heart, but when a Sharingan user turns heartless what is left to reflect?
@@uttkarshsingh2920 yes. In actual time. It was a second or two, but the length on the experience was 72 vs 24 hours. It's not wild to predict that torturing someone with less "time" (or the extent of his jutsu) has less damage than a longer period of "time" for his ability. If I construct a world that lasts two days... it would be harder than building a world that only lasts 20 mins. Does that make sense?
@@tj1156 Yes however It's the duration on opponent mind basically a attack on someone senses. Activation of skill and it's duration(inl) is what consumes time and chakra along with stain on user. If you buy ticket to a fair for a day then it won't make difference if you leave after entire day or in 1 minute. The money gone is money gone. And well we have not been told if making someone see something for longer increase chakra taxation out accelerates blindness After all Itachi made his gf(I forgot her name) see entire life cycle with him. Let's say about 60 years? Ain't no way kid( or teenage) Itachi is pumping out that much chakra
@@uttkarshsingh2920 so you are saying, if you burn me with a fireball for 5 secs. It's the same as being burned for an hour? I view it in terms of every other jutsu. You see plenty of people charging up their chakra to use these abilities. Kakashi went like 2 episodes charging his MS against Deidara. The more complicated the jutsu, the harder it is on the user.
I'm convinced mangekyo use is not just about use but overuse. That using the ability sparringly results in minimal damage that eye rest and time can mostly minagate but excessive use exponentially increases the rate of loss. Though I think its not an all or nothing loss. There is permanent damage but rest and proper care can at least temporarily restore lost vision al least in part.
I always just assumed a transplanted Mangekyou can’t go blind even if it doesn’t become an eternal Mangekyou it being transplanted will prevent it from losing light from simple over use.
Well he never went completely blind but he was losing eyesight. His eye was looking really blurry at one point. Maybe part of why we don't see him missing his target even when abusing Kamui is because his other eye should not be affected by the mangekyo and thus, can perfectly see things with it.
This is insane. Episode 420 6:30 Kakashi literally says he’s losing vision so he can’t use kamui as accurately. His vision lose was worse than anyone else. He used it like twice before the war and then almost lost his vision after spamming it post obito reveal. He got like a whole days worth of frequent use before he started losing his vision.
Maybe you're going blind bro. He referenced losing vision to Itachi in part 2. He also states in the war arc that he can't use Kamui at a distance anymore. I think one could also interpret him mistaking kcm Naruto as Minato as the result of losing his sight in his sharingan. Maybe stop.speed reading.
Didn't Kakashi use Kamui 3 times against Deidara? the 1st to take his arm off, the 2nd to remove the head of the clay dragon so they can get into close combat and then the 3rd to counter Deidara's fake suicide bomb.
@@mihaimercenarul7467 Dragon, Oversized bird-like thing. Both served the same job, keep Deidara up high and safe. Only the dragon had some attacks as we've not seen the bird use an attack.
Also kakashi only has one sharingan eye so only one of his eyes would experience blinding which means he wouldn’t notice it as much as a duel sharingan user bc his other eye would still be perfectly healthy relative to his ms spam eye
Kakashi's lack of stamina because of his incompatibility with the eye probably saved his vision. That or he had a great medical insurance for laser eye surgery lmao
But the thing is he WAS getting blind. During the few days of war he used mangekyou a lot and his blindness advanced very quickly, reaching the point where he had to get very close just to see madara and use kamui. The base sharingan doesn't ruin your vision that much, but the mangekyou destroys it in a short time of use
Kakashi didn't lose it because that eye was given to him as a gift through love. Meanwhile the eye of Itachi was given in sadness. The emotion the user feels when giving them their eyes is what decides the power of the eye. That's why Kakashis eye was so powerful and able to keep up with Itachi. Also, after Kakashi saw Obitos and Rins soul he gained the most powerful eyes in the known universe as those eyes were soulbound. That's why he became on the level of Naruto and Sasuke at the end for a time. He saw the soul of his best friends and they gave him their power. I wrote this shit motherfuckers.
Also, when the eyes are given in love you can't lose the light in your eyes. Love is what the clan was supposed to be about but the war of the clans caused so much pain and sadness that the Izinagi was born to close the eyes of the clan to prevent them from seeing the sadness. The clan was all about the emotion in our eyes and by the way we are living in a simulation. Enjoy guys.
