Dont forget, you can not squeeze a seed to get the oil out. You need to use hexane extraction to do that. If you never heard of it, you need to look it up. When you think you found the wrong thing, because you are looking at oil refineries, you are at the right place. Hexane gas, the heart of Hexane extraction, is a by product of petroleum distillation, used to make gasoline, et. al.
Cold pressed seed oil produced via expeller press extracts oil from seeds. It doesn't get it all, for that you need the solvent wash. You're welcome for the update.

Yes. I cut seed oil out almost 100%. Last Xmas I got invited to my cousins. Xmas dinner was fine. Everything was roasted in its own fat including the veg. Next day she made curry with the leftover. I would trust the analysis of people like Dr Paul Mason and Dr Anthony Chaffee over her. The laughter was particularly grating. Let's not mock her appearance please, that's not okay. Let's hope you're not being racist also. The fact that she is wrong, possibly bought and paid for, is already bad enough. We don't need to make fun of the way people look. How about we keep the moral high ground? In the process of refining seed oils, the "chemical deodorizer" is typically live steam which is used in a high-temperature vacuum process called "deodorization" to remove volatile compounds, including those responsible for unwanted odors and flavors from the oil; essentially, the steam strips away these undesirable components, leaving behind a neutral-tasting oil. ---This is the industry standard. How is anything processed to this degree, along with hexane and bleach, while being created directly from things such as rapeseed (which was only considered as feed for cows) even remotely considered as healthy?
Oxidized trans fat oils before they are even on the shelf. This shouldn't even be a topic of discussion at this point lmao. If someone is vegetarian there’s healthy fats they can use. Extra virgin olive oil and unrefined coconut oil. I cut out ALL seed oil and lost 30 pounds effortlessly. I’m convinced that inflammation and obesity are linked.
Prevaricator indoctrinator🙌 that sums her argument right there. Plants don’t want to have their seeds destroyed(chewed) that would ruin the plants chances of repopulating, that should be the end of the argument right there. The plant wants the seed swallowed so it can grow in the fecal matter of the animal, having a great starting nutrients for it, seeds are also the part of the plant highest in fibre for this reason so it’s not broken down by stomach acids in the animals gut, indigestibility might be a word that comes to mind, that’s the first line of protection the seed employs, the second one employed is the one I named earlier, destruction of the seed(chewing/hyper processed and liquified) I think almonds are a great example of how nuts and seeds work, almonds release cyanide when chewed, but not swallowed, a theme prominent in plant world. I don’t know a lot but it seems to be more than her.
Glad you addressed this. I listened to this and thought bullshit. Then I read the comments a few hours later. Glad most agree. What a load of crap. The whole fibre talk made no sense.
Massive increase in industrialised seed oils in the last 60years. Massively increased bodyfat in typical people due to increased inflammation. Coupled with the fact that most seed oils are coupled with white refined flour & inflammatory omega 6 is oxidised linoleic acid. Its also obvious after getting heartburn and inflammation after a meal with canola oil mayo and fried chips deepfried in industrial seed oils. They are hormone disruptors.
"Beef tallow is full of saturated fat." That is a downright LIE. All fats of animal origin, except for dairy, have more unsaturated fats (mono- and poly-) than they do saturated fats.
True. In fact one of the main components is oleic acid, the monounsaturated fatty acid that predominates in olive oil. I think actual saturated fats in tallow are less than 50% in total, depending on the animal's diet.

Cancer ,heart disease ,depression ,dementia ,Alzheimers ….but not Seed oils.. Definitely paid by the Seed Oil Companys…What a shame…
The problem is that almost all processed foods have seed oils so it's hard to remove them completely and see a difference when doing an "ethical" study. I did my own experiment and after a year or two of no seed oils I do not burn and peel from the sun anymore. I used to sometimes peel twice from the same sunburn and my skin would also sting alot when getting into a warm bath or shower. Now I go red and it does not burn in hot water and often the redness is gone the next day :)

Is your preference based on poor health from eating that wonderful diesel fuel? It's been a thing since 1911 when somehow with no testing it was marketed and sold under the label of Crisco. Solid replacement for lard and tallow according to Proctor and Gamble. No proof of safety and when seeing the graph of the increase in sales of those seed oils with the amount of death by heart attack which matches exactly with that graph.

There are guys in the carnivore community who tend towards sexism and even racism. I'm not sure why that is.
Because Ed Bernays and P&G bought out the AHA to sell Crisco and the rest is history.
