I'll be trying the new sticky pad install today, but will likely restore the old pads with this method, it's definitely worth the a try. I may even make a vid comparing pads, note for note. Sounds like a plan. Thanks for the vid!
Thanks so for making this video! Very helpful, very well made and easy to follow! Plus cheaper then the ones available online. I also have a Pianet T. Have you ever tried restoring those pads? The ones on mine are losing their grip. Any tips greatly appreciated.
It helps eliminate some static by providing a path to ground for the key stems. It's been years, but I believe it's connected to the case shielding. There's a video on UA-cam about it. Search "Eliminating Static in the Pianet N"
The sound is made by the pads sticking, pulling the reed which then vibrates when the pad release the reed. It must be a fine art making the pad sticky enough, but not too sticky which obviously would not make any sound!

Winky Dee this method has held up. They’re still going. I think it’s better to make new pass actually. But lemme know how it goes

Yes. It is shown in the video. I believe I found it on eBay. I’m no expert but I suppose anything within a reasonable range will work