There was no eyes given to Itachi. Shisui gave his last eye to Itachi which he put it in a crow. The EMS is only obtained through taking your blood relatives eyes both Madara and Sasuke got this through their brothers eyes, Madara forcefully took his brother's eyes but Obito gave Sasuke, Itachis eyes none of which had anything to do with emotion. Unlocking the sharrigan is the only thing tied to emotion other than that the powers in the mangekyo are not determined by emotion
what always seemed crazy to me is the fact that obito didn't need madara to be one of if not the strongest shinobi ever, with an eternal mangekyou and those two kamui abilities he would've been so OP
during the war arc, at the end vs the tailed beasts was where he used it the heaviest. It was there that his MS was starting to wane cause he had used it too much in such a short time. Kakashi didn't use it that much cause his chalkra drained too much for him to use the MS... and before he was just using the Sharigan like an ace eye for coping jutsus and targeting for his more powerful jutsus that needed it. So really he had a fresh eye even up to the war arc.
I always thought the bigger issue was how fast saskue lost his vision. Every other person with it had used it for years minus kakashi. Whilenkeeping their vision the biggest being itachi. Granted itachi was also on top of his health and constantly struggling to keep himself healthy but his genjutsu were so powerful he obly needed a few seconds and you were done so maybe that played a part in it. Might have been the drugs. But sasuke had his for like half a month. A month. But was already going blind from like 3 fights. Yes its powerful yes it takes a toll on you but you cannot tell me entire generations of your clan before you could keep their eyesight for most of their lives then you get it and burn out in a couple weeks. While i gurantee you fighting a 100th of the battles they did. Either your eyes were 95% done when you got mangyeko or you are the worst heir to the eyes your family has ever seen.
Sasuke barely had his ms for a few weeks because of how frequently he used both abilities plus susanoo. That's why his eyes sight deteriorated so quickly compared to everyone else. Itachi only used his ms sparingly an never used more then one abilities per fight. Two abilities max if he was desperate
Before watching, it's because it was someone else's eye, which is exactly what you need for it to become an ETERNAL mangekyo sharingan. You also had Sasuke's eyes going bad before he got Itachi's put in, even though Itachi's eyes were going bad when Itachi still had them.
Fugaku never actually had MS in the manga. That was only filler canon so it didn't actually happen. However, there are various reasons Itachi wouldn't want to take his fathers eyes, such as disrespect or never really having the ambition to get EMS in the first place.
@amyzonkers7568 that wasn't filler, they mentioned him having mangekyo in the Itachi light novels too. Also there was no point in talking his eyes. Itachi wasn't a person who particularly cared for getting stronger then he already always was, not to mention he was planning on eventually being killed by Sasuke so it was essentially pointless
I thought it was already known that Hashiramas cells had a healing ability that kept the sharigan from sealing itself up. thats why obito never went blind.
Honestly while I like kakashi as a whole. He really did just keep growing in power without stop even when Naruto surpassed him and Minato with rasenshurrikan. I like when the old guard get slowly replaced when the new generation become stronger through explosive growth but shounen stories do this so it's not surpassing. Naruto black clover they just have sensei that don't slow down. Mha and bleach honestly it makes more sense there as the old guard have to keep fighting strong foes and captains have bankai so kisuke being stronger than he shows works fine compared to kakashi who we saw so many of his tricks in part 1 j
Naruto didn't surpass them. He just did 1 thing they couldn't. Naruto wasn't nearly as strong or smart as Kakashi much less Minato. Don't get me started on how unreliable Naruto would be on mission completion in comparison to them. I always hated it when the new guard "surpassed" the old Usually because it was done in record time, requires fate, and is full of plot holes in every Shonen
@@bobbob-zc1nx if the old guard were never surpassed the their wouldn't be a story. Everyone would be dead and the story would end with the villain winning. @ivanbluecool the old guard doesn't need to be surpassed, you really don't know basic story telling if you believe that they do. My main issue was the how. It's always through bs. Happens in a matter of 5 yrs or less and only "surpass" in 2 contexts Some mystical protagonists power up. Or the writer said so but it violates everything we see in the story.

