When I bought my 2019 Prius Limited, I went to Toyota to get my first oil filter & I had to give parts department the VIN#. Mine, TOO, took the spin on. Some are made w/cartridge, some spin ons.👍

Hi, whenever i try to check the oil level on my CC 1.8 hybrid which has 0w-16 oil, i have a hard time finding exactly where the oil level is because the oil is very thin and transparent, do you have any method to be able to detect the oil level on the oil dipstick? Thank you!

In the manual it says don't use 0w-20 too often. Do you think it will be fine to use high quality 0w-20 permanently instead of 0w-16?

So can i use 5w30 in summer months with temperature is+40-42 in my Corolla cross 2.0 hybrid?
In autumn i will use 0w16 oil.And will change oil twice i n year in autumn and in summer.

I wish we could get the Corolla Cross in the UK. One thing I dislike about the smaller Yaris Cross is they changed the battery from AGM to flooded type, so the acid in the battery under the rear passenger isn’t bound into glass fibre, which sounds less safe if there were to be an accident.

You can change the battery, the chinese will eventually make replacement one if Yaris Cross popular enough!

@@slothypunk unfortunately the technology to charge the two different types is different. I’ve already spoken with Toyota too and they confirmed I can’t simply swap battery types.
