My best BFmoment was at Nelson Bay BFBC2 Entered a building being chased out of ammo. Met a whole squad in the staircase. Somehow i got all of them with the Russian Export Revolver. Instead of releasing BF 2042, they should have continued supporting BF V. Imagine the following: For new Maps/ scenarios/battles: Poland 1939, Denmark 1940, Paris 1940, Dunkirk 1940, Air battle for England 1940, Moscow 1941, Stalingrad 1942, Kursk 1943, Normandy 1944, Belgium winter 1944, Berlin 1945. Fractions: Soviets, France, Poland, Denmark and other smaller fractions. And for vehicles and weapons they could have added way more, just look at games like war thunder... Honestly, Dice could have kept the game running for many more years
Thats the thing with EA games they get good only after few years after launch and they stop supporting it for some reason same thing happened with battlefront 2

Just started playing BF3 again, love the maps but BF4 is still my favorite for game play and balance. BF 1 and 5 for visuals and some new features but over all BF4 is the best. BF 4 had the best setup for classes, weapons, attachments, spawns locations, the ability to change just about anything while in a match. IMO it had the best UI interface of all of them.
Bf4 has terrible tick rate and hitreg. Also the servers are mostly run by cheaters or people making money off cheaters. They all run buyable whitelist or buyable admin for cheaters.
Great video, however it is disappointing that BC2 didn't at least get an honorable mention, unless I missed it. battlefield 4 is what i consider to be the peak of battlefield. the attachments system, the weapon variety, classes, equipment, just everything about it is where i think battlefield should be and expand on. on of the worst things later games did was drop the TTK to insane degrees and turn the games into twitchy in your face hyper fast garbage like battlefield 5 is. it's made even worse by the absolutely abysmal equipment selections in entries past bf4. in 4 you can have fun with the game and not even enter the fray while still being incredibly useful to your team. take the MAV for instance. a single MAV (in non hardcore) can help massively sway a match in your favor giving the enemy nowhere to hide and being able to take out enemy beacons, explosives, and deployable equipment in general. i just wish we could get what the series deserves or just release a remaster of bf4 with another round of DLC lmao.
BF1 and 4 are my favourites, played both on console and 1 on PC, getting 4 soon, the sound design of BF1 is amazing, especially when charging maps like St Quentin's Scar, explosions to the left and a heavy tank to the right and the music kicks in.

I started playing it again this week and although it obviously still needs more work, I actually had fun playing it for the first time. Curious to know your thoughts on the game as of now. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it! I actually have a video up about my latest thoughts on 2042, including Season 1 content: ua-cam.com/video/p74cqON6rzg/v-deo.html But the TL:DW is, its definitely improved and the new map is a ton of fun that's made me actually want to play more, but its all way too little way too late. I wish they spent as much time with the variety of weapons in Battlefield I as they did with Battlefield V. Not that I'm complaining about V, they've been very generous. But WWI was the first major war where automatic weapons were still mad science, with the manufacturers being nearly as diverse as the nationalities that participated in it. Anyway, it's hard to complain about much else with Battlefield I. Aside from the few details pointed out in the video.
Bf4, bfV, bf1 all look and play amazing and still have plenty of players on PlayStation.. Hardline does aswell but I wasn’t really much of a fun of that.. My favourite bf4 Best made I’d say BF1 👍🏻❤️
bf1 is way better. like you said vehicle spam in bf4 is outragous!!!!!!!!!! there arent and rocket launcher spamers in bf1. no bs guided lock on missiles.
I liked BF4 but its getting old now, I tried BFV but its not doing it for me, I only play BF1 now, it is really polished, feels great and is still going strong
BF4 is still the best modern shooter that's available. "It's getting old" in what way? The fact that BF4 was released in October 2013 don't mean nothingm due the fantastic gameplay the game offers. Even when the game is 50 years oldm it don't matter if the gameplay is good.
Battlefield V literally has the worst movement and gunplay out of all of these games. Bullets are off-center and don't go to where your aim and spread is converted to random uncontrollable recoil. The games attrition system is terrible and movement is way slower and less skillful than in BFH, BF4 or BF3.