Kishi still missed a prime opportunity to end the series on. Kakashi should of kept his sharigan and became hokage. It would if made the whole cycle of hatred come full circle. It would of symbolised that a unchia or part of one. Had finally become the head of the village they helped create
@@godlayersmgl2673 Given the Otsotsuki god literally had Omniscience, Omnipotence, couldn't be attacked, and a number of other, equally broken abilities... even if there was a Double Rinnegan Kakashi with full access to the Rinnegan, unlimited chakra, and access to Kamui spam without reverting Rinnegan to MS, he'd get bent over and fucked so hard his dad would feel it from the afterlife. He's a much better character, and every Otsotsuki related thing to appear in Boruto has been utter dogshit in terms of writing quality, but nevertheless, in terms of power scaling the strongest possible version of Kakashi, even if he somehow did a Dragon Ball crossover and turned into a Super Saiyan, still wouldn't stand enough of a chance for there to be a fight longer than several seconds.
Even if he went blind, he would have still have the other eye, pressuming that you can still use mangekyo abillities, even without the vision in that eye
I always assumed that due to getting a transplanted eye he had something somewhat similar to an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, the genetic difference due to him not being an Uchiha messed up hard with the needing a close relative to get the EMS so he would never get the full benefits of a Uchiha as the eye still took it's toll on him to an even greater degree because he wasn't an Uchiha so it came with greater chakra costs just by regular usage and even more with Kamui and he also to cover it because he couldn't "switch it off" so it was constantly draining him but he would also still get some of the benefits like not having deteriorating eyesight. At least that was how I saw it.
also he wasnt covering it because of that ... he was covering it because he would stick out considering the 2 nations were litterally at war not that long ago
Idk if you haven't figured out yet but that's not how that works. The fact that Kakashi isn't an Uchiha means how wouldn't be able to nullify blindness period. He was going blind in the war before madara snatched his sharingan. Swapping eyes to nullify ms blindness only words for Uchiha who both have ms and are closely related, hence the concept of ems and swapping eyes.
in the anime they never discuss him losing his sight and i always thought it was because he had a trasnplanted eye. isnt that what stops your eye from going dark. taking your "brothers" eye
What i've been asking to myself, is why, if Sasuke got mad at his clan being murdered, why does Naruto didn't with the Uzumakis? Seems that Naruto never cared about the Uzumaki. Maybe i'm missing something, if somebody can lead me to a video or Dygo could explain it/theorize, etc.
Idk the validity of this, but I would image that those Pain brought back to life were given restoration to their injuries, so could it be that Pain restored Kakashi's eye damage until that point?
My headcanon is that he's able to spam it so much during the obito and madara fights purely because of Obito being there. The whole quote Madara said, "The Sharingan can only be used to its full potential when both eyes are together." So Obito being there not only allowed Kakashi to only spam it, but also do some pretty ridiculous feats like teleporting the entire friggin 8 tails. I think Kamui spam is something that's just inherent to Obito's sharingan as a whole if a non uchiha with low chakra is able to spam the hell out of it. So even if Obito had never had hashirama cells, he more than likely would've been able to use Kamui just as much as he did anyway.
2:35 actually Itachi's reasoning for doing that was probably to strengthen Sasuke's hatred of him even more to try and push him to awakening his Mangekyou and killing him And cause Kisame was with him. He had to keep up appearances of how he was perceived by the Akatsuki
I tried making a reddit post once about how Itachi putting Izumi in the 80 yearlong Tsukiyomi could've led to the downfall of his sight sooner than necessary, since he really wasn't engaging in battle all that much in the Akatsuki, Kisame was. But everyone shut me down, downvoted me, called me stupid. But here you are saying that it does take a toll, I mean why wouldn't it?
So those the eye actually lose light? When Madara took the eye he didn't say anything about the blurry vision that the eye was supposed to have due to Kakashi's usage, neither did Obito. I know that Madara had regen but was that regen fast enough to fix the eye right away? He wasn't healing from Guy's attacks that fast. Obito had Hashirama cells that probably fixed the eye as soon as he got it back but it still feels somewhat vague for me. Anyways, with Sasuke gone Kakashi could train Sarada on how to effectively use the eyes. Sasuke already showed how powerful a polished 3 tomoe can be, people losing their heads over her losing sight for no reason imo.
Don't donated Sharingans never lose their light? If I recall, Obito told Sasuke that getting Itachi's eyes would ensure those eyes never lose their light.
