Are slingshot tubes quieter than slingshot flatbands? If so, why are they quieter?

Are there any implications of drawing and holding a flatband for an extended time to aim? like lower velocity or shorter band life?

Velocity will slowly drop off, especially in the cold. It will reduce bandlife 100%.

Tubes are not as powerful as the Flat Bands. Flat Bands as a general rule will shoot faster and have a lighter draw weight than tubes.