I picked up bf 4 a few days ago for 6 pounds. That's insane! It's gorgeous an I keep takin screenshots lol the campaign is fun an it still has online. Modern is my fave but I will be grabbing bf1 an 5 too. I started with bf2 pc an then bf1 an then bad company 1 an 2 then bf 3. My faves are bad company 2. 3. An 4 ❤
It would’ve been nice if BFV was finished with the promised content . The community complained until EA gave up on it & moved on to their worst BF ever 2042 . Would’ve been nice to have the Soviet campaign & maybe finish Europe with D-Day , maybe Market garden , Battle of Bulge , Berlin etc.
There are some aspects of gameplay in BF V, which I enjoy most. BF 1 is all in all perhaps the best of the mentioned games. Still, I sometimes find the poison gas, horse riding, and antique tanks immersive, but less fun than the gameplay and vehicles in BF V. So, yeah, I agree that BF V, BF 1, BF 4 are actually the Battlefield games I enjoy most. And now after 2042 flop they want to bring another near-future scenario. WTF? I liked the historical themed ones more. DICE, please make another BF Vietnam, or something entirely different for a change instead of trying to chase CoD for what the current trend is in terms of sales. EA/DICE you want to make money, I get it. I feel it is not easy, but fairly simple. IF you want to make money, bring out a full-featured game with 0.2% bugs and good performance on state-of-art machines at release, 99.8% cheater-proof, great maps, no special skill operatives with weapon choices all you can carry, great weapons and gunplay, good to control vehicles, not too many strange gameplay experiments, accurate and fast netcode, great sound and graphics, maps with great layout and not too little or too cluttered assets, and useful matchmaking... and there you have it. I might have forgotten a detail or two, but really, please go back to the roots and make a good game instead of running after trends with woke operatives, who run around with OP skills looking like stupid clone wars on Earth. Please don't try to imitate CoD, or Apex, or Valorant, just because they are the hot shit at the moment. Instead, please seriously work with the community and listen. There are more BF vets in the gamer field, than in the studio. And quite a few have been playing BF already while you were still sitting at school learning the math skills needed for coding.
BF1 still has plenty of full servers. And gameplay wise I prefer BF1 over BF5. BF5 also feels rushed and incomplete. BF1 covered the Western front, Eastern Front, and Middle Eastern front of WW1. BF5 initially only covered Britain vs. Germany, and after a year or two added the Pacific theatre. It completely neglected the Eastern front. The Eastern front is where the majority of the fighting took place. It's where the war in Europe was truly won and lost. It saw bigger losses of human life and war material than the entire rest of the war. BF5 also could have included Finland in the Winter War and Continuation War. BF1 could maybe have added some of the Balkan conflicts. But at least they covered much of the primary fronts. BF5 completely excluded the biggest front of the entire war. It also added a bunch of fake, woke stories as the campaigns. Instead of playing as Max Manus or Kan Baalsrud in the Norwegian story mode, you play as a fictional woman going through events that never took place, with people who never existed. If they wanted a female lead character, they could have made her a Soviet sniper. The Soviet Union did utilize some female snipers, and some of them were famous for their actions in the war. But no, they had to make it a British lady with a cybernetic arm. Why not give everyone laser guns at that point?
BF4 is the battlefield gameplay loop perfected, BF1 is for a more realistic and survival approach (the campaign is great), BFV is the same but more casual, and BF2042 is working fine on consoles at least, they are reworking maps and now is a better experience, but is way far from the BF4 experience
As someone who has only played BF3 and 4 way way back when they released I had this thought of going back to Battlefield but didn’t know which to go and play so this was very good video 👍
It's funny with hardline on ps4, we all know each other lmao. Like everyone who plays hardline to this day knows each other across the world pretty much by name. It's crazy
The one reason why people (new players) might not like to play BF4 is the fact that it's close to impossible to have fun in 90% of the vehicles until you unlock the fun stuff... which takes even longer because you need the fun stuff (or just the survival stuff) to even just "take off" and make points to unlock more stuff. For example, starting to play with jets gives you... only the jet's machine gun. No flares and no missiles/rockets. As soon as you get in the air with a jet, you're facing people with homing missiles, vehicle perks that makes them X or Y and basically shoot you down within 20s from being in the air while, at best, you might have made a 50-80... maybe 100-150 points for that jet progression. You need to do that about 10 times just to unlock the flares. While you're doing that, you also basically revoke the access to your jet from players who could use it to help the team which is another bummer. (So you give easy points to the opposite team, revoke 1 jet to your team and you feel pathetic from being shot down so fast.) Ground vehicles and choppers are a tiny bit easier because you can join as a gunner and rack assist points and kill points to unlock the vehicles perks and weapons. Battlefield I and Battlefield V, at least, offers some good base with the vehicles and while the unlocked perks does help a lot, you can still relatively rack up points even with the default version of the vehicle.
