People who understand the destructive nature of compaction dislike triples . Use tracks in line to minimize compaction damage and to minimize the area compacted.
@@ronlee8203 , while the triples will have a compaction effect on a wider area, the ground pressure across all effected areas will be lower than with duals, which is lower than singles. Have you thought about chip tuning it? I see you can get +101 HP and 600 NM on the most aggressive tune. Could solve your power issues. Standard tune is half of that.
The hydraulic lines on the "Tire Grabber" were stretched too tight! Looks like they should have been routed to the left of that arm sticking up. Pretty cool device though!
They’d have to start over to get that 16 liter to fit.... they have to keep the front chassis narrow to have any sort of hope for a decent turning radius
there truly isnt any point in going higher power. even with duals 1050 was slipping 15 - 50% last year (even on flat ground). and designing a new 1000 series JUST for mike, cause hes probably the only one in the world putting on triples on a 1050, ye... not gonna happen
In Thailand where a large amount of their farming is done in flooded rice fields, the Thais will build a metal paddle wheel that fits where a double tire would sit.
I do not think so. Because of the heavy equipment the speed of the 1050 in the field is not fast enough. As a result the drivetrain does not work efficiently. More horsepower would enable the tractor to pull faster, the vario transmission could work at its optimum and fuel consumption would drop. A Fendt tractor with the right equipment sizing works very efficient. In Mike’s case the size of the equipment is set, so we need to add extra power for smooth operations. 😊 Let’s do a 1060, that would be fun! 😎

Also we would sometimes have people ask me what company we bought the sockets from. P.S. When working around a shop where your the softest thing around always make sure of safety first and always engage your safety squints.
Mike it occurs to me that job might go a little easier if you took a bolt or two (maybe a little longer than what you are using) and cut the heads off. Grind a slot or weld a much smaller nut on the end and install them in the top and bottom holes as alignment pins.
But Mike - those two first bolts are over torqued by the gun.. The correct way should be that the torque wrench moves it a bit then clicks. But you knew that :)
