Having sold cars much of my life I understand Mr Haney..lol This is good old televison. My Mom passed away 10 yrs ago and although I did not really get her love of Green Acres now I do. She loved this show like no other. And what I would give to watch it with her one more time. Nice to see some still appreciate the simple stuff. God bless all :)
I love how Oliver is the only sane person in Hooterville, but then I remember that he tries to work his fields in a suit and tie and I realise he is actually the most insane of them all. Arnold told me that.
Mr. Douglas getting constantly interrupted by everyone else, especially Mr. Haney (like at 2:03 in this video) is one of the funniest things on the show, in my opinion!
@@djhutcherson6761 also, how lisa didnt want to leave nyc, but she fits in with everyone more then oliver! she is as screwy as all the other residents of hooterville!
also i love it, when he starts to give his speech about the american farmer, and the fife starts to play, everyone hears it but oliver, and sometimes lisa has to tell the fife player to stop since the speech is over.
If you really want to see the full humor in this show, you should smoke some your favorite herb. I'm pretty sure that some of the writers did when they wrote some of the shows.
How much is 47 yen really in dollars?
According to Google, at the current rate of exchange, 47 yen is equivalent to 33 cents in US currency, lol! 😁
Haney is the kind of business man who would try to sell someone a flat tire and say it's only flat on the bottom all you need to do is turn it over.
I love how Mr. Haney charges to answer questions.

well, don't forget he may be a farmer but he's also a lawyer so he's got to look the part
Sam was the most sensible.
I love seeing this show again
You'll never get actors like that anymore!!
Mr. Haney is a. " GEN - U - WHINE " salesman.
Before Mr Krabs, there was Mr Haney.
The funniest thing is how everybody cuts off Oliver's sentences!
Brian Battles oh for the lo ve of.
LOVE PAT BUTTRAM WITH ALL MY HEART AND ALWAYS WILL
My favorite best part of the green acres, mr haney
I met Mr. Haney, (Pat Buttram) while grocery shopping. He couldn't have been nicer and went on and on about Green Acres. I believe the year was 1988.
@@autumn1231 I can imagine how much more pronounced his voice became as he got older
@@rotunda57 he definitely had that twang working for him.
@@autumn1231 Did he try and sell you something?
You gotta love Haney !
The first time I saw Eddie Albert was in ‘ Oklahoma’ when his character had a Mobile General Store too !
They must have been good customers at local junk shops and scrap yards to find the items Mr Haney sold to Mr Douglas.
Haney , he is an opportunist.
Cindy Rogers That he is, that he is!
Just like edge
I would have punched Haney's lights out.
Mr. Haney isn't hard to get along with. In fact no one in Green Acres was hard to get along with.
this show reminds me of the three stooges. does anyone ever notice oliver usually never gets to finish a sentence!

Exactly! The writers of the show (Jay Sommers & Dick Chevilat) were brilliant!

Eddie Albert was a great straight man and foil.
Mr Haney couid sell a flea collar to Bigfoot
2:29 - Mr. Haney promotes breaking and entering.
Beyond great.
Any Mr Haney scene always stole the whole show
Mr. Haney: You're just in time, Mr. Douglas was gonna break your store. Mr. Douglas: I wasn't!
And there ladies and gentlemen is the basics of how Google makes its money.
2:48 federal burglar's institute?! i thought FBI stood for federal bikini inspector!
Or Female Body Inspector(The Other Guys)
Wow, I'm so offended.
Found out mr Haney is my cousin pat burttram
This got me crying!!
FBI
If they ever make a reboot of Green Acres, I think the best actor to play Mr. Kimbal would be Patrick Warburton.
Philosophical representation of government 🤓
Difficult 😮salesman
Precious

My Haney looks like Ted Cruz, but I think Mr. Haney was more honest than Ted.
Deals like Trump
@@mikejones-go8vzCruz, Trump, and even Haney are far more honest than the criminals in the Dummycrat party
