How do you know the brown wire is the ground? Can you chose to ground it just to a metal piece instead of that brown wire?

how much to install for my car chrysler 300c ?
I’m looking to get ambient lighting for my new A3 (2024) . Not got the car yet .
Just looking for the cheapest place in London to get it done .

About to do this to my 2022 s3 as the ambient light option is discontinued now even tho I specd it, is that connection a permanent live or a switched live
They are constant lives in the doors, well constant for a few mins after you lock the car.
The centre where the main command light is connected is the important one.
I would also recommend changing the kit used here to an LED bead or LED symphony kit. Check my other videos. I think that will look even better here
Are you sure that the connection to the 12v on the port is correct? the control units remain always active even when the car is off and this causes damage to the battery. In 8/10 months it runs out, in my opinion.
Yep its working great still from being set up there. The main control turns off with the car and therefore it wont allow any of the others to stay on and function since they are off. I hope that clears up the question.
Give it a try, with the car off, approach with another car that has the same rgb kit on and you will see that the door control units light up and stay on until the car moves away. Only the doors, the central dashboard is not. Let me know thanks

It looks pretty good for me, the led on the feet looks a bit rice but the led on the doors look really good.
