  • In this video i'll be showing a great non-stop 10 min Cardio workout you can do anywhere. All you will need is a pole like the one shown! this will not only get your heart rate high but work your core too while you keep balance!

    I'm not a wheelchair user, but I recently got my lower back hurt. It will recover, but in the meantime I needed some kind of upper body cardio. I can't do anything that involves my lower body because it aggravates the injury. I found that your workout is perfect! When I finish my heart is pumping like I need it to for me to feel good the rest of the day. Thanks you very much!

    Thanks for the video. Every time my husband starts to exercise he is bothered by either ankle pain or his toe (lasting injury). With your exercises he doesn’t even need to stand up.

    Tried this first time today. It was awesome. Thank you for this . I am new to wheelchair as I have only been confined for 15 months. I have been gaining weight and my therapy has been limited. Looking forward to trying new exercises. Thank you Againg.

    I've gone from swimming at least once a week to doing no exercise and hardly even moving during the lockdown and was starting to feel the extra weight, glad your video found my recommendations, I can start doing things in my chair to shift some of it!
    weirdly my shoulder joints are aching more than my muscles after the first go of doing this. will check out more vids!

    Wonderful work out! I am an instructor and I am incorporating a fit stick ball workout what can be done seated or standing and you just showed me that you can get a heck of a work out in a chair. Thank you.

    This is a great little simple workout. I’m at my least fittest ever, currently and suffering with shoulder and neurological problems where it hurts me to lift my arms above my head. So I actually really struggled to do this the first time. I adapted the timings a bit so that I have 15 second rests in between and it feels great 👍

    This was definitely challenging- I loved it! I thought oh 10 min will be easy, haha! I was wrong. It was very challenging. Thank you for making these videos, I feel like I am finally getting in shape and not having to take other workout videos and adapt to me being in a wheelchair because you have already done it.:)

    Thank you for this video Ben, so just started to follow your videos as of yesterday, and using this 10minute Cardio to start me off, then as of next week plan to try some of the others ... fantastic channel I will start sharing your channel to my instagram and Facebook page so my fellow wheelchair user friends can see how inspiring this is and also what exercises that can be done from a wheelchair. I have been a paraplegic since age of 2 and now at 50 feel psychically unfit and mentally I struggle to get motivated, but your videos are motivational and powerful.       Adapt To Perform very good, it pushes you and definitely gets the heart rate up. You should put a video of you on your hand bike, I’m sure people like myself C6-C7 would like to see!

    Great workout Ben. I'm currently using a gym that has two handbikes but not a great amount of useable weights options, and I'm considering swapping to another gym that doesn't have handbikes but is better for weights, so this would be a good help in improving my cardio fitness.

      I would say that weights are generally a better option for wheelchair users. We overuse our shoulders as it is. Strengthen them with weights will help you 💪

      @@AdaptToPerform that's a very good point and I'd never really considered things from that point of view. I think partly because I'd always got such a good cardio workout I'd got emotionally locked to the need to do it. If that makes any sense!

      Yeah I understand that! I do maybe 10mins of cardiovascular work per week, instead I up the intensity of my resistance training. No issues with fatigue or getting out of breath

    Hi Ben, so I have been doing this Cardio for a week now, my question to you is .... at the start of this cardio I found it quite easy, but at the end of the week i am struggling with it, hurts more as I am doing it, is this normal? by the way, I love the music on this video, it helps you want to go quicker.

      Try doing every other day. You'll be getting fatigued and your body needs to recover 😊

    Great cardio workout, just the music was too loud. With my low vision, it's hard to hear you or your timer (which I use to know when to change)

    How many times should I be doing this per day? I'm trying to lose some weight also eating healthy as well just curious on this

      In terms of losing weight your calorie intake is more important if you want to lose it fast. cardio is more for the heart and lungs, keeping you healthy. Do cardio 30mins 3 times a week. Do resistance training (weights) at least 2 times a week and you'll notice the difference soon

    So here I was thinking these look not strenuous at all, especially considering that I have large muscle mass because I push myself for miles on a daily basis and lift my 300 pounds like nothing, so I've queued up like four videos to do as a morning exercise from now on, every day.
    ... four and a half minutes into this video, which was the first exercise video after the warm-up video, I had to stop, because everything hurts, because I never actually stretched out my muscles, I built up all this muscle by doing very confined movements, so everything is crackling with each of these large moves, and I'm pulling muscles like crazy. I feel like a fool.
