hey i live in sacramento also i go fishing a lot with my dad and we have caught lots of stripers and sturgeon in deep water chanel and sac river but we have never fished in the american river so like around this time of the year the striper run up the american river ?? i was just wondering
@@JoseTheG_6.2 the run was over after june already these are just more of the resident stripers in the AR. Its a hit or miss for these guys but putting in 2 hours morning or evening just to get a bite.
@@waejin51 i did before this year once but it was too early for the area. The last time i had really fished the feather area was 4 years ago when a striper broke me off during that time the line I had was old and bad. Only reason why I dont go up there much is the drive is almost 1 hr to the spots up there.
@@waejin51 I was suppose to try there in May this year, but with the striper still rolling through May and June it was hard to go farther for the striper. I don't really know any areas up in the feather except bait soaking areas.

@@mountain916vaj9 its long walk from that other side of that beach area
what time do you usually go fishing? morning or evening?
@@Blue2is i usually do mornings mostly but i sometimes do evening runs also.
Did you change the hooks on that lure, or were those originals
@@germanybuilt1234 i changed it out to 2x hooks but it still bent the hook.
