I have straight hair semi-freeforms. Just reached 4 months a few days ago. Started with towel rubbing and stopped rubbing regularly at around the 2 month mark (except for after washes). My hair was around 4 inches when I started and it's grown about 1.5 - 2 inches since then. It was discouraging going into facebook groups saying that it couldn't be done with my hair and I'm more than thrilled to be proving those naysayers wrong. I'm happy with the progress I've made and the sections are great. Lots of different sizes going on. Of course there's still some loose hair, mostly at the nape of my neck, but seems like it's a non-issue. I also intentionally keep my bangs loose as well. My right side is more locked and less frizzy than my left side because it's the side I sleep on. But I've been fixing that by lightly twisting up my left side and training myself to sleep on that side. Or putting a beanie on while it's twisted during the daytime because it's beginning to get cold here. Can't wait to see what my hair looks like at 6 months, a year, and so on.
Stephoomazoo its not that it cant be done its just REALLY hard like even with kinky 4c hair it usually takes around 6-12 months and with straight hair is closer to 2+ years
@@somanyquestions3113 Good thing I have the rest of my life ;)
RJay you my friend are very ignorant lol 😂
You just described my whole situation with my freeforms lol...that's whats up
Anyone else thinks his channel hasn't been the same since he got rid of his dreads?
Bruh, his last video where he reviewed that one kid for almost the entire video had me dead.
Facts
Omg yesss. I literally just gave in and said "ok this is boring" and started skipping and said fuck it and was about to end it but went to see if some one felt like me. He need to get them back asap or over time this channel is going to fall. Especially since everyone here has locs and or coming here for them or because they want them. And these boring vids are too long. He talks about nothing fr fr.
@@JUNKTV420 too bad they are cut
I think everything was going pretty good when he had the high top thicker dreads
i love that poster
Gotta stop rockin that pony tail all the time if you wana free form them thangs lol
My Reaction To The Thumbnail: 😳EHHHHHHHHHH
TAPKING13 personally I love the look of imperfect and loopy dreads
@@ThePriusMechanic me too. I prefer messier than a very uniformed ones
bruh, i understand this guy gunther half white BUT im sorry. Nothing i hate more than white people trying to get dreads. If its not natural, pls pls dont do it. & im the most opened minded person out there
@@sdprecords6599 fax
@@sdprecords6599 u aint open minded if u cant stand straight hair dreads im sorry 🤷♂️
Those don’t even look like dreads but I saw someone at the airport who was white he had these long ass dreads and they where actually dreads
Maybe he was white and had 3a-3b curls.
Citadele Mapper yeah maybe
Huey Freeman my hair gets into like snake curls sometimes
Nitrogenshibe yeah some guy told me that happens sometimes got straiter hair
can sponge work on 2A hair type for free forms from the beginning if i want fluffy lifted top?
Can use the crochet needle after the sponge??
nice hair
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
💯
I used to have freefrom dreadlocks (2A hair) but i got lice about 7 months ago and in a panic i cut them all off, really regret it :c
I know the pain bro
had to do the same thing but started instantly growing them back
I've always wanted to know what my hair types is but I'm not for sure
I think it is like a 3c or 4a
He has a video on that you could check it out
It's just the diameter of the curl only. How your hair feels or how silky it is doesn't matter. I'm in Japan and some Japanese have silky straight hair and others are thick and fuzzy. So hair type is only one part of the equation.
Damn bro why cut your dreads off homie
hi
Only 174 likes???? Oh 18 hours ago... WHY IS THERE ONLY 174 LIKES
Is 3a considered straight
Not at all
3a is on the straighter side of curly hair but that’s where hair starts to get curly. 3a is curly it’s just loose curls.
Giver her two years then review again
Ye that is not it
Yo Gunther I Love Your Channel But Straight Hair Dreads And Nappy Head Dreads Are Very Very Different.
Honestly, i was kinda mad he even made this vid. But then again, hes a credible source and this is his income in a way. Also, hes part white so fuck😂 as much as i hate it, i can blame Gunther
Haha 69th comment. Nice
First?
1st
Can white people have dreads like Juice wrld?
no
We can have any type of hair
Yeah Matt ox did it rlly early when he had those two strands sticking up, but still not 100%
look up celtic tribe/viking braids and locs lol. white people have always historically worn them, anyone can wear them. they're protective styles that are good for anyone above a type 1 hair type. And white people lie on the spectrum of hair types like anyone else.
I hate these kind of dreads
Great. Now you can keep that to yourself
@@IsielCalisang nope
@@IsielCalisang bruh, i hope to god that aint u in ur avi. But i kno for a fact it is so ima refrain myself....keep that also to yourself
