Dude you rule! I Love every video you put together. Thank you for your time.
Thanks so much for the kind words. I am happy to hear the videos are helping you!
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! You are literally saving me!
Hi Angelo! I love your video tutorials. Thank you for that share with us. I have 2 questions and hope that you help me. 1. How to import images with transparent shadow from photoshop to Indesign? Exactly like in your tutorial with luggage. 2. It's about an interactive catalog or product guide. Our customers want only interactive pdf that we send via WhatsApp, not LINK. But the interactive catalog that I saved did not work and opened properly in a smartphone. Do you have any solution that solved this problem? Thank you for your time.
All videos are very useful
Can you help me with some tips on how to make a magazine cover in augmented reality
welcome
Hi Angelo, another great tutorial. If I wanted to have the animation fly in from the right (instead of left), would have to insert a page after that correct?
Hi Darren, no you don't have to add another page. Set the Animation Fly in from Right and extend the right side of the motion path further to the right if you want to extend the distance of its travel. That is optional but you for sure have to check the "Hidden Until Animated" box at the bottom so the object doesn't appear until it's animated.
Hello Angelo, thank you for this great video! I don't know, if you have the time to read all the comments! I have a question, I have a button connected to several animations - connected to mp3 sounds. I would like to upload the whole thing to Apple as a picture book. On my computer in the Epub preview, the animations run perfectly after having pushed the button. When I test in Apple Ibooks, the appropriate sounds are not always played. Thanks so much in advance for your help! (Can't you make a video about it, an interactive picture book almost like little mini-games?) Greetings from France, Judith
Hi there. I am not sure I grasp what you mean. Feel free to email me a link to your published work and I can have a quick look and help if I can.
Your tutorials are really useful. Thank you for your good explanations. Can you tell me how to put this file on the website!
Sonia, there are a couple ways. From InDesign, you can go to File > Export > HTML, but what you see in the layout, isn't what you get when you export this way. This method will package the js, html and images which you can hand off to a developer to add to your website. It's a bit complex, I know. The other way is using the In5 extension, which is subscription based. But it does allow you to publish directly from InDesign to your own server and it maintains the layout from Id.
Hi great tutrail. What is the version of indesign do you use??
I am on the newest version now - 2024 (19.0).
Is using InDesign a viable option to create websites?
I'm pretty good with it but I heard people say that you shouldn't use it for websites.
Hey there! I mean, you could. It's all html/js based when using the interactive tools. In fact before Xd, I believe InDesign was used a lot for prototyping websites. You're still going to need someone with coding experience when you export from InDesign to HTML. But to answer your question, yes you very much can.
