We were hoping to post this video with rain footage, but we haven’t had any rain significant enough to trigger the pump in the last three months and there's little rain in the 14 day forecast. The dry well has handled it all so far. When we get a good rain we’ll post a follow up. Thanks again for watching
@jasonfournier thank you Jason. I still don’t see any rain in the extended forecast. I might have to learn how to cloud seed - lol. Have a good evening, Tom
Hard to believe you do not have a 6 figure fan base on youtube yet. Most excellent work, great editing and equipment well maintained. I look forward to every video you put out!
What a big job and such a nice solution to let the water run off the driveway, 👌 good thing it was sloping enough towards the street. Love to watch your family work together, you make a great team 👍 I’ll keep a eye out for a follow up with loads of rain. Cheers from the Netherlands 😊
Hello from NJ Jim and thank you very much. I hope you are ok after the hurricane. Thank you for your compliments and we always look forward to hearing from you. Thanks again, Tom
@@tyelandscapinganddrainage thank you sir! I’m in central NC so far from the damage. Western NC is really hurting and needs lots of assistance. They are tough people!

I’m so happy to see a younger person with a good strong body, helping you! I love getting out and working until my body aches, but as we get older, it all catches up to us. Good for Nick wanting to learn, and working hard. We need more young men doing this type of work!

Another great job. You can tell you really care about the owners property. I was just wondering if you could give an approximate cost for a job like this. I understand if you don't want to divulge that. Keep up the great videos. Take care.
Hi, can you either get your customer or yourselves to get a video after a big rain to see how your new system now works? Also, I have a bit of advice as being a builder for 30 years. When you lay your pipe, you should concrete around the joints. I live in the uk, and our pipes are not glued they have a rubber seal, and we have to push each joint in,either way glued or rubber seal I would concrete each joint as the system would last a lifetime, rubber seals and glued will always have roots penatrate over time so concreting will give the customer a more lasting and professional job...

Hi there You never consider to install a big rainwater tank to make this water usable after for toilet and so one? And the tank becomes the buffer in heavy rain . Greetings from Belgium
Hello from New Jersey Ferrosteph. We install dry wells or soak aways, but this customer wanted this water off his property. We have a small 250 gal dry well. We actually got a light rain a couple weeks ago. Almost 2 inches over 3 days and the dry well handled it all. Nothing was pumped. A large dry well big enough to handle the amount of water in those pictures would have cost much more than the system we installed. Plus, we are not set up to use this rain runoff for the toilet. That would require a pump system and running lines through the house to bathrooms. Much more expensive. Thank you for your thoughts. Tom

Yeah NJ has been so dry. I think only one or two days of rain in September. None since
@jasonfournier thank you Jason. I still don’t see any rain in the extended forecast. I might have to learn how to cloud seed - lol. Have a good evening, Tom

Thank you DFT.
Show the results of your work on a rainy day - works for Gate city foundation who has 65k subs.
It would be great to show it working during a heavy rainstorm, whenever NJ gets it!
We will show it working, but still no rain in the forecast. Thanks and have a good day.
These videos are great. Keep uploading!
Thank you Zack. We’ll try to upload more often. Have a good day
How satisfying and great work. I’m still shocked diverting rainwater to the street is not mandatory.
Thank you very much King. No water to the street. Especially sump pump discharge. Thanks again

Pretty great and video. Great setup and cleanup. Yard does need grading and more soil added. Cheers. ❤️👍👊💪👍❤️
Thank you Jeri. It does. The customer talked about bringing in a couple loads of soil. I think he will do that himself. Thanks again
Great project. Thanks for explaining to long run around the house. I too wouldn't want my town involved unless i really had to!
Thank you very much Matt. Have a good evening, Tom
Loved Nick's song choice at the end. Knew I liked you guys for more than just the great job you always do.

Looks great! I use 2x4 to hammer the pipes in bc has a bigger flatter compare to soft hammer when I install 4-6 inch sdr35
Thank you Matt and thank you for sharing.
Nice job and got it done, they can be a bit drawn out, just finished one last week about 300' of pipe with some water proofing.
Thank you Nic. 300 feet of pipe is pretty sweet. Our next job is installing 100 feet of 12 inch dual wall. It’s pretty crazy. Thanks again, Tom
@@tyelandscapinganddrainage Schedule 40. I usually use it but cost has become allot.
We only use sch 40 for under pavers, sidewalk or driveway. I prefer the sdr 35. Thanks
Where did you get your little V bucket ?
We made that Chris. There is a video

I love the drainage vids but never show it in action.
Did he want to go through the town?
Towns don't allow discharging to the street directly.
Very true Jason. Especially a sump pump discharge
Why not send it closer to the street? Over a period of time the asphalt will get damaged by the water pressure.. 🤷🏼♂️
We discharged up there so you couldn’t see it from the street. The discharge is hidden by the curve of the driveway and the parked cars