His blindess was never the issue it was the chakra consumption that made no sense. It was stated nearly word for word why kakashi could now spam it and semi go into dimensions. That reason is that obito was there!!!!! It's stated that sharigans get stronger the closer they are to each other!!!! Yes, kakashi was spamming it, but he was spamming a more efficient and stronger version while he himself was more efficient and stronger. Even still, he was on the verge of blindness by the end of it.
kakashi wouldnt go blind since it isn't his eye and it is an eternal mangekyo sharingan like modara has thats why modara wouldnt go blind as well his comui could reach that for not that he was going blind
Itachi He hit kakashi with the mangekyo cause he wanted people to know what to expect sasuke to act afterwards. He wanted them to understand that sasuke was tortured by him. Otherwise they would have only thought sasuke lost his consciousness or something.
Didn't Obito/Madara say that you can avoid the blindness by taking someone else's mangekyou eyes? I always figured Kakashi was immune to the blindness because the Sharingan he had WAS someone else's. Kakashi wasn't using his own Mangekyou, it was someone else's eye that was implanted, therefore he was immune to the blindness side-effect.
Some background on me: My left eye started getting blurry, and I didn't notice for a couple of months until it got bad. I decided to read with my face on a pillow, but I realized I couldn't read with that eye. But where I'm going with this is I'm guessing Kakashi might have taken longer to notice the blindness as his right eye(normal eye) compensated for some vision until he needed to activate his eye, where he would then notice it, but unlike with duel eyes, it would take longer to notice as stated above.
Is Kakashi stronger than Obito?
Nah
Boruto era kakashi definitely but as far Shippuden he had no chance against Obito.
Kid Kakashi was stronger than kid Obito, that's it. When it comes to them being adults Obito was vastly superior at all times and he "lost" their fight on purpose and was massively holding back.
Hell no
hell no
I always loved the going blind aspect of the mangekyo as though to emphasize the idea the more you use the power of hate the more you become blinded by it and left in the dark
But then again it could be fully cured by getting the eye of another who has the curse of hatred, awakening Eternal Mangekyo. Silly writer.

I think whats more odd, is that with the flashbacks kakashi didnt seem to struggle with Sharingan but as an adult he tanked in stamina
Kakashi was using his sharingan more during his anbu years than his adult years.
Yeah, that's called getting old. When you become 30, it starts happening to you.

I can relate. I'm an old man now and Kakashi losing massive amounts of stamina as an adult is the most realistic bit of Naruto 🤣
At first your sight is blurry, but then your eyes correct themselves, although some damage did take place.
also he was tired and used alot of chakra at that point.
Plus, Sasuke wasn't used to his new abilities yet, which probably led to even greater Chakra consumption than normal
I bet its more about the Mangekyo’s ability and using susanoo or not.
Well we know that susano was damaging his cells

@@fs5866 What makes you think that? Is that hinted in anyway or is that complete head canon?
It all went downhill when Sharingan became the end-all-be-all of superpowers (along with everyone's favorite E.D. treatment, Hashirama Cells.) He’s covering it because he can’t turn it off and having it exposed drained his Chakra faster than when he had it covered. He mentioned his eyesight going during the war when he needed Gaara to get him closer to madara plus he mentioned itachi going blind to itachi so he knew about the blindness

There are several possibilities
1: Obito's Sharingan ability may simply not cause that

Also there is no need to make a whole video about Obito, you can put it in one sentence - Obito has Hashirama's cells, they are healing his eye.
the question is how tf he didnt run out of chakra in the war arc? if just 1.5 kamuis drained him completely
Because of Plot Armor Justu
He was given chakra from Kurama/naruto multiple times during the war
Because you didnt read properly. @@Xlaeflicks
Kakashi started going blind in the war and he only used it a couple dozen times up until that point? So really not that crazy really, he just used it very very sparingly until the war

The letter J wasn't invented until 1524 . Just some food for thought, if you love "Jesus" I think it's important that people know his name. Probably because he didn't use it that much.... do remember it's quite taxing for a non-uchiha to use not to mention Mangekyo....
