While trying to solve Hooterville's bug problem, Oliver decides to rent a crop dusting plane from a local airplane service, only to find out that it is run by Mr. Haney.
As a kid i was too young to stay up and watch the show, but, back in 1965 BC ( before cable) the Audio signal was sent via the FM band to keep up with the the Video signal to the aerials. So I used a Radio to listen to the show in my room as i also heard it from down stairs . Pat Buttram was one of the Actors know as "Quasi-modo's" to Agents because.......while their names weren't familiar , "The face rings a bells" .
I grew up watching Green Acres, Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction etc and they were terrific. The ensambl cast put together for Green Acres was a stroke of genius. Mr. Heney, Mr. Kimbal, The Ziffels, and of course Arnold the pig. No vulgarity or sex appeal, a little Lisa maybe, but all in all just good simple fun.
Hilarious.I wouldn't trust a tricycle from Haney.I watched this when new, and had some really cool paper dolls of Lisa and Oliver, when I was a kid. They were of thick cardboard, glossy, and colorful.

This show was, and is, hilarious. There are so many idiots on it, and they each have their own kind of comedy. What is even funnier is when Oliver's mom comes to visit from NYC. She is a rich snob, and treats Lisa as if she were her daughter, and treats Oliver like he were her son-in-law who wasn't well liked. Then some of the local men want to date her, and that turns her off fast. I wish full eps were on You Tube.

mr. haney made that show! the 'gouger.' too outrageous. i think the best one was when he sold the phone company 'lock stock n' barrel' to oliver. he made a lotta' people laugh.
I was just devastated when Eva Gabor died. She was the main reason that I watched this show. If she had ever left the show, I would have stopped watching it. Eva may be gone ( it'll be exactly 17 years this Fourth of July since she passed away), but she's definitely not forgotten. To me, she is still alive and she's here today in spirit. And I plan to visit her grave, as well as Eddie Albert's and Merv Griffin's, the next time that I go out to Los Angeles.

Norwood Builder Joking aside, which I'm all for when it comes to talking about politicians, we have to worry more about the intelligence level of the people supporting the politicians than we do about the politicians themselves. Politicians will do and say whatever they have to, whether true or not, in order to gain some type of self-serving benefit from it. So as long as the people buy into what a politician is saying as being the truth, the politician will keep saying it. It is up to the public to not just blindly believe what a politician is saying, but to do their own research and fact checking on it. Unfortunately, too many people are willfully ignorant and apathetic towards politicians' self-serving agendas.