An older game, Frontlines:Fuel of war is the best battlefield type game I've experienced outside of battlefield. A ridiculous amount of vehicles, unique soldier classes/perks and huge maps. plus it had 100 player servers on consoles which was way before its time. It was by no means a perfect game, but it was really fun
I honestly love battlefield V. The historic inaccuracies are kinda annoying but besides that it’s so fun! Everything is better in that game compared to the other games imo
I go back and forth between 4 and V. I rarely play 1 because i cant stand 1) MORTARS (fuck that shit) 2) Bloom (i've lost countless gun fights because of this) 3) Grenade and Gas spam 4) Sweet spot mechanic for sniping
I always like battlefield 1 and the gunplay system. It's unique assault rifles didn't exist during World war I So there really isn't an in-between Swiss Army knife weapon In that game, every weapon serves a purpose. The game is very rock paper scissors And the scout class is interesting because of the sweet spot mechanic which it forces the player to use a specific rifle depending on their playstyle I Didn't really like the variant weapon system either would have rather seen an attachment system instead But that game is rock solid in my opinion
Battlefield 1 is my absolute favourite Battlefield game. I loved the campaign but I did find it to be a bit short would have loved more stories, haven't gotten to multiplayer yet but I hear it's great.
One thing that should be noted for console players: graphically, BF4 has not aged well AT ALL in its console form. It's off-putting enough that I actually put down the game because of that. On Xbox (where I play) it's particularly bad because the game's locked to 720p even on next-gen, making firefights and vehicle play even more frustrating at most engagement ranges.
I have not stopped playing BF4 since it came out. I have also not purchased on single BF title since BF4, nor played any betas and I don't feel like I've missed a thing. BF4 is still AWESOME!

I love BF1 and BF4. The BF4 map set on islands that has a hurricane come through and a huge battleship gets beached - that was epic, love that map.
Been playing bf4 sense on 360 switched to xbox one and now ps4 and i still play the game still has populated servers had good gun customization great maps great gameplay overall love the game love the world war bf games but i enjoy the modern style and sadly 2042 isn't the successor like bf3 and bf4 long live bf4
This was a really informative and professional video! I will stick with BF5 because I am used to the mechanics from previous games and I like the graphics and the sound a lot. Thank you for your oppinion on this, it helped me a lot!
Glad you found it helpful!
BF3 is the best with no comparison
BFV is underrated and is my favorite
Very underrated
@Punggles
1st BattleField 3 is one of my favorite but doesn't work cause there is no available servers and second PunkBuster kick you all the time without reason.
2nd Hardline is one of my favorite but doesn't work cause there is no available servers and second PunkBuster kick you all the time without reason.
3rd BattleField 4 is one of my favorite but doesn't work cause there is no available servers and second PunkBuster kick you all the time without reason.
4th Battlefield 1 is one of stable and working but i don't like it.
5th Battlefield 5 is my Best Favorite of All and works Excellent that one i suggest to everyone.
Battlefield 3 cannot be beaten, played it ever since it came out in 2011.
Agreed it was the peak of the series for me too.
BF5 on pc is plaged with cheaters thought...... like in every server 24/7
Yes unfortunately one of the biggest knocks against it
I like the Behemoth system in BF1, I wish DICE add that feature in next Battlefield + the atmosphere too
BF5 is honestly a blast nowadays.
I really enjoy it
Wish more people shared your opinion 😫
on xbox BF4 is really active there is a beautiful Grom x Memories of Veteran server running good dlc maps
Good to know!
Battlefield 1 feels real and pretty chaotic at times. Also, it makes you feel for the tragedy of WW1.
💯
Yeah, and a paradise for cheaters....
Battlefield 1 and 4 are probably my all time favourite games from the franchise.
🤘
4, it's always been 4. Just trust me play BF4
More weapon variety & a revamp to the variant system would have been amazing
Bf4, bfV, bf1 all look and play amazing and still have plenty of players on PlayStation..
Hardline does aswell but I wasn’t really much of a fun of that..
