@@paosaefong5125 am a jackall person when it comes to jerkbaits since i cant afford losing 16 dollar duos everytime. Check on ebay and wal mart online for jackall jerkbaits they are sold by shimano somehow.

@@1Mannco i think that would be too many weak spots on the line. I would do that if i was soaking though. In my last video before this one the fish broke off 30lb braid. Also.
@@HangNFish If you're hitting rocks on the bottom from 'bait fishing' I can see that but if you're throwing jerk baits and glidebaits/top water lures where you really don't hit the bottom or rocks [unless near shore] then you should be good. I use 120 yards 30lb braid main line and a 2 foot 20-25lb flouro leader, never have a problem. Use good knots like a palomer etc, and maybe change the split rings and use better hooks too.
@@ChasingStriper that was what happened also. Lucky i didnt put alot of pressure on the line. The end of the line was rubbed on rocks for sure. It hugged the bottom for sure. There were at times the fish didnt move anymore
your drag is way too loose for 10lb test. as you reel you're not gaining any line due to as you reel in the spool just spin at the same time. tighten the drag just a little to gain the line and let fish run to get tired then reel in when it stop. The longer you fight the fish the higher you will lose the fish. I used 10lbs test Stren line and caught a 32 lbs Salmon using Mepps #5 lure land it within 10 mins. Drag is the key and knowing when reeling the spool is not spinning at the same time.
@@1mw4tch1ng after turning it a couple of times the drag was loose. It was hard to tighten the drag feeling that the fish put so much pressure it could snap the line also. When the spool looked like it was gonna run out of line panic mode set in.
