  • Here I'm showing is my Uncle's central vacuum he has at his other house they go to on weekends. This was installed when the house was built in 2011 before they first got the place. I edited this video showing everything the best I could that this vacuum has with it. This house only has one floor so it only has two inlets inside plus a VacPan inlet and a garage inlet. Overall this is a REALLY powerful system with really good suction and airflow, very quiet, and it has really good filtration. It's even way better than my system at home. The attachments are fantastic to use including the bare floor tool with a telescoping wand that's hard to adjust with one hand as you can see. The powerhead is made by Dust Care from ESSCO/Buckeye. I love it but it's much cheaper than alot of powerheads and they don't really last as long as alot of powerheads. Other than that and with it's burnt out headlight (The light bulb has since been replaced), it still does a great job because it vibrates and grooms the carpet really well with it's steel brushroll with replaceable brushstrips, but it's definitely not quiet at all. I would recommend this powerhead to anyone that is looking for the cheapest Entry-Level powerhead. You notice that the powerhead does have a strip on top because sometimes this house gets rented out and there are some really soft rugs that are not meant to be vacuumed off so they just make sure that no one else breaks things inside the house. Highly recommend getting a MD central vacuum because they are one of the BEST SYSTEMS EVER. Although if you want a better powerhead, I would consider looking for something a little more expensive like a Stealth (Which is the top of the line powerhead from MD).
    Hope you enjoyed!
    UPDATE 11/1/17: This house has since been sold and my Uncle no longer owns this vacuum.

    That's funny cuz that powerhead was made by Panasonic and also sold as the Kenmore whispertone canister vac. My mom had a blue one in the early 90s. The power head was awful cuz the bristles were too soft and didn't deep clean very well. Looks like you have a combo of real thick pile and Shag carpeting which is perfect for a powerhead with soft bristles but didn't work well on my mom's deep pile carpeting.. I'd love to have a central vac but they're just not very common in the southeast

      The powerhead is actually made by Dust Care from ESSCO.

      Kip Paseo They're common here in Alabama. Especially in the neighborhood I live in. I've even used one before. I recently moved into a house with central vac pipes going through the walls in it but the previous owners never finished installing it. I asked my dad if we could get it finished but he told me he doesn't want to spend too much money and that the vacuum cleaner we own is just fine.

    i HATE how the chord winds up the metal poll... what if you want to use a bare floor attachment !! I need one that is wired into the poll and clips in with power at the cleaning end of the poll and the hose

      @panasonicvac4036  6 років тому

      You don't have to use the wands of the powerhead, you can just simply buy separate wands to fit the bare floor tool on and the cheapest ones are like less than $6.

    "Please do not use to vacuum rugs. Vacuum will break." Um... what kind of vacuum doesn't clean rugs? Also, what rugs are they talking about, small throw rugs or large ones where you put coffee tables, chairs, etc. on them?

    • @panasonicvac4036
      @panasonicvac4036  3 роки тому +1

      Bathroom rugs, not only it would break this cheapo powerhead but it also would damage the rugs.

    Hi i'm thinking of fitting a Flo Master in a ventilated cupboard as my garage is not attached. Can you tell me how noisy they are? I don't want to order it if it's going to make an annoying noise :) Thanks

    • @panasonicvac4036
      @panasonicvac4036  7 років тому

      It's not that loud but it's not quiet by any means. You would need to add a muffler on if you want the machine to be quieter.

      Do you live in a condo or an apartment. Cuz if you do there's a new one out on the market and it's called Ekonovac, it's made to go into a closet or until really small space and you can hook the hose directly to the unit you don't have to have any kind of pipes ran through your house and the road real and expensive the better system runs right about I think 615

      This hose he described basically. Why in the world would I want to use a PVC hose, one of the dumbest ideas for a central vac honestly. I highly doubt he's used many hoses before. And zero resistance? C'mon man. There's a reason why bigger houses need a bigger or more powerful unit.

    "Please do not use to vacuum rugs. Vacuum will break." What twit wrote that?! I Have never seen such a thing like that happen in my life!! What's the point of having a power head if you can't do rugs?!! What a ludicrous notice!!

    • @panasonicvac4036
      @panasonicvac4036  5 років тому +1

      While I do appreciate your concern, I didn't however appreciate your comment. Obviously you never read my description or any of the comments and you probably know little about central vacs so I'm going to clarify to you here. This house had some VERY delicate rugs, this powerhead is VERY aggressive, and there's no breaker to cut the powerhead off immediately from picking up various objects. The powerhead does however have a reset button but it's only for when it overheats, otherwise it would just take a while to trip and would already damage a part on the powerhead. This is a really cheap powerhead. It's not meant to last or have features you would find on the top of the line powerheads like Sebo, Lindhaus, or Riccar for example. These people were smart enough to put a strip there so that the renters wouldn't break stuff inside the house. I mean c'mon, they didn't bought this powerhead on purpose, it came with the house. Otherwise it wouldn't be my first choice to get. Next time you comment on something like this, do some research first.

      China is one of the better countries that stuff is made in if you have the right manufacture I’m not saying China has the highest quality I am just saying if you have like a brand like Miele They will manufacture something in China pretty much at the same cost as what they do in Germany and same quality