Reason why I think Kakashi is better at using the MS than Obito
Kakashi isn't the original user obviously, and what makes it worse, he isn't an Uchiha
If Kakashi had a boost like Hashirama cells, he'll definitely be better than Obito
I wouldn't be surprised MS Kakashi slaps even MS Madara
I'm not a Kakashi fan but that's the way I see it
Kakashi fanboys and their alternative versions of Naruto 🤣 And people are complaining about Itachi fanboys when here you have it, Kakashi APPARENTLY is not only stronger than Obito (😂) but also beats Madara (😂😂😂)!
@@_Seru_ ok???
I think the reason people overlook katashi saying that his eye sight is getting fuzzy, is because kakashi himself thinks he's just tired. I don't think it's ever stated that he knows the drawback of using it, so he probably doesn't realize it's permanent damage.
Guess obitos love rin just did a great job at transplanting that eye. Congratulations she did something useful.
He... did, at some point during the war arc he said he was mostly blind.
11:25, also 12:00
nobody here is mentioning that Obito/Kakashi never went blind because technically they never used their mangekyou's full potential, which is susanoo
Maybe having both sharingan instead of one gave him a big buff since he didn't have to strain it as much anymore, either way it,s still poor writing without a real elaboration.
well when its the last arc.. ya fuck logic i want to see DMS Kakashi and everyone doing absolutely stupid broken shit in a war. plot logic can fk right off
Maybe the six paths powers gave him the opportunity to be able to use perfect susanoo?
as Hagoromo said he spread chakra so people will be linked and can communicate. Even if the sharingan is on Kakashi the eye is still linked to Obito and he has hashirama's cell.
Facts to support my theory
(Gotta protect the Leaf)
He also used it against Sasuke (only 24 hour because little bro love) to keep up appearances with the Akatsuki.
He didn't used it for 72 or 24 hours lol
All of it happened in 1 or 2 second
@@uttkarshsingh2920 yes. In actual time. It was a second or two, but the length on the experience was 72 vs 24 hours. It's not wild to predict that torturing someone with less "time" (or the extent of his jutsu) has less damage than a longer period of "time" for his ability. If I construct a world that lasts two days... it would be harder than building a world that only lasts 20 mins. Does that make sense?
@@tj1156 Yes however
It's the duration on opponent mind basically a attack on someone senses.
Activation of skill and it's duration(inl) is what consumes time and chakra along with stain on user.
If you buy ticket to a fair for a day then it won't make difference if you leave after entire day or in 1 minute. The money gone is money gone.
And well we have not been told if making someone see something for longer increase chakra taxation out accelerates blindness
After all Itachi made his gf(I forgot her name) see entire life cycle with him.
I assumed that because he doesn't even use the eye to see in daily life, that slowed down the deterioration process.
I could have sworn the show stated this. I always believed that transplanted Sharingan never lost sight.
Yeah when itachi and saskue fight I believe itachi quoted something like that
Well he never went completely blind but he was losing eyesight.
Kakashi is smart that’s why he won
Didn't Kakashi use Kamui 3 times against Deidara? the 1st to take his arm off, the 2nd to remove the head of the clay dragon so they can get into close combat and then the 3rd to counter Deidara's fake suicide bomb.
ye
deidara didn't use a dragon in that fight
This guy drags the video way too much
Cant u make it a little quicker
what always seemed crazy to me is the fact that obito didn't need madara to be one of if not the strongest shinobi ever, with an eternal mangekyou and those two kamui abilities he would've been so OP
Obito had hashrima cells that’s why he didn’t go blind
during the war arc, at the end vs the tailed beasts was where he used it the heaviest.
Wish we could have seen a badass blind uchiha who can still function without eyes
What😂
Ironically enough there was one in the manga or novel but i heard he only got on panel
Madara basically
Yall not watch shippuden kaguya arc? Before he lost his sharigan, kakashi said im losing vision in my eye.
Imagine using the Kamui shortening your lifespan.
It's possible, when Sasuke manifested his susanoo it was causing him cellular damage all over his body
Before watching, it's because it was someone else's eye, which is exactly what you need for it to become an ETERNAL mangekyo sharingan. You also had Sasuke's eyes going bad before he got Itachi's put in, even though Itachi's eyes were going bad when Itachi still had them.
Why didnt Itachi take fugaku' s MS?