My favourite bf4
Best made I’d say BF1 👍🏻❤️
The only problem BF4 had was the poor netcode...
bf1 is way better. like you said vehicle spam in bf4 is outragous!!!!!!!!!! there arent and rocket launcher spamers in bf1. no bs guided lock on missiles.
No lock ons is so great
For me its mix of bf4 and bf5 depending on how I feel
I liked BF4 but its getting old now,
I tried BFV but its not doing it for me,
I only play BF1 now, it is really polished,
feels great and is still going strong
Love to see it
BF4 is still the best modern shooter that's available.
"It's getting old" in what way?
The fact that BF4 was released in October 2013 don't mean nothingm due the fantastic gameplay the game offers.
Even when the game is 50 years oldm it don't matter if the gameplay is good.
dont play bf4 because it is FILLED WITH VEHICLE SWEATS even if ur an amazing engineer you will get massacred by them trust me its not fun anymore
Vehicle spam is a real problem in 4 for sure
Battlefield v for the movements and gunplay, battlefield 1 for the immersion and battlefield 4 just because
Great summary.
@@Punggles definitely v more because like you said no 3d spotting except for class specific gadgets
@@shaynefuller2945 3d spotting is terrible, I loved 5's implementation.
@@Punggles totally agree.
Battlefield V literally has the worst movement and gunplay out of all of these games.
Bullets are off-center and don't go to where your aim and spread is converted to random uncontrollable recoil.
The games attrition system is terrible and movement is way slower and less skillful than in BFH, BF4 or BF3.
if you are a newcomer and cant seem to "git gud" against lifeless mfs of bf4, try ww3 out its good
Just played it for the first time! Pretty fun game
BF 4 still have a lot of servers available and full of players.
Man how I wish they didn’t abandon BFV. Release was horrible but it was on its path to greatness
BF1 is too immersive to be compared to anything else!
Unmatched immersion for sure!
first of all, all these three games are good and for me the best is BF1 and BFV
My man
I picked up bf 4 a few days ago for 6 pounds. That's insane! It's gorgeous an I keep takin screenshots lol the campaign is fun an it still has online. Modern is my fave but I will be grabbing bf1 an 5 too. I started with bf2 pc an then bf1 an then bad company 1 an 2 then bf 3. My faves are bad company 2. 3. An 4 ❤
Modern is perfect for Battlefield but 1 and 5 are great too!
Hw abt Battlefield Hardline na
On PC it has an extremely small player base, which makes it hard to recommend
@@Punggles thnx man, hope the servers are still active in ps4 as well✌
Removal of 3d spotting was battlefields biggest fuck up
Hard disagree, I think 3d spotting is a terrible mechanic if its not handled right and is spammable.
Fantastic comment, I wish they would listen!
I’ve never had another gaming experience like playing battlefield 4 with friends
BF4 is the battlefield gameplay loop perfected, BF1 is for a more realistic and survival approach (the campaign is great), BFV is the same but more casual, and BF2042 is working fine on consoles at least, they are reworking maps and now is a better experience, but is way far from the BF4 experience
I agree that battlefield 2042 is dead but battlefield 4 and battlefield 1 they're still good and popular, battlefield 5 whatever.
yeah luckily those games still have decent populations.
I’ve always loved the setting in bf1 and bf5 but I love bf4 tons too and I get if it is your favorite but personally mine is bf1
As someone who has only played BF3 and 4 way way back when they released I had this thought of going back to Battlefield but didn’t know which to go and play so this was very good video 👍
Glad you found it helpful!
It's funny with hardline on ps4, we all know each other lmao. Like everyone who plays hardline to this day knows each other across the world pretty much by name. It's crazy
I was thinking of getting a battlefield game from gamepass to have a new first person shooter to play and im probably gonna get 1 or v
Its definitely worth checking them out!
wich one i chose bf3 or bfbc2 ?
BF3 has more players now.
@@Punggles ok thx
I play BFV everyday. It’s really fun to me
I'm not on PC, but I did abandon 2042 a while ago and went back to 4 and 1.
Bruh your profile pic is terrifying
(So you give easy points to the opposite team, revoke 1 jet to your team and you feel pathetic from being shot down so fast.)
Ground vehicles and choppers are a tiny bit easier because you can join as a gunner and rack assist points and kill points to unlock the vehicles perks and weapons.
Battlefield I and Battlefield V, at least, offers some good base with the vehicles and while the unlocked perks does help a lot, you can still relatively rack up points even with the default version of the vehicle.
