Coming from an old arma 2 oa Takistan insurgent, looks like ya'll were stationed like the regular border between Feruz Abad and Bastam, Those hills are the godsend and main ally to any fighting force inside Takistan in general. That central road was always a hotspot for insurgents/civilians crossing the border which was used as a smokescreen effect to conceal fighters climbing the hills and firing into the valley like your buddy pointed out in the beginning . It's generally a shit spot to be posted but playing as opfor we found that stationing sniper teams and aromored vics on the hills surrounding mostly helped holding the crossing from any attacking squad
