I kinda disagree. You see, there're too much isekai, rom-com and LN adaptations in recent years (and on increasing trend, no less) that I can basically tick out 90% of them every season, unless they're real good. My stumbling into Fumetsu no Anata e is a bit fuzzy. I don't remember all that well how I discovered this series no how I felt in the early minutes of episode 1. But all I know is that by the end of episode 1, my world turned upside down. I didn't pay much attention to the music in the beginning either. That wasn't until I heard the isolated soundtrack and had an out of body experience due to the rush of dopamine that it caused. I never realized how original and beautiful the music was until I heard it without the visuals. Perhaps it was all so perfectly arranged to the visuals that it did not call attention to itself. Perhaps my mind was at it's limit of bandwidth of information coming in all at once in the first episode that I could not process it all. All I know is that this anime is the most beautiful of anything that I have since since I started this hobby in 1987. The original, gorgeous music, the unique plot, the characters which are more anatomically realistic, the design of the main character to a level of esthetics and originality that breaks out of that formulaic anime hero slot that is so common, their behavior, the voice acting talent, it's all so dignified and epic. I was astonished at the way they actors took their roles so seriously, like they were playing themselves. This made the dramatic impact beyond anything else I'd seen. When I'd finished ep 20, I felt empty, like a good friend had left for good. I started reading the manga. And now I'm caught up. The whole thing is on a whole different level from other anime. I guess this is what we can expect from Yoshitoki Oima, the genius behind "A Silent Voice". I'm just happy that Zombie Land Saga is back. If someone would've told me 5 years ago that I'm gonna be hyped for the second season of an Idol Anime I would've called that person insane.
Considering how they deliberately hid the premise for the first 2 episodes (Zombie show? Or wait, they're the Zombies? Metal Idol? Oh, wait, they're doing different genres with Hip-Hop now? Nope, just an idol show... with zombies... and marketing Saga), I wouldn't be surprised if they did something similar this season. For all I know, they could start with the idol fluff we expect, then transition to straight up horror. Either way, I'm in.
Me too! from what I understand that was actually supposed to just be the finale, but the clowns on the production committee insisted on pretending the recap was part of the planned episode order
Basically Netflix doesn't release the anime they licence at the same time as it airs in Japan, being released as a whole season once it's run has ended to keep with their tradition. This means people can't get it legally until it's wrapped up, and looking it up could result in spoilers from the Japanese audience who can watch it week to week and discuss it as it comes, while those outside have to binge-watch before any potential fun discussions.

Megalo Box: Nomad is slowly turning the series from amazing to masterpiece that any anime fan should definitely give a swing. I would absolutely recommend it. If someone would've told me 5 years ago that I'm gonna be hyped for the second season of an Idol Anime I would've called that person insane.

I'm glad I gave it a chance, I was about to watch the first episode but I didn't watch the first season.
It's actually way better than I thought !
That is a recommendation that catches my attention.
*chef kiss* wordplay
What _is_ Netflix jail, though??
Basically Netflix doesn't release the anime they licence at the same time as it airs in Japan, being released as a whole season once it's run has ended to keep with their tradition. This means people can't get it legally until it's wrapped up, and looking it up could result in spoilers from the Japanese audience who can watch it week to week and discuss it as it comes, while those outside have to binge-watch before any potential fun discussions.
