    If interested in texlaxing, if you texlax every 3-4 months only do your roots. If you have virgin hair you can apply relaxer to the ends. If you do once a year and get a lot of new growth maybe you can go your ends but it depends on what look you want. If you want a curlier texture try to avoid putting relaxer on your ends (unless virgin hair or long times in between texlaxing and your hair grows extremely fast with lots of new growth greater than 3 inches.). Doing ends too often can cause overprocessing or straighter ends than you want. Especially if you want to do wash and goes.

    I was about to texturize my natural hair but then I discovered hair botox (Boto Hair treatment) and fell in love! It works like a texturizer but its a natural protein treatment. It isn't permanent and lasts at least 4 months. It's more expensive than texturizers but so worth it. My hair feels the healthiest its ever been and there's NO more frizz and curls that stay defined and looser. Its also so much easier to wash and wear straight

It just wasn’t for Me... My hair is growing back Thank God🙏🏾. Your video showed Me I can still have my spirals and texture without all the extra work. My hair responded so well to what you did in your video. I just want You to know how grateful I am and I didn’t even know this was possible until I watched your video. Thanks so much. The way your hair will come out will depend on what type of curl pattern you already have. I would suggest texturizing your hair when the relaxer is almost gone. If you don't you will see the line of demarcation of where your natural hair ends and relaxer starts.

    This stuff is very strong. I used it on my cousins hair. It was on for a total of 7 minutes and her hair became bone straight. I didn't pull or comb through her hair. I did her sides and back last since that area is short. That is the only area that came out curly and it was on the sides and back for 1 min. Now her hair looks a hot as* mess. Top came out with straight roots with kinky end and soft curls on the side and back.

    • @icyunvme0912
      @icyunvme0912  8 років тому

      It's a lot milder than a relaxer. Texturizer loosens your curl pattern to make your hair more manageable while a relaxer straightens your hair.

    • @icyunvme0912

      No not really. If you texturize the same amount of time you relax your hair then your hair will become straight. I also suggest when texlaxed, maintain your hair as if you have natural hair. Co-washing, deep condition treatments, & etc... I usually texturize 1-2 times a year or wait longer. Basically it all depends on your preference. Hope this helped. 😊

    • @shawny9027
      @shawny9027 4 роки тому +3

      Tamaya David did you comb it through your hair? If so I’ve always seen they say “do not comb a texturizer through your hair it will make it straight.” Just “smooth” it into your hair as in “clasping” your hands together and smoothing it throughout your hair. A texturizer is like a perm but you just leave it on for a shorter period of time that’s why you get a “looser curl” and not “bone-straight” hair. When you want straight hair you would comb the perm through and leave it on for a longer period of time ,but if you just wanted to loosen your tight or loose curls/coils you’re suppose to just smooth the product to your detangled hair and leave it on for a shorter period of time. Depending on the density of your hair that time depends . Also When I say smooth I mean simply sliding it on your hair with your hands. I hope that helped stay blessed and stay up beautiful God bless💕

      you can't telax your already relaxed hair. it'd be like applying another relaxer. as for your new growth; you could telax, but you would still have two textures and eventually have to cut your relaxes ends.

    • @beyoncehightower2852
      @beyoncehightower2852 8 років тому

      +princess darkskin no telaxing is like a relaxer except you don't let it completely process and straighten your natural hair. most naturals telax to have more manageable hair. not sure why her hair was blow dried in the beginning, maybe just her intro lol 😂 but if you are trying to go natural after being relaxed, your ends won't curl up and you have to cut your ends. if you're already natural and you use heat, then you possibly could have heat damage and you still would have to cut the hair off.

    • @beyoncehightower2852

      Dont do it. Im 3c and tried this years ago with the same product and even though I rinsed it right out and didnt even comb it through, my hair was too straight like I had a full perm. For 3c, just stretch the hair with bantu knots or other stretched styles regularly and the hair will stretch and loosen on its own.
