For a 1996 f150 the "sensor" has 2 wires and communicates with the computer. The "sender", located near the distributer, communicates with yhe gauge on your dash. It only has 1 wire. It has a plug on the top in a "L" shape to the roght of the distributer
How do you test the sensor to see if it is 'bad'? Recently had water pump & thermostat replaced at a shop; Yesterday I noticed temp gauge only went to N on Normal setting when it had been reading normally (middle of gauge) ... bad sensor or thermostat stuck open?
that was the air charge sensor not the dash temp sensor the temp sensor is probably on the side of the engine with only one wire the act controls air to the intake as the temp rises or cools but apparently theirs needed to be replaced anyway because it was broken and his engine must run better!

is it necessary to drain the coolant?

I like to use a pneumatic impact wrench for the battery connectors :)

I'm hip! I wouldn't even unhook the battery.
can anyone tell me the correct torque specs for the coolant sensor on a 351w? also the Air Charge Temperature Sensor please. xb
Last three minutes looked pretty familiar 😂
Please do same to a Navigator 1999 5.4L 16V
That’s a Medford accent! Gotta be!
Not that location My is near the distributor
