Relative to the plane, those engines are ENORMOUS!
That's really impressive and the thing is : it works really well ! The plane should cost less than a rocket and is reusable
Awesome!!! Launching space shuttle with boeing 747!!!
Meanwhile in the 747 cockpit........
Alarm: woop.... woop... woop.. low oxygen
Joke☺
0:54 Commercial airplanes can not beat the speed of sound if they do not explode
The tail fin rudders are rectangular and you missed the center one. Also, I’m guessing you knew but the SCA (Shuttle Carrier Aircraft) never got close to orbit, it only released the Shuttle in the atmosphere occasionally for testing.
Great video!
get this man a job with nasa
WHOAH, That's pretty big
If your 747 is burning up upon exiting the atmosphere, or if it reaches anything close to planetary orbit, there could be a slight malfunction in the design. No worries, you can fix it with ease with the power of FLEX SEAL.
The 747 when used as a launcher is sub-orbital. takeoff and re-entry speeds aren't high enough for overheating to be an issue.
You deserve 100k subscribers!
I like this prototype !
Totally Awesome!
No parachute for the Space Shuttle? I guess your high energy maneuver at the end made you lose enough speed to make the chutes useless...
Hey Jett remember your hypersonic video? The first plane you show before the hypersonic shuttle comes could you fly it to the mun or somthing for a future video?
Except you forgot the bit I was waiting for, the parachute on the shuttle.
looks like i found a new tail design
Nadir docking port. Spaceships don't have a ventral anything, the part pointing to the ground is called 'nadir'. As opposed to zenit, the part pointing to the stars. The rest is port, starboard, fore and aft, just like old-timey ships. But not ventral! Cool launch system BTW. ;)
Well, since the ISS always has a specific orientation toward the Earth, you could consider there to be a top and a bottom, and since ventral fins on an aircraft indicate that they are on the bottom rear of the plane... it follows that if someone told me to dock on the ventral docking port of the ISS I would automatically assume that it was the one on the bottom rear of the space station. You can argue the point but I'm just trying to convey as succinct of as a message as possible in a 6 minute video.
I get that (and well done at it), but you could take the chance to teach a bit while you are at it. Spaceships follow naval conventions, not aerial ones. Thus ventral becomes nadir, which incidentally is a beautiful latin word that I think should be more known. But I hope you know I was nitpicking in any case!
Nice aircraft! The only issue is that it looks short. Not sure if the real aircraft was like what but it looks a bit weird.
This was awesome!

Space 747
26th!!!And how can you make all these amazing things?!
Practice... Lots and LOTS of practice.
Ok,thanks.
