Replacing Fiber Optics on your SimpleShot Slingshot

Are your fiber optic sights broken on your SimpleShot slingshot? Here's a quick tutorial on how to replace the fiber optics on your integrated clips!
1) Remove the fastener from the clip with a 3mm hex tool.
2) Remove the clip from the frame.
3) Remove the fiber optic by trimming them or pulling them out.
4) Thread the new fiber optic through the back side of the clip.
5) Melt the end of the threaded fiber optic with a lighter or heat source. *Be careful not to melt it too quickly.
6) Thread the other end of the fiber optic through the second hole on the back of the clip.
7) Carefully pull the fiber optic through the hole, leaving room for the fiber optic loop to be tucked behind the protective tab.
8) Pull the loop tight.
9) Trim the excess fiber optic, leaving 3mm on the end, to melt.
10) Melt the fiber optic carefully with a lighter or heat source.
All done! Now, you have new fiber optics on your integrated clips.

Great question! They are 0.0290" and our replacement strips come in 5 inch lengths.
