Thanks for the video! Did you notice your winch rope is coming off the spool at a bad angle out the front? I had this issue while installing mine and following the SATV instructions. The one they showed was spun the opposite way and came out correct in the photo. So we have two choices. Flip the winch horizontally on the mount, which puts a wire lug into the front plastic. Or rewind it in reverse and wire it backwards which is what SATV cusomer service suggested I do. I was worried the gearing was not built for that but they assure me it is.
Did your box in the center of the dash go back in? I just installed the same winch on my pro xp and mounted the solenoid in the same spot and the box hits it when I tried to drop it back into the dash?
I have the 4500 pound winch I'm putting on a pro r and just like mine when you mounted the winch on the mount it looks like it will pull down once it enters the fairlead instead of going straight in and over the top of the spool. Do you run it like that or were you able to change the direction of the rope? any issues?
I was able to swap the cables attached to winch( blue on yellow and yellow on blue) and made it wind the opposite way. Now mine pulls straight over top the spool and around
With the size of the wire for the winch I just prefer to have it direct to the battery. The dash Pulse Plugs use a much smaller gauge wire from what I have seen.

Goldens best pup's
The are great dogs!
Wanted to know if you considered getting metal spacers and longer bolts to install the bumper? Curious if that option would work here?
I'm not sure that would work with the design of the bumper. Interesting idea though. May have to take a closer look at that.

Why didn't u just plug it in under the dash

40 amp isnt enough. 1.9 hp on 12v is over 100 amps
Is this a 6000lb winch
