@@WrathVault Yes the explorer has Gibson 500t 498r while this has Seymour Thrash Factors. Alltough 500t isn't a bad pickup I much rather Seymour Duncans. My favorites are still de jb/jazz though which the TFs are the hotter versions.
My man is over here really showing how the term "clean" is subjective. On my first rig I was lucky to get that much drive, by the 3rd I was trying to hold it back lol
@@WrathVault hey I'm not shaming or hating, you do you man! Sure it would be nice to hear it "truly" clean but tbf I think that's about as clean as most who buy this guitar would set it at. Cheers bro have a great day!
This guitar rips. Only complaint is the finish on the silverburst has contamination in it (red brown specs). And this isn’t just my guitar it’s numerous guitars from This line I have seen
I heard lots of issues about the paintjob too. It’s a shame for this type of guitar but as far as I know they solved the issue on their latest productions.
Yeah man, I'm trying to open up the amplifier as much as I can in the healthy limits to record it properly, but the shake is because of the vibration on the floor and I solved it. I have a few videos with this issue and it will be gone.
Dude I’m aware. I solved the situation, you can see on the video from January 1st but I still have a few videos before that day and currently I don’t have the access to the guitars for a reshoot. Thanks for your good words and sorry about inconvenience, I will make you guys seasick just for a few videos and It will be gone 😅
@@WrathVault I don't have to. Keep this in mind... Just because you like *this* Gibson, doesn't make Gibson a decent company. It's still overpriced, and it's still had every possible corner cut on it.
@@MFKR696 well, the comment wasn’t about Gibson, their price or brand policies and you could get it if you would watch the 1st video just I mentioned in the beginning of this video. It’s not a sponsored video, I don’t care what viewers would think about Gibson, I didn’t say anything about purchasing or not. Simply, It was Gibson Mustaine with Mesa Recto and I really liked it.
@@WrathVault he might be referring to riffs of the same song not sounding connected, like with Hangar 18 which just might be because its only guitar without drums and bass or slightly slower changes...anyway, sometimes it seems like you learned the riff a few days ago and thats fine tbh...I cant even play them yet so just play. I also think theres too much gain? Maybe thats just me tbh. Dont be discouraged, you are far from actually sucking.
@@cycomiles4225 dude you’re right. I know it shouldn’t concern you but in the day of this video I shot videos of 6 different guitars from 2 pm till 4 am and this was the last video. I know some of them better than others and there were lots of mistakes but in this channel I’m trying to demonstrate as unpolished as I can. Also playing consistently is hard for me without a metronome. I know it’s not the best and it shouldn’t be an excuse in a global platform but it’s the best I can after my daily job and hustle. Thank you for your supportive attitude and good words!
@@WrathVault Dude, just play. We all make mistakes. We all get tired, its fine. Keep em coming. I know all too well how hard it is to be focused after a long day of work. Have you tried using backing tracks or the record instead of a metronome, pkaying with the record allowed my brain to not care about the mistake so I just continue as ut didnt happen because the music keeps you pushing forward. Im not a good player by any means or even confident enough to post on YT but this is what helped me a bit.
Great video... Those SD pick-ups!
i own this guitar, too and I ❤ it
Unlike the other gibson you loved this one :)
Actually they were quite similar but the difference on their sounds are like day and night 🙃

@WrathVault 1:13 you mention neck-through construction. I believe in common Gibson fashion, that it is a set neck with a glued joint.
I just checked, my mistake man you're right!

@@WrathVault super easy to mess up that paint job. I meant silver sparkle not silver burst , my bad . Y’all knew what I meant!
Gibson 🤘🤘🤘
One correction: The neck joint is a set neck construction, and not a neck-through construction.
Yea man, it was stated in a few hours by another viewer too. My mistake, thanks!

Wow, that must have been loud in the room judging by the way the camera is shaking.

Great video, but the camera shaking while you're playing makes it a bit unpleasant to watch compared to your other videos

not sure if its the guitar or the player or both but something sucks
It’s sad to hear that. I know I can’t play good but if you can explain what’s wrong to your ears, it will be helpful.
