    Hey, at around 28.30 mark on your video, the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid achieved 4.2 liter/100 kms (or 23.8 kms/liter). It stayed there for like 10 seconds or so and then went up to 4.3 again. Amazing!

    I own this car. Lowest I went was 4.4L, but that was very slow like 50-60kmh. Normal is more like 5L highway 110kmh

    YS Khong please do review on strut bar/chassis brace, and anti roll bar. Significant improve handling. What's ur point of view and in Rally. A Friend used to had an original Ralliart Proton front strut bar.
    For SUV personally think is standard to have the rear anti roll bar

    No awd option for our market. Plus rumours there could be a perodua version.

    Hmm...how did they get 4.57L/100km reading, when the fuel meter shows one decimal point reading?

    • @YSKhongDriving
      @YSKhongDriving  Рік тому

      The 4.57 is based on another test by the car maker, not by us. To do better, we must get 4.4 or better, since our meter only shows 1 decimal point.

    It is not wholly assembled in Msia. It comes from Thailand n they only fix the side mirrors in Bkt Raja. It still needs Custom's clearence. Tcc hybrid is very expensive comparatively. Its only usd31k in the US.

      You pay a different set of duties in the US. In Msia we pay more. Singapore is worse.

    Hi uncle, my veloz shows 12.1km/l, is that ard 8.26l/100km? Been driving for one month still cannot get the results

    • @YSKhongDriving
      @YSKhongDriving  Рік тому +1

      Divide 100 by your km per liter to get l/100 km. Each fc test depends on road conditions and traffic conditions, load and terrain. Also we use the same driving stule for all our tests, i.e. using light throttle and gentle acceleration, and following the traffic flow, so as to get consistent results throughout the many models we test. Therefore, your tests may yield different results.

    My biggest dislikes on the American Toyota Corolla Cross are the rear turn signals.

    Hmm the difference in fuel consumption will be gone after your battery is done and you suffer from driving slowly everyday. It's not that efficient yet, need to hit 2-3 L per KM to see an advantage of getting Hybrid car

    My axia easily get 20km/l and max 25km/l. I wonder if axia switch to hybrid. How much can it get ?

    • @YSKhongDriving
      @YSKhongDriving  Рік тому

      It would be an interesti g proposition but perhaps not economically viable. The Axia is an entry- level car and is priced as such. Adding a hybrid system into it would make the price so high, if you know what I mean.
      Anyway 20 to 25 km per litre is already impressive.

    Is this the same generation hybrid system found in Camry hybrid other than the engine capacity?

  • @khairb943
    @khairb943 Рік тому +2

    Yup fuel consumption can be as low as that but what about the cost of replacing the hybrid battery after 7 or 8 years?

    • @weihonglift4313
      @weihonglift4313 Рік тому +1

      You can claim it from toyota because it comes with 8 years battery warranty, and you can add another 2 years by paying few thousand ringgit for extra peace of mind.

    • @afdhalahnaflasila6199
      @afdhalahnaflasila6199 Рік тому +1

      Replacing cost within 13-15k.. warranty is 8 years.. It will free replacing if its not works under warranty period.. 15k devide the cost for 8 years, it took rm156.25 monthly.. it still affordable for the cost.. think so lahh arhh..

      Current cars in the west indictates batteries can go for longer periods but its storage capacity may decrese by 10% by the tenth year.