Battlefield 1 is da best, BF4 was good as well
I like the way you think
nah 4 better than 1. 1 was shitballs..
Im guilty of terrorizing the server with UCAVs
I kind of hate you...
Wow memory unlocked! I think I played the beta for that but never played the full game
I playing 2042 & 5 ❤.. but i play 2042 more bcoz i luv fast pace games
BF3 and BF1. The most fun and cinematic experiences I've ever had in a video game
Same here 😊
No 1 plays bf1 on ps4 in australia though :(
Sorry to hear that!
And I'm over here still playing BF3.
I honestly love battlefield V. The historic inaccuracies are kinda annoying but besides that it’s so fun! Everything is better in that game compared to the other games imo
They did a lot right for sure. Lots of things I wish were carried forward into 2042
I go back and forth between 4 and V. I rarely play 1 because i cant stand
1) MORTARS (fuck that shit)
2) Bloom (i've lost countless gun fights because of this)
3) Grenade and Gas spam
4) Sweet spot mechanic for sniping
Fair enough, for me the fun outweighs those annoyances but I can totally see how those mechanics can ruin the game for you.
I’m still play BF4
I always like battlefield 1 and the gunplay system. It's unique assault rifles didn't exist during World war I So there really isn't an in-between Swiss Army knife weapon In that game, every weapon serves a purpose. The game is very rock paper scissors And the scout class is interesting because of the sweet spot mechanic which it forces the player to use a specific rifle depending on their playstyle I Didn't really like the variant weapon system either would have rather seen an attachment system instead But that game is rock solid in my opinion
1 pet peeve of bfv is why doe ther americans have litteraly only 1 tank when the british and germans have like 10 tanks!?
Battlefield 1 is my absolute favourite Battlefield game. I loved the campaign but I did find it to be a bit short would have loved more stories, haven't gotten to multiplayer yet but I hear it's great.
bf4 has a nasty colour pallet.....bf1 and bf5 andddddddd bf3 are the OGs
One thing that should be noted for console players: graphically, BF4 has not aged well AT ALL in its console form. It's off-putting enough that I actually put down the game because of that. On Xbox (where I play) it's particularly bad because the game's locked to 720p even on next-gen, making firefights and vehicle play even more frustrating at most engagement ranges.
That’s good to know, I personally have little to no BF console experience
and I can’t change my fov on my series s The one good thing is it supports 120fps
The UI in 4 is also trash on Xbox too. I can't find how to change my loadouts in the main menu.
I don’t think you can lol
On PS4 it's ok. 1080p
Do you think bf 4 is worth it on xbox one
I’ve heard it’s not well optimized
@@Punggles i bought it before you replied and i think its fine just unpopulated, except for the weekends
@@ssikkiiland glad to hear it runs well!
BF4 is surprisingly timeless. I wish BF3 had been on the PS4/Xbone generation too, if so I probably never would’ve fallen for 2042 smh
Battlefield 2 was one of the best games I've ever played in pc
I have not stopped playing BF4 since it came out. I have also not purchased on single BF title since BF4, nor played any betas and I don't feel like I've missed a thing. BF4 is still AWESOME!
If u like 4 buy 3 u wont regert it bf3 also supports mods via comuinty made Venice Unleashed
@@fantasy_4772 Somehow i cant make any connection to a server with venice unleased.
But i still play BF3 using battlellog

@@opoxious1592 Just loaded the game on a reality mod server works fine even after the switch from orgin👍
@@fantasy_4772 I will give it another try
Battlefield 3, 4 and 1, the 3 horsemen of the Battlefield Golden Age
It's still 3 for me all the way. The gunplay, visual style and map design surpass that of BF4, although the latter comes with more polish, scope and proper naval warfare.
Agreed on all fronts
Here’s my suggestion: BF1: best for immersion. BF4: Best for gunplay. BF5: bit of both. Overall tho I’d say Bf1 is the best
The funny thing is, 2042 still has potential to be one of, if not THE best, battlefield game. Hopefully the devs can make a comeback with this game
Try BF1942, that one‘s a banger.
Hardline has been a personal favorite game during my childhood and I still enjoy playing it to this day, fuck the fal though
I get wrecked but that game is awesome
1 and 4 are always the best
My man
Unpopular opinion I loved bad company 2, hardline and 4
