Richard Deacon, aka Fred Rutherford from the "Leave it to Beaver" TV program. From 4:09-4:16 the "Leave it to Beaver" facade house is seen, on Universal Studios back lot street of suburban houses. "Leave it to Beaver" and the "Munsters" had the same writers for both of the shows, hence a "sharing" of some of the same actors from both shows. My mother was working for Universal Studios during this time frame. Great writers greatly contributed to the success of both of these shows. They are still funny, and poignant more than 50 years later! Thanks for posting this!
The one thing that amazed me about this show was that the Munsters lived at Mockingbird Lane their whole lives but people still get weirded out by them and/or freaked out by them. Man, I miss this show so much.
When I was a boy, I thought Grampa was SO cool! With his white tie and tails and his lab in the dungeon and the pet bat named Igor and the way he used to hum while he mixed up his crazy potions as a mad scientist. Well, alright, I will admit it. I STILL think he's pretty cool! LOL!
@@hamtramckchronicles Oh I agree with you! But I was referring to the character he played, not the actor himself! LOL! I LOVE Al Lewis. I actually went to his restaurant once in New York City back in the 90's. He wasn't there that night which really disappointed me.
Always loved watching a ceegar smoking vampire. This show should have lasted longer. Cancelled way too soon. Can you imagine Bela Lagosi guesting on this if he were alive. Blahblahblahblahblood.
the 1 hour half time show to keep viewers interested for the 2nd half in case the game is a blow out A 6 hour game with around 15 minutes of actual game
My FAVORITE Munsters episode was when the banged up mayor and the cops fled from the Munsters house...got into the police car...drove off...leaving the mayor behind, who despite his injuries OUTRAN the police vehicle. 3:41 This part is JUST as funny. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I would love to subscribe if it was the whole show because I love The Munsters I guess I got to play it from my DVD instead because watching 9 minutes of a 22 minute show is not my thing
I can't be the only one that's noticed the displacement of Herman's forehead scar. At 302 it's on the left side of his forehead. At 306, it's on the other side of his head.
I guess the Censors would not allow Grampa to have canine fangs....so not to scare the kids watching. What do you think? A vampire without fangs...ain't no Vampire, lol! Same for Lilly...as his daughter...

Herman and grampa's reaction to the guys breaking into the basement is priceless
Yeah, they're more scared LOL!
Them running away is even more priceless. 😂🤣😂
❤️ gandpa& Herman monster hangouts

And the perfect additional elements for the fun lampooning of those lesson keeping Cleavers.
This is hillarious when he falls off the truck and runs past it. JUST DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER!!!!

I used to love watching this after school in the 80s
@Joshy Diamond The 80s repeats !
It ran in syndication on TBS cable during the 1980's.
Me too
I watched it after school in the 70s and 80s and I still watch it now and I'm 56

Al Lewis is not any mere actor. He is an ICON!

OG. Original Gangsta!
I was fortunate enough to have met him and I would run into
afterwards a bunch of times, really cool down to earth man.
I watched this in the late 1960's as a little girl..I loved it then i love the Munsters now! Happy Hoildays in spite of the pandemic.
Love ❤️ the sped up film 📼 when the workers got scared. Love ❤️ the music 🎶 they play with it, too❗️

Priceless, just Priceless!!!! Herman and Grandpa are two peas in a pod.... I grew up watching them, so very funny!!!! Still watching..... 🤣🤣🤣🖤🖤🖤......
Everyone’s probably watching the Super Bowl but to me this is more entertaining
the 1 hour half time show to keep viewers interested for the 2nd half in case the game is a blow out A 6 hour game with around 15 minutes of actual game
Wish they made more episodes
I remember after school watching this in the sixties, lived in chicago, I think it was on WFLD-32.
My FAVORITE Munsters episode was when the banged up mayor and the cops fled from the Munsters house...got into the police car...drove off...leaving the mayor behind, who despite his injuries OUTRAN the police vehicle.

This clip is from season 1 episode 5 called Pike's Pique first aired October 22 1964 it's a good episode too bad it's not all there
I thought that Herman's wider head was from season 2.
Gosh 1964 I was 8 watching 2024
I always loved it when Grandpa’s lab would blow up and he would go flying in the air and get stuck in the rafters.
Fred Rutherford, Lumpy's Daddy from "Leave it to Beaver".
Also Schneider from one day at a time.
Ward Cleaver works in the same building
Spotty get away from the door... 😆
2:53 - A guest appearance by the Addams Family's Thing!
u notice they never mow tha lawn
Don't you know? The abandoned, unkempt look is the latest trend.
It takes me back home
These shows were surreal.Gorden T. Pike
Love it
It would be so cool to have a dungeon!!!
Jane Withers is still kicking😊

Yvonne De Carlo was so hot it was just unbelievable.
Eddy grew up and became a member of
AC / DC .
???

Just realized Pat Harrington, the one with the glasses, played one of the guys in the office taking about the pipeline.
In one scene the scar on Herman’s head is on the right side and another scene it’s on the left!
The man with the glasses was in one day at a time, he played the Superintendent Schneider
Grandpa is the only cigar smoking vampire I know.
Oh it’s Melvin Cooley
What's the episode is called again? Cause it's so funny.
"Pike's Pique" is the title.
We will always feel well, when we take the best health precautions and natural "scare" tactics seriously. Stay safe everyone!
I wonder if Grandpa accepts HMO's. I'm looking to switch doctors
Snyder...one day at a time
great
Isn't that the "I Dream of Jeannie" house at 4:15?
One bad thing about this TV Show not enough season and episodes
Reiner!
Did Herman take Lily's last name? Because I'm pretty sure Grandpa is still called Grandpa Munster.
Of course Herman Munster
Mrs Kravits
Its mel😁
The bit players are very compitent always in this 2 season hilarity..
this is Pikes Peak episode not unwelcome guest
Trump 2020 !!!!
It's a shame most of these shows were in black & white, they had very colorful outfits.
😮😮😮😮😮😮
And get a haircut!
Joe is a joke !
