Still can't believe we got Armani on a free and has to go down as the deal/steal of the season. He has been amazing and just the sort of player we have been missing for many years, so long may it continue for someone who is very quickly becoming a huge fan favourite.
This lad has amazing energy and quality to go with it. Star man. A player that has had some highs and lows. Looks to have settled well and is a driving force in the team
Great video Matt. Enjoy all your chats. Agree with everyone else that he has been our best player this season. I was at the game Saturday, we sure run out of ideas. No plan B , im not too sure there was a plan A. Lets hope for a reaction on Saturday. Well done, Matt. Dave ....Norwich.
Arguably our best player this season and comes across a level headed lad. Good video Matt but some constructive - you spoke over him/finished his sentences a few times in the video. Would have been more enjoyable to hear from him a bit more in that regard.
Yes, you tend to do that matt, part of your politeness I think and keeping things on the level. You did skate near the edge as close as you could Matt, but not surprisingly got no clues on return, just speak nothing talk. Maybe could have asked him how it feels running the mid on his own since Robis injury. I hear the polite stuff about Coleman but as I never rated him in the first place no more than ii rated OKeefe and Shawn Williams I dont agree with it. Wish I was a fly on the wall at their meeting, I do hope everyone listened and took it on board, Bradford will tell. Personally I think Bonner will try to shut up shop and get a point and with any luck a breakaway goal, might be worth a bet but I frankly fear the worst.
@@jayvee44 appreciate the comments, it’s not intended but when interviewing sometimes you can think of something of a bi product of what you hear so try to engage while you remember it. I’ve had no training on this type of thing so what I do is self taught so therefore certainly won’t be faultless.
@@richardkorbel7279 why would I ask a question like that which would likely be construed as insulting to a teammate and potentially a friend of Armani? Plus you have to remember the point that if I start approaching these chats in that manner they may be taken away and then we get to find out nothing at all.
@@gillsinthebloodgitbtv460 of course! But we remain the dark as to whats going on...to another on here, appreciation for what Matt does is appreciated, goes without saying. and its nice to get some answers from you matt. Meanwhile if you get a chance to speak to joe or brad, as we ve got no chance sadly, ask why the club is almost impossible to reach by phone, if you get an answer by email it's often far too late and no sense can be gotten even on the very point I'm making here amongst everything else. I realise this is the way modern companies work but it's extremely poor. My sense is that there are still problems at our club, a club I've supported as a boy 50 years ago, a club where directors and ex directors set our their dirty washing indirectly on facebook. I felt and I still feel that behind the scenes shenanigans are responsible for the conversations weve had about previous on the pitch failures and now on current pitch failures. Something is still not right at our club, whether it has been recruitment or the recruitment of managers who just cant do it. Sometimes you have to call a spade a spade. While the conversation with Armani was interesting and pleasant, I learned absolutely nothing. Still perhaps I'm expecting too much.
Early contender for Gills Player of the Season
Been the best player on the pitch all season

A great player for us, great interview Matt, you’ve got a real talent with this.

Should be captain.
