That would save me some work on designing a similar one :)
I used to use a spreaded-legs-tripod for ground shots, but when the object moves you can not simply roll that tripod over the ground as you can with that ground pod :)
Will print one for myself, too :)

In these hours we have more like a winter storm after a sunny spring week.
@@peterebel7899 same here. I’ve been out 4 days in a row trying to shoot a video but no birds in sight and the weather was horrible

It’s the Asivik LiteMat 15. Very light and durable but not super compact. I bought mine in a local store but you can get it online as well

Thanks! I created the file from scratch and did all the drawing myself. I didn’t come up with the idea of a circular ground pod as there are a few products like this on the market but I designed it as thought it would work best 😊

Nice! What do you use for a Weather Cover over your LensCoat?
I used a regular long lens rain cover but for the last month I’ve been in the arctic having my camera completely covered in salt water splashes every day for a month without issues so I will probably not use rain covers in the future with this setup

Its’s a nice walk out there, but when the shore birds and owls doesn’t show up it feels a bit unproductive :)
At least the weather was good and the ground pod worked out!
