Thanks so much, I just got one of these in my shop and wanted a good video on how to do the job. This video was made JUST in time and is absolutely awesome. Thanks again!
It would be nice if you guys sold the Front Exhaust manifold for the 4.9L on you're website. All I see that is available is for the 5.8. Been needing one due to the bunghole on mine is messed up where I can't put a o2 sensor in there anymore.
I can’t believe they all broke free for you so easily. Im about to do this on my 96 and I’m rather sure they won’t come out so easily for me😅 No anti-seize on the manifold bolts though?
Outstanding video! Could you make a video on how to change the valve cover gasket on this 4.9liter also how to replace ac components on this model f-150. Thanks for your help and keep up the great work:)
How did you get the alternator/airpump support bracket out???? it wont move, its like there are more bolts holding it in, did you take any out that you didn't show?
Is there a reason for torquing the 4 exhaust bolts before the rest were installed? Granted It is much easier than doing it with all the intake etc on there too. I have done the job twice on the same truck now and I still have an exhaust leak.
Where is the intake gasket all I seen was the exhaust manifold gasket the tabs are thicker on exhaust manifold and the intake has smaller tabs and it's going to leak cause it has to have intake gasket to make up the difference

Be careful everyone when you torque down your manifold screws do not over tighten you will crack intake😢