Fugaku never actually had MS in the manga. That was only filler canon so it didn't actually happen. However, there are various reasons Itachi wouldn't want to take his fathers eyes, such as disrespect or never really having the ambition to get EMS in the first place.
@amyzonkers7568 that wasn't filler, they mentioned him having mangekyo in the Itachi light novels too. Also there was no point in talking his eyes. Itachi wasn't a person who particularly cared for getting stronger then he already always was, not to mention he was planning on eventually being killed by Sasuke so it was essentially pointless

Kakashi doesn't have an eternal mangekyou sharingan
Kishi still missed a prime opportunity to end the series on. Kakashi should of kept his sharigan and became hokage. It would if made the whole cycle of hatred come full circle. It would of symbolised that a unchia or part of one. Had finally become the head of the village they helped create

He's a much better character, and every Otsotsuki related thing to appear in Boruto has been utter dogshit in terms of writing quality, but nevertheless, in terms of power scaling the strongest possible version of Kakashi, even if he somehow did a Dragon Ball crossover and turned into a Super Saiyan, still wouldn't stand enough of a chance for there to be a fight longer than several seconds.
bluetooth reinforced channels of same sharingan backed by half of obitos body senju batteries
This is the most rational explanation so far.
Even if he went blind, he would have still have the other eye, pressuming that you can still use mangekyo abillities, even without the vision in that eye
The question is if that applies to him since the eye doesn’t belong to him. I would think if wouldn‘r work that way.
I have a theory how kakashi never lost his light and its called "PLOT ARMOR"
I say this for a joke
Kakashi stated that hmthe Sharingan he was using was about to go blind during the 4th War.
Kakashi litterally said he was almost blind in the war arc why do people who don’t watch Naruto make naruto videos.
You clearly didn't watch the whole thing.
@@suri_exe watch the whole thing of what? The scene where kakashi says he’s losing vision in his eye? Go watch the show
I always assumed that due to getting a transplanted eye he had something somewhat similar to an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, the genetic difference due to him not being an Uchiha messed up hard with the needing a close relative to get the EMS so he would never get the full benefits of a Uchiha as the eye still took it's toll on him to an even greater degree because he wasn't an Uchiha so it came with greater chakra costs just by regular usage and even more with Kamui and he also to cover it because he couldn't "switch it off" so it was constantly draining him but he would also still get some of the benefits like not having deteriorating eyesight.
At least that was how I saw it.
its alot like that ngl ... it was someone elses eye ... but also the emotion behind the person who he got it from influenced its effect
also he wasnt covering it because of that ... he was covering it because he would stick out considering the 2 nations were litterally at war not that long ago
I think he has EMS, he took Obito's eye and killed Rin.
What i've been asking to myself, is why, if Sasuke got mad at his clan being murdered, why does Naruto didn't with the Uzumakis? Seems that Naruto never cared about the Uzumaki. Maybe i'm missing something, if somebody can lead me to a video or Dygo could explain it/theorize, etc.
cuz he got two eye. End of the video.
so i just watched a 15 minute video for you to say 13 minutes in to the video "nah actually he was just read lmao"
Read?
What anime is this?
Yeah what about obito
2:35 actually Itachi's reasoning for doing that was probably to strengthen Sasuke's hatred of him even more to try and push him to awakening his Mangekyou and killing him
And cause Kisame was with him.
Maybe its because its a shared eye. Two people using one mangekyou sharingan. So like... double the length before you go blind?
0:33 whts the name of that scean
Kakashi saving konoha with his Last Move.
Obito with white zetsu surrounding him?
Kakashi has never used his eye to its fullest effect until the Obitio fight vs Saskue has always been over using it since he’s gotten it
Finally someone with sense
even if he lose the light in his sharigan he still has the other eye to assist the saringan 😂😂😂😂
I mean Madara did have those op cells
madara had hashirama cells
Don't donated Sharingans never lose their light? If I recall, Obito told Sasuke that getting Itachi's eyes would ensure those eyes never lose their light.
Umm Because he had mastered and unlocked the eternal mangekyo.
What.
@@VerseAftrVerseapparently everyone in the comments forgot how ems actually work
His blindess was never the issue it was the chakra consumption that made no sense.
That only works if you already have a mangekyo
Now explain to me why Itachi's blind eyes work perfectly on Sasuke, if the eye was already blind there, Sasuke should have gone blind
