Thanks for the comment our idea is that you get to feel like you’re on the bike with us both really glad you’re enjoying our videos we have lots more to come we’re only halfway!!
Being alive and traveling on the motorbike and seeing new things is great. The weather is incidental. My father used to say that Meteorology is the only job you can do, get it wrong so often and still have a job!😂
Thanks for the great comment mate and your right traveling on a motorbike is like nothing else no matter what the weather. If you have the right gear even riding in the rain can be enjoyable especially in such amazing surroundings as the Grossglockner. Thanks for watching J&S 👍🏍
😂 That remark on the Stelvio... brilliant! We love the Grossglockner... but it is sooooo expensive! we decided that we only will do that road again with beautifull weather and if we can go up and down and up and down at least three times 😂
😂 Yeah the Stelvio wasn’t Joanne’s favorite road that’s for sure. We were a bit disappointed with the weather at the Grossglockner but still an amazing road and a great place to visit we didn’t so much mind the price a road like that must take a lot of money to maintain!!! Keep watching we love your comments thanks again J & S 👍🏍
Shame the weather was poor on the top, but I bet an enjoyable ride still. I agree, riding in the rain is enjoyable in a weird way. Thanks for sharing, as it's the road I'm planning on taking next year when I drop down into the Dolomites. Thx G
The weather was really bad but we loved it anyway the Grossglockner is an amazing road somewhere we’ll definitely go back to.Stay tuned in the next episode we explore the Dolomites. Thanks for watching J&S 🏍👍
@@jsmotorcyclediaries1290 Certainly looking forward to the Dolomites. My plan is to take a tent and do some camping, but if the weather is bad or the bones ache a bit too much, hotels is the way to go. Looking forward to your recommendations. Thx G
We did our 2500 mile tour down to Lake Como and back up through Grossglockner late September.. we were lucky with weather.. sunshine all way round..just lucky...
Yeah the weather was not on our side this time but still really enjoyable we’ll have to go back to the Grossglockner sometime. Thanks for watching J&S 👍🏍
Brilliant as usual , it was the third time of asking before we got a clear dry run over GG, did you see the speed cameras on the big pole the look like trees on the way into Cortina !! you can see them at 25 mins on your vlog. Regards Robert & Carolyn.
I stayed in the same hotel two years ago after doing Grossglockner in the sunshine 😎. Unfortunately for a group of german bikers, Grossglockner was closed for bikes the day I left (terrible weather). They decided to stay another night and go the road the next day 🏍👍.
Hi Keith thanks for commenting The Post hotel is a lovely hotel we really enjoyed our stay there. The Grossglockner is an amazing road guess it’s just your luck if you get the weather we’ll definitely go back someday. Thanks for watching J&S 👍🏍🏍
